Is Obama AntiSemitic? Stupid? Or A Combination?

Barack Obama’s critics have been smeared for five and a half years as racists because they criticize and oppose the policies of America’s first black president.
If that’s reasonable, one must ask the following question in light of Obama’s refusal to defend Israel’s response to Hamas’ attack on the Jewish state with more than 5,000 rockets: Is Obama an anti-Semite?
Let’s look at the evidence.
What are the principal claims of Hamas and Hezbollah? They call for the destruction of the state of Israel and the murder of every Jew in it because, they say, it is an illegitimate nation.
Obama didn’t spell out specifically what the “legitimate claims” of Hamas and Hezbollah were, but what unites them both is their non-negotiable, genocidal campaigns against Israel. And they share a primary sponsor in Iran, whose officials have repeatedly and unceasingly called for and threatened Israel’s very existence.
Since becoming president, Obama has promoted Middle East policies that suggest his “legitimate claims” remark was not a slip of the tongue. His State Department officials have often characterized Hamas and Hezbollah as “resistance” movements rather than bloodthirsty terrorists pledged to complete the job Adolf Hitler started.
Was the “legitimate claims” remark ever explained? No. Was it ever repudiated? No. Was it ever clarified? No. Has any reporter ever had the opportunity or inclination to ask him what he meant about those “legitimate claims” – even as conflict raging between Hamas and Israel takes center stage among the world’s top crises? No.
It’s worth mentioning that Obama attended a church for 20 years that published and disseminated Hamas’ manifesto defending terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group’s official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America’s Declaration of Independence. The piece, written by Hamas political director Mousa Abu Marzook, was printed on Jeremiah Wright’s “Pastor’s Page” of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter.
But maybe Obama had something else in mind when he referred to the “legitimate claims” of Hamas and other terrorist groups. Perhaps he was referring to the certifiably insane conspiracy theories promulgated by the group.

“For a long time, the enemies have been planning, skillfully and with precision, for the achievement of what they have attained,” states Article 22 of the charter. “They took into consideration the causes affecting the current of events. They strived to amass great and substantive material wealth which they devoted to the realization of their dream. With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein. They were behind the French Revolution, the Communist revolution and most of the revolutions we heard and hear about, here and there. With their money they formed secret societies, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, the Lions and others in different parts of the world for the purpose of sabotaging societies and achieving Zionist interests. With their money they were able to control imperialistic countries and instigate them to colonize many countries in order to enable them to exploit their resources and spread corruption there.”
The section goes on to suggest the Zionists were also behind World War I, the League of Nations, World War II and the United Nations.
“All these organizations, whether secret or open, work in the interest of Zionism and according to its instructions,” the charter states. “They aim at undermining societies, destroying values, corrupting consciences, deteriorating character and annihilating Islam. It [Zionism] is behind the drug trade and alcoholism in all its kinds so as to facilitate its control and expansion.”
More well-known, perhaps, is the institutionalized anti-Semitic strain that runs throughout Hamas ideology – including its charter. It doesn’t just call for the destruction of Israel, it calls for the killing of all Jews.
“Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious,” says the charter. “It needs all sincere efforts. It is a step that inevitably should be followed by other steps. The Movement is but one squadron that should be supported by more and more squadrons from this vast Arab and Islamic world, until the enemy is vanquished and Allah’s victory is realized.”
The charter then goes on to quote a hadith, or narrative of Muhammad: “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.”
The charter also equates the Jews with the Nazis, who waged an extermination campaign against them.
Perhaps those are the “legitimate claims” to which Obama was referring?
When a Missouri Senate candidate named Todd Akin used the term “legitimate rape” in a local TV interview in St. Louis in August 2012, the next day Obama called a White House press conference to savage him mercilessly for suggesting the phrase made any sense. It’s been six years since Obama said Hamas and Hezbollah, two of the most notoriously bloody terrorist groups in the world, had “legitimate claims.”
Which of those statements do you find more egregious and worrisome?
Akin was accused by Obama of being a part of a “war on women” for that comment.
With that pretext, would it not be fair to say that Obama, with his efforts to mainstream Hamas and Hezbollah as organizations with “legitimate claims” is leading a war on the Jews?
