Obama To Issue Executive Orders Against Gun Ownership

On December 19, 2012, we told you how Obama would institute gun control by Administrative action on his part. Today, the Vice President admitted as such! The story and video is attached to this posting.

For those of you who think that Conservative Tom is a nut case, a pessimist or a conspiracy quack, look up the posting "The President's Gun Control Plan" at http://political-conservatives.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-presidents-gun-control-plan.html you will see that we called this one right!  More of our predictions will come true as we understand this bunch of hooligans that pose to be leaders of our country.

It isn't taking long to change this country dramatically. These changes will be done by  Obama's latest nominees. They all are Administration suck-ups who will do the President's bidding ala Susan Rice who took a bullet for him by misleading the press and the country in the Benghazi affair.

He will be taking extra-ordinary unconstitutional actions throughout his next four years.  We will see steps taken that would have impeached any other president. However, he is protected whether it is bravado or the Clinton experience he knows that even if the House prepares and passes a bill of Impeachment, the Senate NEVER will convict. In other words, he has a free rein.

Expect the unexpected and you will not be surprised. This is going to be a very bumpy ride. You will not be able to think the way we used to nor will we be able to follow the laws that exist today. What was good will be bad and what was abhorrent will be acceptable. Rich people will be despised and poor people honored.  Improving yourself will be discouraged and bringing others down exemplified. Life in the US is about to change dramatically.

Be scared, be very scared.

BIDEN: OBAMA MAY USE ‘EXECUTIVE ORDERS’ TO CRACK DOWN ON GUNS

Joe Biden Claims President Obama May Use Executive Orders on Guns

Earlier today, Vice President Joe Biden addressed the ongoing discussion and debate surrounding gun control. Rather than relying strictly upon the legislative process, he said that Obama “is going to act” — and potentially without Congress’ blessing.
Before meeting with gun safety and victims’ groups, the vice president told reporters that “executive orders” may be an avenuethat the administration will use to take swift action on firearms.
“There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken,” he said. “We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”
As the Weekly Standard notes, Biden stressed the importance, in his view, of taking action to curb gun violence. He also said that he is convinced that the government “can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way” — pending officials “act responsibly.”
Even if Obama attempts to take unilateral action, Biden indicated that legislation is still “required.”

  1. You wrote, "For those of you who think that Conservative Tom is a nut case, a pessimist or a conspiracy quack, look up the posting….you will see that we called this one right!"

Okay, so I did look up your posting from December 19. Here are the three specific things you predicted:

    1. "He will call the FBI and order them to increase the fee for gun background checks to around $10,000."

    2. "The fee will be something like $500 per gun per year. Who would pay the fee for a gun that cost them $800?"

    3. "This is what we can expect in the next couple months from the "dictator."

None of these things will happen. ZERO probability. Wanna bet $20 on any of this? The bet would be payable on February 19, 2013, but I'll give you more time if you want.

Nah, as I said, you don't really believe this "Obama will confiscate all the guns" paranoia.

  2. David, listen to what Biden says.He was not specific but if he was and his plans are near what my predictions are, he would bring the house down on his head.

He may not be the smartest but he did tell us that it would be by Executive Order.

Just wait and be patient and not so dismissive.

  3. You won't have to wait long, because he will make his recommendations next Tuesday.

There won't be any $10,000 fee for a background check, or a $500 annual fee for every gun you own. These things are utterly ridiculous!

I don't expect there will be anything in his recommendations that a majority of Americans in the public opinion polls don't support.

  4. Ok then David, what will he say, what will he order?

  5. I don't have a crystal ball, but I can sure as heck predict that there won't be any $10,000 fee for a background check or $500 annual fee on every gun owned. These things are just WAY outside of possible. ZERO probability. No prescience needed for those predictions.

  6. After doing a little more reading on this, it appears that the two most likely things Biden will recommend are (1) background checks on all gun buyers, and (2) a limit of 10 bullets per magazine.

I couldn't find anybody except you -- and certainly no national political figure -- talking about $10,000 fee for the background check or $500 annual fee per gun. These things are just a figment of your imagination, which you will discover on Tuesday.

  7. Of course you are not going to read anything in the news about my suggestion, they don't want the pro-gun people time to do damage!

My point is that there will be higher fees for background checks and a national registration of weapons. The actual numbers were examples NOT Guarantees!

If you are thinking that I am changing my position, I am not. I am clarifying.

  8. You certainly are changing your position. You position -- illustrated by your "examples" of the $10,000 background fee and $500 annual registration fee -- is that Obama will make an executive order that will make gun ownership prohibitively costly for most people to own a gun.

Now you are backing off, merely predicting some "higher" ($5, $20, etc.?) background fee and national registration, neither of which would stop anybody from buying a gun.

  9. David, quit demeaning what I am saying. I am not saying a $5 fee--quite being ridiculous. It will be an onerous fee, one that no one would ever pay. You keep focusing on the $10,000 number but I was using that as an example of what I thought was onerous.

    ReplyDelete
  10. So give me a number. How high does the fee have to go for you to begin calling it "onerous"? If not $10,000, then maybe $1,000 or $500, or $100? Where do you draw the line on "onerous"?

From what I read, the exec order will deal mostly with administrative items like national database and universal background checks, which already have wide public support. The onerous fees are not going to happen.

    --David

    ReplyDelete
  11. We will see. Anything above $1000 and an annual fee over $50 would be onerous. Would you pay either of these?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Personally, I would not do it. I already have all the guns I will ever need.

If I were a single woman with a good-paying job, I might do it. It would depend on how safe she feels without it.
