URGENT: State Dept Threatens to ARREST Journalist for Reporting This About Obama

(Conservative Tribune) Freedom of the press is one of the cornerstones of American democracy. And much like other American virtues, the Obama administration isn’t exactly fond of it.
A reporter with the conservative-leaning Washington Free Beacon was ejected and threatened with arrest during a Department of State press conference in Vienna. The briefing was on the topic of the Obama administration’s concessions to Iran in the recent P5+1 negotiations, clearly a sensitive subject for the administration.
While the reporter had been credentialed by the Austrian authorities, two State Department officials still booted him from the room where Wendy Sherman was briefing reporters on the Iranian concessions.
Adam Kredo, the Free Beacon reporter, was approached by Melissa Turley, a State Department official, and bluntly told to leave the room.
“You’re not registered with the U.S. press,” Turley said after Kredo pointed out that he was credentialed. “You have a press pass from the (European Union), not from me.”
“I’m going to have to get security,” another State Department official said, according to the Free Beacon.
While the State Department had hoped that ejecting a conservative source would fly under the radar (and reduce coverage of the ever-growing list of concessions by the Obama administration to Iran), that plan quickly went to pot after Kredo tweeted about it.

Whoops!
Turley tried to mitigate damage, releasing an email saying, “‎The State Dept-hosted background briefings ‎are for reporters traveling with Secretary Kerry and those who are members of the State Dept Press Corps, who are from outlets credentialed to attend the daily press briefings in Washington, D.C.”
However, one unnamed source in Vienna was quoted as saying, “if this is what they’re already doing to reporters, to journalists trying to report on the concessions they’re making to the Iranians, imagine how bad things will get when the congressional debate over the deal begins.”
And imagine how bad it’s going to be when the American people finally find out just how much the Obama administration has given to the Iranians.
