Media Matters (Liberal) Prospers As Patrick Henry(Conservative) Is Shut Down By IRS. Is There A Pattern Here?.

IRS Caught Red Handed Giving Liberal Group Unfair Advantage

Screen Shot 2014-04-24 at 11.26.48 PMThe IRS has been in the news quite a bit lately.
Just a few days ago, Judicial Watch recovered emails showing top-level IRS agent Lois Lerner had been attempting to use the Department of Justice to deny small conservative groups tax exempt status.
And Monday, USA Today pointed out a recent IRS document that denied yet another conservative group tax exempt status based on two articles that were written back in 2004 and 2005.
The Patrick Henry Center For Individual Liberty had operated for years as a 501(3)(c). But its non-profit status was yanked because of two articles written by members of the board that appeared to be critical of John Kerry and Hillary Clinton.
According to Freebeacon:
The IRS said it revoked Patrick Henry’s tax-exempt status because it “has shown a pattern of deliberate and consistent intervention in political campaigns” and made “repeated statements supporting or opposing various candidates by expressing its opinion of the respective candidate’s character and qualifications.”
And yet the extremely left-leaning organization Media Matters, which is owned by the billionaire businessman George Soros, hasn’t been docked its 501(3)(c) status despite having thousands upon thousands of highly inflammatory and partisan articles on their website.
As reported by WND.com:
However, even a cursory review reveals that Media Matters has for years published countless articles that blatantly attempt “intervention in political campaigns” and support or oppose candidates.
When called out on the issue, there has been no admission of wrongdoing on the part of either the IRS or anyone else involved in the seemingly controversial actions.
In fact, it even appears that the IRS is attempting to change all the laws on the matter so that targeted attacks on groups who run counter to their collective owners’ interests become regular and routine.
Obama won’t admit there’s any corruption going on.
Neither will the Department of Justice, or any other government entity run by liberals.
It’s clear the corruption is continuing, but what remains unclear is… what will it take to stop it?
