Can America Be Saved?

America may be a broken nation, but there is still hope for a recovery, according to award-winning journalist David Kupelian.
“I don’t give up hope,” said Kupelian on the mega-nighttime radio show “Coast to Coast AM” with George Noory. “I mean, you could say, if there’s no hope then what do you do? You go off, you drop out, you live for yourself, for your family, and you try to live a good life. No; too many people have fought and bled and died to help this country and to help strangers in foreign lands. There’s still half the country that has not had their mind snapped.”
The “snapping” comment was a reference to Kupelian’s new book,  “The Snapping of the American Mind,” in which the author proposes multiple levels of solutions to healing America, which has been practically destroyed by what he terms a “lawless government and godless culture.” He shared some of his ideas with Noory’s audience of 3-5 million listeners earlier this week.
According to Kupelian, American needs healing on three levels. The first is the nationwide or “macro” level. He said that starts with obvious steps like “electing a president who loves the U.S. and its Constitution!” As commander in chief, he adds, “the president must be loved by America’s friends and feared by her enemies.”
Restoring the country also involves having a strong military, supporting Israel, and securing the borders, he said, ticking off many other needed changes, including reducing the size of government to constitutional levels, abandoning political correctness and abolishing the IRS.
“I also said abolish the Federal Reserve, which is actually not constitutional, because the people gave Congress the power to ‘coin money and regulate the value thereof,’ and didn’t say they could give it to an outside banking cartel,” he told Noory and his vast nighttime audience.
However, Kupelian understands there’s not too much ordinary Americans can do to bring about those macro-level changes, however needed they are.
“You can argue, yeah, well that’s great, David, but how are we going to make those things happen?” he said. “OK, point taken … That has to do with leadership. Until we get the kind of leadership and a change in the culture and, really, a revival in the country, not too many of those things will happen.”
Therefore, Kupelian says the American people need to heal on an individual level as well. One of the key things, he says, is to stop depending on the government. It’s also important to have faith in God, exercise your Second Amendment rights, vote, and to protect your children from a sometimes perverse American culture. In addition, he urges people to prepare for an uncertain future.
“Prepping is a good thing; you’re not a nutcase to prep, to prepare for the worst and live for the best,” he advised the “Coast to Coast” audience.
Kupelian also suggests what he calls “de facto secession.” He acknowledged real secession is unlikely to happen in America, but he pointed to the Mormons as an example of “de facto secession.” They moved to Utah to escape persecution in the East, and their lives dramatically improved even though they remained a part of the United States.
“So, you can move to [another] state,” he said, for example, “if you’re a conservative, you can move to Texas. If you’re a liberal, you can move to any big city, basically. There is that way of moving to where you’re more comfortable.”
But even these individual-level fixes may not be enough.
“If we’re so stressed out, our minds are snapping and we’re one of those 130 million people that has to take legal or illegal drugs or get drunk in order to get through life, we’re not doing much good for anybody, for our country, for our family … or ourselves,” Kupelian cautioned.
So the author calls for another level of individual healing that has to do with personal wellness. Exercise is important, he says, because it provides incredible stress relief. And finding the right diet is crucial.

“Hint: disregard everything the government has ever said about food,” he urged.
Consider what the government has said about eggs:
“They just this last year said, ‘Oops, we were wrong. We scared the crap out of everybody for 40 years about eating eggs, but you know what? They’re actually good for you, and they don’t raise your cholesterol.’ So you have to do a little research. What you eat is important.”
Beyond diet and exercise, Kupelian encourages people to pray, meditate, get enough rest and rise above anger and hatred.
“I go through a whole lot of things that are sort of personal discipline-type things where even if the rest of the country, God forbid, is going to hell in a handbasket, you and your family can live a sane and happy life in the midst of chaos,” he told Noory’s audience.
Again, it will be difficult to heal America, but Kupelian pointed out there are still many traditional, right-thinking Americans whose minds have not yet snapped. They provide the key to a revival.
“I think yes, there is hope, but people need to wake up individually,” Kupelian said. “They need to find their humanity and stop being so brainwashed and intimidated by political correctness. … It’s a long road back, there’s no question about it, but yes, it is possible. Because the alternative to having hope is hopelessness, and I’m not going to go there.”

Grassley Sees The Obvious Lies The Administration Told In The Pork Removal Fraud. Funny How Quickly They Folded!

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa
The Obama administration did a rapid U-turn on its decision to remove pork products from federal prisons after a few questions from Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley.
The federal Bureau of Prisons’ reversal of the Oct. 1 menu change comes just one week after its spokesman, Edmond Ross, said pork was the “lowest-rated” food among inmates.
“To corroborate the validity of the claim that prisoners indicated a lack of interest in pork products, I am requesting copies of the prisoner surveys and responses that were used to support the determination to no longer serve pork in federal prisons,” the Republican senator wrote to the agency on Thursday, the Washington Post reported. “Please provide any economic evaluations the Bureau of Prisons has relied on that detail the cost of pork as compared to beef, chicken, and non-meat products such as tofu and soy products.”
Pig products were back on the menu within hours of the letter’s publication.
Grassley also happens to be the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which oversees the federal prison system.

Ross had no answers for the newspaper when asked to describe the policy shift.
“I’m not cleared to say anything and I don’t have answers for you,” Ross said.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, applauded the original decision to pull pork products from federal prisons, but insisted it did not pressure officials on the issue.
Dave Warner, a spokesman for the National Pork Producers Council, was incredulous when he spoke to the Post Oct. 9, saying, “We find it hard to believe that a survey would have found a majority of any population saying, ‘No thanks, I don’t want any bacon.’”
The federal Bureau of Prisons oversees roughly 200,000 inmates.

If One Tenth Of One Percent Of Americans Feel This Way, This Country Is In Deeper Trouble Than We Think.

Black Lives activist says looting, destroying private property is patriotic

A high-profile Black Lives Matter protester lecturing students at Yale said protesters who have destroyed private property in cities like Ferguson, Missouri, were employing a “righteous tactic” to force change.
DeRay McKesson, the 30-year-old activist hired to deliver for credit lectures at the prestigious university for two days, said Black Lives looters are the modern-day equivalent to the patriots behind the historic Boston Tea Party.
The lecturer had students examine an essay written over the summer titled “In Defense of Looting.”
Here’s an excerpt from the lengthy piece:
The mystifying ideological claim that looting is violent and non-political is one that has been carefully produced by the ruling class because it is precisely the violent maintenance of property which is both the basis and end of their power. Looting is extremely dangerous to the rich (and most white people) because it reveals, with an immediacy that has to be moralized away, that the idea of private property is just that: an idea, a tenuous and contingent structure of consent, backed up by the lethal force of the state. When rioters take territory and loot, they are revealing precisely how, in a space without cops, property relations can be destroyed and things can be had for free.
On a less abstract level there is a practical and tactical benefit to looting. Whenever people worry about looting, there is an implicit sense that the looter must necessarily be acting selfishly, “opportunistically,” and in excess. But why is it bad to grab an opportunity to improve well-being, to make life better, easier, or more comfortable? Or, as Hannah Black put it on Twitter: “Cops exist so people can’t loot ie have nice things for free so idk why it’s so confusing that people loot when they protest against cops” [sic]. Only if you believe that having nice things for free is amoral, if you believe, in short, that the current (white-supremacist, settler-colonialist) regime of property is just, can you believe that looting is amoral in itself.
When asked about the lesson by Fox News, McKesson defended the selected reading material.
“The relationship and tension between protest and property destruction is something that America has grappled with since the Revolutionary War & the Boston Tea Party,” he said via Twitter. “The reading … allowed us to explore all sides of the American historical relationships and tensions present in protest.”

Questions And Comments That Need Answering By Democratic Candidates Who Would Love To Spend Us Into Bankruptcy.

And the winner of CNN Democratic presidential debate is …

Hi, I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty®. The first Democratic presidential debate is in the books. And the winners are …
First, the winner on that stage was Bernie Sanders. Why? I understand sales. Sales is my life. I teach sales at events all over the world. The key to sales is energy, enthusiasm and authenticity. What I saw on that CNN stage in Las Vegas were four boring stiffs and one man of energy: Bernie Sanders. I predict polls will show that Americans responded to his energy.
Is he a socialist? Sure. But so are the others. Did you hear what they promised on that stage in Las Vegas? They all want to spend us into bankruptcy. They all want to spend, spend and spend some more. They all want to give everything away to everyone for free. They all want to redistribute wealth. But at least Bernie is an authentic socialist.
He is a true believer. He’s not preaching free stuff to everyone to buy votes. Bernie really believes in this stuff. He drinks the socialist Kool-Aid. Bernie sells his socialism with conviction. I’d have to check the pulses of the others to find out if they were alive.
Is Bernie a crackpot? Yes. Is he certifiably insane on many issues? Yes. But the guy with the most energy, enthusiasm, passion and lifewins every time. Bernie will be the only one on the stage in Las Vegas that walks away smelling like a rose.
But the overall winner was Joe Biden. He wins by default. Crazy Joe must have been watching with a big smile on his face. He can beat those five with his eyes closed and one hand tied behind his back. Hillary Clinton is a crook. She will never be the nominee. Her scandals threaten to wipe out the entire Democratic Party at a moment’s notice. Giving her the nomination is a disaster waiting to happen.
Bernie is literally a commie (by his own admission). He says Republicans should have to defend their support of capitalism. Bernie literally thinks capitalism is a sin. He can’t possibly be the nominee.
That leaves the other three on the stage. They are all pathetic, boring stiffs. Only Joe Biden can save the Democratic Party. You can bet he’s getting his presidential announcement speech ready at this very moment. I wonder who he’ll steal it from?
The third and final winner was gold (the precious metal). Did you really listen to these five Democrats? I took detailed notes. It was like a nuclear arms race to see who can spend more money and pile up more debt. These people are literally certifiably insane. Each one tried to top the others in how much stuff they can give away for free.
Democrats are no longer content to save Social Security. They want to expand it. They’re no longer content to save Medicare. They vow to expand it to everyone. They’re not content to save Obamacare. After Obama passed it by swearing it would never go to illegal aliens, these clowns promised to expand it to illegal aliens. They want to give in-state tuition to illegal aliens. They want to make college free for everyone. They want to make $15 minimum wage the law. They aren’t content with the massive unaffordable regulations of Dodd Frank. Hillary promised it was a “good start” and she’d expand it.
The nation is $18 trillion in debt and this new crop of Barack Obama-wannabes promises to set new spending records. Democrats are in a nuclear debt race. Insanity rules. So if there is one winner that comes out of this debate, it is gold. My advice if you want to save yourself: Buy gold, buy gold and buy more gold. Throughout history, gold protects against reckless irresponsible politicians and debt crisis.
That is the only solution I can think of to protect us from these madmen and madwomen of the Democratic Party. The policies they are promising can only lead to economic collapse, dollar collapse and what promises to be the worst debt crisis in world history. If any of these Democrats are elected, we’ll look back fondly on the Greece debt crisis as “the good old days.”
Those are the three clear-cut winners of the first Democratic presidential debate: Bernie, Joe Biden and gold.
The losers? The American people, capitalism and sanity.
And that sound you just heard? That was the Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves.
Now to a few questions that should have been asked at that debate (if the media really cared about truth and fairness):
  1. Are you a progressive or a socialist? And please explain in detail the difference.
  2. Do you agree there is a problem at the border with Mexico, and is it possible that radical Muslim terrorists are walking right into America?
  3. Is it fair and affordable to give $3,000 “earned income tax credit” checks to illegal aliens, often crediting them for years before they even entered the country, while saddling honest law-abiding taxpayers with higher tax rates to pay the bill?
  4. Should politicians be allowed to break the law? If not, then do you support “sanctuary cities” and should the mayors of those cities be prosecuted?
  5. Why won’t Obama use the words “Islam” and “terrorist” in the same sentence, and will you? (America is dying to hear your answer.)
  6. Obama spent 20 years with Jeremiah Wright as his pastor and spiritual adviser. Only days ago, Wright told a crowd at a Black Lives Matter rally in Washington, D.C., that “Jesus was a Palestinian” and Israel’s taking the land of Palestinians was one of “great injustices of 20th and 21st centuries.” Do you agree or disagree?
  7. When Obama sold Obamacare by saying, “If you like your insurance and doctor, you can keep your insurance and doctor,” wasn’t that a lie and should a politician be held accountable for fraud? If not, please explain why a politician lying to sell his program is different from a private-sector CEO lying to sell his product?
  8. What do you say to millions of small-business owners and middle-class Americans whose health insurance rates have skyrocketed to the point of crippling and bankrupting them, when they were promised by Obama that rates would go way down? Do you owe them an apology? Or do you stand by the theory that prices have gone down?
  9. Are we winning or losing the war against ISIS? (The American people can’t wait for this answer.)
  10. Democrats claim the economy is “in recovery” under Obama. Does the fact that the Federal Reserve just refused to raise interest rates one-fourth of a point above zero for the 55th straight meeting indicate the economy is strong or very weak 7½ years after Obama took office?
  11. Democrats claim jobs are “robust” under Obama. Does 94 million working-age Americans not working indicate the economy is “recovering” or in serious decline and dysfunction?
  12. George W. Bush added $4 trillion in debt in his eight years in office. Obama, the candidate, called that “unpatriotic.” By the time Obama leaves office, he’ll have added about $12 trillion (three times more) and more debt than all other presidents in history combined. Isn’t that three times more unpatriotic? Or is debt different when added by Democrats versus Republicans?
  13. Hillary was secretary of state while her Clinton Foundation accepted billions of dollars in bribes — I mean donations — from foreign governments and then awarded contracts and awards to those same governments. Is that legal in your minds? Could that be construed as selling her office? Could you understand someone seeing that as treason? What would you say if a Republican accepted billions of dollars in donations from foreign governments while secretary of state?
  14. And finally, one bonus question just for Hillary: The media asked very intrusive questions about Donald Trump’s private life, so we’d like to ask a specific question on the minds of millions of Americans about your marriage, Hillary. After hearing about all the women over the years who have had affairs with your husband Bill — and the more recent news about his trips with a known sex offender friend to Orgy Island — wouldn’t you agree that someone suffering from battered wife syndrome should seek counseling rather than run for president of the United States?
Now those are questions that might have turned a snoozefest into an interesting and revealing debate.
I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty®. See you next week. God bless America.

Idiot Students Should Be Studying History Rather Than Protesting A Founding Father!

University students emotionally disturbed by statue of founding father

Thomas Jefferson recently came under attack by University of Missouri (Mizzou) students who want a statue of the founding father removed from their campus because it makes them feel oppressed.
Students at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) have repeatedly covered a statue of Thomas Jefferson with post-it notes that include insults like, “Racist,” “Rapist,” “Abuser,” “Sexist,” and “Slave Owner.”
The statue, located on the east side of the Francis Quadrangle, has been covered in post-it notes several times even after some students removed the notes.
The Missourian, Mizzou’s on-campus newspaper, reported that the statue was a gift from the Jefferson Club, which consists of a board of trustees and donors. The club donated the statue in 2000 to commemorate Jefferson and the history of Mizzou.
According to The Missourian, grad student Maxwell Little created a petition in August which said “The Thomas Jefferson statue that sits on the quad of the University of Missouri campus delivers a nonverbal code” that affects him “emotionally and psychologically.” The petition says the statue must be removed in order to “project a progressive environment.”
While the petition gained little support, Maxwell teamed with several students to create the hashtag #PostYourStateOfMind to “engage people in a critical conversation about sexual assault and racism.”
Bryant Hill, another student involved in the creation of the initiative said in an interview with The Missourian, that they weren’t trying to “completely shove that down anybody’s throat, but just the idea of open dialogue and becoming more knowledgeable about the situation is important.”
Little’s petition talks about everything you might expect— Jefferson’s slave ownership, his views about how abolition would create chaos and, yes, Sally Hemings— arguing that the university’s embrace of the statue equates tacit support for rape, slavery and oppression.
“Removing Jefferson’s statue alone will not eliminate the racial problems we face in America today, but it will help cure the emotional and psychological strain of history,” the petition argues.
What the conversation about the “emotional and psychological strain of history” would be like today if Jefferson and other men like him had never existed on this continent, we probably don’t want to imagine.
