McCain: Iran Will Lie and Cheat Their Way Through Geneva Deal
AZ Sen.: Admin focusing on Iranian nuke program yet does nothing about Syria
BY:
Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) cautioned against trusting Iran to fully comply with the terms of the Geneva deal Monday on CBS.
McCain said guaranteeing any implicit “right to enrich” is a “serious mistake” considering the rogue regime’s track record.
Moreover, McCain pointed out the Obama administration is focusing all of its attention on Iran’s nuclear program and yet doing nothing about the country’s nefarious activities in Syria:
JOHN MCCAIN: […] Returning to an arms control issue which is important and ignoring the regional conflict, Iran’s client, five thousand Hezbollah killing Syrians as we speak, Iranian arms are flowing into Syria, Iranian Revolutionary Guard is in Syria, killing Syrians. We do nothing about that. Nothing.
NORAH O’DONNELL: What about the news over the weekend that Iran is allowing inspectors into this nuclear plant? That’s a significant development.
MCCAIN: Yes. And they have led inspectors in plants in the past while other plants are being built and tunnels are being dug into mountains. Look, don’t trust, but verify.
