More Examples Of The Loving Muslims And Their Respect For Non-Muslims

Christian girl raped, beaten and sold into
slavery because of her faith

TANIA RUBECCA

Tania Rubecca is a Christian girl in Pakistan, who was kidnapped by Muslims. She was walking to her uncle's house one day, when a car drove by. Inside were a number of men and her Muslim friend, Rehana, who then offered her a ride to her uncle's home. As soon as she got in, the Muslim men began to coerce her, and when she resisted, they threatened to kill her.

They placed toxic powder in her eyes and beat her without mercy. The Muslim gang then called Tania's mother just to let her know that her daughter would now be a slave and that she was going to be sold. They sold her into slavery; her two masters raped her repeatedly and beat her severely. The torture did not end; it only became more sadistic. They tied her to a tree and anally raped her over and over again. They then lacerated her flesh with knives and burnt her body with cigarettes. They did not do this once but numerous times, taking great pleasure in it. These Muslim men were excited in their diabolical cruelty to ravish and bring pain to a Christian girl.

As if this was not evil enough, Tania's masters actually used rape as a means to force her into Islam. When our team interviewed her, she described her torment: "My life became miserable and I used to pray for death. My life became hell."

Tania found some hope in the words of an NGO, which told her they were going to take up her case. They interviewed her and she recounted her heinous experience. They then took her story and used it to obtain funds from sympathetic donors. But that was it. They got their money, only to leave the brutalized girl in her misery.

As this was taking place, Tania's family was frantically searching all over for her; they searched and searched, but she could not be found. They were lucky to track Muhammad Zafar, one of Tania's masters, through his cell phone’s SIM card.

But when Robert (Tania's brother) went to Dera Ghazi Khan to find his tortured sister, Muhammad Zafar refused to reveal anything about her. However, with the intervention of a former mayor, Muhammad Khan Khachela, they were able to get the exact location of Tania. Muhammad Zafar said that if they "are able to pay us 95,000 PKR we are ready to set Tania free." Muhammad Zafar also said that she was currently in the custody of two Muslim men named Khadim Hussain and Ismael.

Tania's family was at the highest peak of desperation and consternation. They frantically looked all over for her but the joy of their lives was not attained, and the capricious misery of not knowing what would happen, plagued their souls.

Tania’s mother did not have the money needed to buy her daughter back but as is innate within that divine side of mankind, human affection surpasses all material possessions.

Tania's mother put the family home up for lease and gained the money necessary to purchase back her daughter. Just imagine such a life for yourself, where you are faced with the prospect of losing your loved one, be it a daughter, a wife, a husband, or anyone else with that sublime familial connection.

When they came to buy their love-deprived daughter, they were then struck with another unendurable reality. Tania had been sold again, this time to two other Muslim men, named Atta Muhammad and Rub Nawaz. The former Mayor Khachela, demanded that they release the girl, but the barbarians refused, and a long and arduous struggle commenced. Tania's parents eventually had to pay that 95,000 PKR ($900 a large sum as the average wage in Pakistan is $200 per month) and it was only then that they finally were able to embrace their terrorized daughter.

The culprits were never brought to justice, and even when there was an appeal to have the slave masters punished, the police did not lift a finger against her tormenters.

Rescue Christians came along and actually did something substantial for Tania and her family. The organization provided her the money to have her medically treated for her wounds, a home, a monthly stipend, and legal help. Tania recalls the most relieving aspect of the help she received from Rescue Christians:

"I was barbarically treated but nobody helped us until our brothers (Rescue Christians) began helping us in every possible way. I am really thankful to them. Aside from them, my mother is my only support."

Tania's story is not the only one. There are countless examples of persecuted Christians being rescued by Rescue Christians...

"Rescue Christians is an amazing organization that walks the walk not just talk the talk, they deserve our support" - Joseph Farah, president and founder of WND.

RYAN STANTON

Ryan Stanton was a Christian teenager in Pakistan who was falsely accused of blasphemy.

Immediately upon the breaking news of this case, our Pakistan partners contacted us about the possibility of our helping, which we immediately agreed to. At about the same time, a Muslim mob was hatching its plans to find Ryan and probably murder him before the police had a chance to arrest him. The Christian community reached out to our brothers in Pakistan and before the police arrived our people in Pakistan rescued him. Within thirty minutes of getting off the phone with me (Keith Davies, Executive Director Rescue Christians) our partners reached the house and they moved them overnight to a safer location in Karachi. The next day, early in the morning, they moved them to Hyderabad which is 150 KM away from Karachi.

On October 10, 2012, at 10:30 A.M, a Muslim mob ransacked Ryan’s home and burned everything that the family possessed. Our people only just managed to rescue the family before the mob arrived; it was a miracle.

The case was reported by the national news in Pakistan. Over a period of three months, our team kept the family moving from one location to the next.

Our people in Pakistan provided them safe houses with the resources provided by Rescue Christians. This was a very dangerous situation for our people, as they were hiding Ryan and his family from both the Government authorities and from the Radical extremists. Two of the banned Islamic Groups announced their Fatwa against Ryan Stanton. On January 25th, the search by the police and the extremists intensified and we knew that we had to move Ryan out of the country as quickly as possible. Ryan had been put on the "ATC" (Anti Terrorist Court). How upside down is that? Searches and interrogations of Ryan’s relatives were now happening. His relatives were clueless about the whereabouts of Ryan and his family, which was good for both them and our people.

It was really a very disturbing situation, however, we decided that we would do whatever it took to get him out of the country.

We were able to secure the ability – through private negotiations – to discreetly have Ryan taken out of Pakistan. Our team in Pakistan requested the resources to fly Ryan out and we quickly sent the money to acquire the necessary airline tickets and assets for travel. We could not have done this unless we had the generous support from our donors in the USA and around the world.

Ryan is now safe in a non-Muslim country and we hope to secure refugee status for him over the next few months.

"I admire the brave stand of the people of Rescue Christians in these hostile situations. They are righteous souls who have stood up to the expectations of not only the afflicted Christians of Pakistan, but have earned a place of honor among the entire Christian community of Pakistan" – Anglican Bishop of Karachi Dr. Ijaz Inayat Masih.

SHAMA NASIR

On August 22, 2013, three Pakistani Muslim men – Umar Saghar, Muhammad Kashif and Shahid Nazir – abducted Shama Nasir, a fifteen year-old girl. A few days before this incident occurred, these three men visited her father, Nasir Masih, and asked him to embrace Islam, which he refused instantly. Then, on that fateful day, when Nasir Masih was at work, they entered the house and beat his wife and children before kidnapping Shama.

That night, Nasir Masih – along with some local Christians – went to the police station to register a complaint against Umar Saghar, Muhammad Kashif and Shahid Nazir. However, instead of taking their application, the police stated that his daughter Shama had embraced Islam and was married to Umar Saghar. The police humiliated Nasir Masih and other Christians, threatening to put them in jail if they came back.

Nasir Masih went to several Christian NGOs and Churches to help him to rescue his daughter but no help was provided. Soon thereafter, Nasir Masih contacted us through one of the previous victims we had helped. On September 9th, we investigated the matter. We engaged with some of the influential Muslims through our Lawyers to help us rescue the young girl. After two days of meetings with Muslim Clerics and influential political persons, we were able to rescue Shama Nasir from Umar Saghar.

Initially, Umar Saghar refused to hand Shama over, stating that "she is my wife now and I will not return her." Some of the Muslim Clerics who backed Umar also stated that "she is Muslim now and you cannot take her back."

However, our team and a Muslim friend pressured Umar and Muslim Cleric Qari Aslam to bring the girl to the meeting to ask her if she accepts being a Muslim and prefers to remain the husband of Umar. Then this matter would immediately be finished.

On the evening of September 11th – as soon as she saw her father – Shama began shouting requests that she be rescued from Umar, saying she did not accept Islam and that Umar had forcibly put her thumb print on various legal papers." Shama also said – in front of everyone – "I want to go with my father."

Our lawyer warned Umar that if he would come after the minor girl again then he would take serious action against him. Our lawyer also stated that we will have Shama undergo a medical checkup and if she was sexually assaulted then we will also file a case of abduction and rape. As Umar and his companions left, they made threats against our people. Our team on the ground in Pakistan then moved Shama and her father to Lahore City for their protection from Umar and his companions.

We sent Shama for a medical and DNA report. We have also filed the application in the Court for registering a FIR (criminal complaint) against Umar and his associates. However, according to Shama, she stated that Umar raped and tortured her many times. We hope that this minor Christian girl will get justice.

"Rescue Christians are making outstanding efforts for the Persecuted Church in Pakistan, we highly appreciate their incredible courage" – Archbishop of Lahore Sebastian Shaw.

Above are just three cases of dozens we have dealt with over the last two years. The violence and hatred towards Christians in Pakistan is growing each year.
