What Happens When US No Longer Supports Israel?

The United States government, mainly in the name of Barack Hussein Obama, is rapidly leaving Israel to protect its own interests which do not include the Jewish state.  It is clear from the disagreements over Hamas, the stoppage of flights to Ben Gurion, the interruption of military arms during Operation Protective Edge to name a few, America is no longer a steadfast friend of Israel.

Christians, Jews and others who support Israel can no longer be comfortable that the US government is one that will always have her back. The Jewish State must find other "friends" who will supply it with military and financial aid when the US abandons her, When that time comes, and it will, Israel must be ready to jump ship.

Additionally, for those religious people who might read this, you should also understand that when the US abandons Israel, it will also come against all religious people. We have already seen the government taking action against the Catholic church in the case of mandating abortion and contraceptives as well as well meaning businesses who refuse to support gay marriage. Who would have ever thought that the government would take these actions?  This is just the prelude, worse, more onerous actions are on the horizon.

When government becomes G-d, it has to do away with G-d.  The best way is to delegitimize religion. How do you do this?  By making religion hard to practice. You bring lawsuits, you require outrageous religious concessions, you tax the income and the property of religions, you do away with benefits the religious leaders gets i.e. parsonage, and you require that religious organizations  meet the requirements of other organizations such as mandatory continuing education which would be written by the state, not the religion, including but not limited to gender, trans-gender, marriage. You see the trend.

Before long a Church or Temple or Synagogue will not be able to pay its bills or pay its clergy and the State will confiscate it.  How long before all religious organizations (other than Muslims) will no longer exist.

Many of you will be saying, "Oh, that Conservative Tom has gone around the bend, again."  We hope so, but there is one thing we know about government, it never has enough power or money. If the government can insist that Catholic organizations provide birth control,  can anything else be sacred?

It does not matter what the Constitution says about the Freedom of Religion, the government will say "everyone still can worship as they want".  It will not matter that the Church or Synagogue you want to worship at is no longer in business or has now been taken by the government. Hey, you can travel 30 miles to SYZ church!

Once the government no longer supports Israel, the ONLY democracy in the Middle East where all religions can practice freely, where gay, bi and transgender people are not harassed, where women have the same rights as men, how long will it take for it to turn its eyes on these groups here.  We already see religion in the sights, who will be next?

The US administration disagrees with PM Netanyahu’s statement that Hamas poses as deep a threat to the West as does Islamic State.
Israel urges restraint
State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki.
Speaking to journalists following Netanyahu’s speech Monday at the United Nations, in which he said that Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL or IS) and Hamas are “branches of the same poisonous tree.” State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki acknowledged that both are terrorist organizations, but added:
“We don’t believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu or anyone else from Israel is suggesting that the United States launch a military campaign against Hamas, so we certainly – they are both designated terrorist organizations under the United States designations, but certainly we see differences – in terms of the threat and otherwise.”
“Obviously, we’ve designated both as terrorist organizations, but ISIL poses a different threat to Western interests and to the United States. And that’s just a fact,” she asserted.

Open Disagreement with Israel on UN Human Rights Council

Regarding Netanyahu’s characterization of the UN Human Rights Council as a Terrorists’ Human Rights Council,” Psaki disagreed with that statement as well.
“We have obviously voiced concerns when we have them about actions that are taken, but no, we would certainly not agree with that characterization,” she stated.
“We don’t see the need for heated rhetoric. But obviously there are times when we certainly agree, and we’veexpressed concerns in the past as well about the same organization and how they operate.”
Most recently, the Israeli leader slammed the UNHRC as a “kangaroo court” for its investigation into alleged Israeli war crimes during Operation Protective Edge.
