Why Liberals Won’t Touch This School Killing With a 29-Foot Poll

Liberals love to bang the ban the guns drum as soon as there’s a school shooting.

It’s their favorite kind of ammunition so to speak.

They feel like if people are gunned down in a school the only natural response is to cry out for the outright ban on guns.

Politicians grandstand on the bodies of the dead, thankful they have another story they can use to ban guns.

But what happens when the perpetrator uses a knife? Do they say anything then?

Of course not.

In this unfortunate story a young man dressed up in what students thought was a halloween costume and killed two at a school.

Western Journalism reports:

student and a teacher were killed and at least two others were injured in a school attack on Thursday in southwestern Sweden by a man wearing a Darth Vader like mask and wielding a sword.

The attack took place at the Kronan school’s cafe in Trollhatten approximately 10 a.m., a town of about 50,000 people. Some of the students in the school thought the masked man was playing a Halloween prank and actually posed for a picture with him.

The scene quickly changed when he stabbed and killed a male teacher with his sword. He went on to stab two other students, ages 11 and 15, and another male teacher. One of the students died from his injuries.

Police shot the assailant, who was taken to a local hospital and later died from his injuries. The attacker had no gun, but did possess an additional knife-like object.

“One of my friends walked over to him to challenge him, but when we saw he stabbed him [the teacher], we ran away,” 14 year-old Laith Alazze told local media the Associated Press reported.

“We were quite shocked, all of us,” added Edona, another pupil at the school. “We started to cry, we panicked,” she added.

“Just hours before the attack, the school had held a meeting to discuss teachers’ worries that the school was too open, with a cafe for adults that meant the school could not control who comes in, according to Swedish media,” according to the AP.

The school has approximately 400 students, ranging from preschool to high school.

Sweden’s prime minister, Stefan Lofven, planned to travel to Trollhattan on Thursday. He said it was a “black day for Sweden”.

“I think of the victims and their families, students and staff, and the whole of the affected community. No words can describe what they are going through right now. We must ensure that they receive all the support they need,” he said.

The story is tragic.

But what’s more tragic is how our politicians turn a blind eye on the real reason attacks like this happen.

The depravity of humankind.

It’s not nor has it ever been an issue concerning the kind of weapons used. It’s everything to do with the heart.
