Politics: Cain's presidential ratings

And now there are 21!
Governor John Kasich of Ohio is the latest declared candidate. We would rate him "A" for vision and "A" for substance, because of his record of achievements as governor of Ohio. We grade him a "C"for perception, because despite his achievements and congressional experience, with all due respect, he lacks a compelling personality. He can't change that nor should he try, but like it or not, personality and popularity are the only traits some voters use to make their voting decisions.
Most people outside of Ohio don't know him. As a result, we rate his overall appeal as a presidential candidate a "B".
As discussed earlier, the Republicans do not have any "bad for America" candidates. Some are just much better than others. The better ones, who survive the lens of the media, will rise to the top as the race for the nomination continues to unfold.
On the other hand, the Democrats have no "good for America" candidates running for the Democrat nomination. The reasons are simple. They all favor big government, more irresponsible spending, more taxes, redistribution of people's income, and controlling more of people's everyday lives. They might say it differently to disguise their intent, but it's all the same.
Remember, the media tends to highlight unimportant differences amongst the candidates of the same political party, and explode differences between candidates from opposing parties. This is a distraction tactic to keep you confused, and to discourage some people from paying attention at all.
As a result, we have non-voters, dumb voters, single-issue voters, personality voters, identity politics voters and informed voters. Unfortunately, the truly informed voters are the smallest group. This is because people don't have a lot of time to become truly informed, so they depend on their most frequently watched, read or listened to media source to influence their voting decisions.
