We have been disapproving of GOP leadership for quite some time.  Now, the Pew Research poll confirms our beliefs.  Seems to me, we are a pretty good baramoter!!

Poll: Tea Party dissatisfaction with GOP leaders spikes

By Mario Trujillo 09/11/13 03:42 PM ET
More than 7 in 10 Tea Party-affiliated Republicans disapprove of the GOP’s leadership, a marked rise from earlier this year.
A Pew Research poll released Wednesday finds that 71 percent of Republicans and independents who support the Tea Party disapprove of Republican leadership, while 27 percent approve.
That is a 17 percent increase since February, when a similar survey found 54 percent of those Tea Party supporters disapproved of the leadership and 42 percent approved.
Among Republicans who don’t support the Tea Party, 42 percent approve of the GOP leadership.
Members of Congress have returned from their August recess after a number of high-profile Republicans actively campaigned to force GOP leaders to tie the defunding of ObamaCare to any plan to fund the government.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) led the charge during the break. Yet many in the party have come out against the plan and remain wary that voters would blame Republicans for a potential government shutdown.
On Wednesday, GOP leaders in the House delayed a measure that aimed to placate members seeking a vote on President Obama’s healthcare law.
More conservative members have scoffed at the plan, which would force a vote in Congress to defund ObamaCare but would also allow members to vote on a clean funding bill.
The Pew results mirror a survey released last month that found 53 percent of Tea Party supporters say congressional Republicans have compromised too much.
Within the Republican Party and right-leaning independents, 35 percent approve of the Tea Party and 9 percent disapprove. The majority, 54 percent, has no opinion.
Pew surveyed 657 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. The poll's margin of error is 4.5 percentage points.
