Hebdo Gives Terrorism The Middle Finger

France’s Charlie Hebdo gives terrorists the finger

Charlie Hebdo’s staff isn’t going to let the bastards get them down anytime soon. The French satirical magazine, which was attacked by Islamic terrorists earlier in the year, has responded to the recent ISIS attacks on Paris with a strong message to terrorists everywhere.
The cover of this week’s edition of the Charlie Hebdo magazine features a Frenchman who, despite being riddled with bullets, is dancing merrily guzzling champagne.
Its headline announces: “They have arms. F–k them. We have the champagne!”

The publication’s message that terrorists won’t win by dampening their spirits and striking fear into their hearts is particularly strong considering this isn’t Charlie Hebdo’s first time dealing with Islamic radicals.
In January, 12 people were murdered at the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris because Muslims were upset that the magazine depicted the Prophet Muhammad on its cover with the caption “100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter.” Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula claimed responsibility for the attack.
The publication, which has published unholy illustrations of the Pope, Jesus Christ and various world religious and political figures, has come under attack at other points in the past. In 2006, the magazine published Danish cartoons depicting Muhammad with a bomb in his turban and one of him standing on a cloud, turning suicide bombers away from paradise saying, “Stop, stop, we ran out of virgins.” Islamic groups sued the publication in French court then, but lost.
