Donald Trump has never been shy about getting publicity and today he did it again and we are proud of what he is doing. For those of you who do not know, The Donald has offered the President $5 million payable to any charity he designates after Obama releases his long form birth certificate and ALL of his college records. This is an interesting challenge!
For those of us who are American citizens and went to school here in the US, it would not take more than 24 hours to come up with our records, especially if we were the President. So giving Obama a week to do so, seems very generous.
On the other hand, if one wanted to hide your past from the American citizenry, you would do what we expect the White House to say something like "we have given out the records before and we see no reason at this time to do so."
There will be charges of "birther-ism" and racism but all could be put to rest with a data dump of these normally public records. The sad part is that the more Obama and crew delay and fight the release of these documents, the more credence that is given to the fact that there is something to hide. If there is not a conspiracy, give Trump the information he requested and the issue will die quickly.
A friend mentioned to me that maybe Trump already has the records and when October 31 comes and no information is provided by the Administration, he will release the real documents. It would be interesting to see how quickly the Dems would scream about invasion of privacy while this Administration is doing the same to private citizens daily.
Oh yes, it is going to be fun watching the White House spar with Trump. We think that Don will win, what about you?
