American Justice--Mob Style

If you want to be disgusted, view the twitter account @killzimmerman and what you will find is a sickening display of humanity pretending to be rational. The tweeters want the same justice given black men in the old South before the Civil Rights Movement. Unless and until someone in moral authority (who must be on the left as they will disregard anyone from the conservative viewpoint) speaks against this rush to mob-rule judgement, this situation is only going to get worse.

Spike Lee, Reverend Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the other race baiters who would not wait for the body to be buried  before they were demanding that Zimmerman be arrested (or killed as in the twitter account) even though the states attorney had ruled there was not enough evidence for a conviction.

Additionally, the media and the Zimmerman-haters are using the angelic photo of Trayvon Martin. We find out he was far from a good kid as he had multiple suspensions from school,  was over 6 foot and had gold capped teeth and lots of tattoos. Now none of this proves that he was victim or instigator. However, it is interesting that the use of the youthful picture in the media and by those who want "justice" for him, is far different from reality. Is there a reason? We think so.

We also wonder why Zimmerman is being called a  "white hispanic!"  A what?  We never have seen this race category on any form we have ever completed. The Census used hispanic, non-white, black, Asian or Caucasion but never white hispanic.  It has been reported that Mr. Zimmerman is part white and part hispanic, so is that where they are coming up with this category?  So if an Asian marries a hispanic are we now to call them Asian-hispanic? Can you imagine the confusion that will result when a child is the product of multiple racial marriages?  We could see Asian-black-Hispanic-Haitian-white! Or will the public only hear white?

Lastly, their son is not even buried and the parents copyright slogans that can be used on t-shirts.  Why are they so fast to jump on the gravy train?

None of this adds up and it feels unreal. Is this situation being manipulated by someone or some group, for some reason. Obviously, we do not know what that reason is, however, we assume that by November it will be abundantly clear.

  1. I agree with everything you wrote. See, we do agree sometimes! I would add that all this hysteria and media coverage is going to make it harder to get an unbiased jury if the case goes to trial. In particular, all this personal information circulating about both of them is potentially prejudicial and would be inadmissible in court ("Objection your honor -- irrelevant."). But everybody not living under a rock has already been exposed to it.

Is Obama a "Kenyan-white"? We really are still crazy in this country whenever anything racial comes up. I wish both sides would chill and just let the investigation go whereever the evidence leads.

  2. I find myself just "tired" of the self made victims and I am not talking about anyone who is associated first person with this case. I am tired of those who stir a calm pot and make everyone mad for their own gain. More people will die because of Sharpton, Jackson, Lee and all of the others outspoken and / or remaining quiet. I find it shameful and criminal that the President remains quiet with the Black Panthers bounty and all the cries for death. I find it criminal and shameful the way media portrays both Zimmerman and Martin, out of context and truth. I am old enough to remember when reporters reported instead of glorified and added to the news. I remember when facts were facts, truth was truth and if you didn’t know them, you did not report them.
