ISIS Is Nothing Like KKK Regardless To What The Dems Say

There’s a new analogy being used by prominent Muslims to undermine the legitimacy of the Islamic State’s claim to be Islamic.
Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., has been using it for months – and now it’s being picked up by others.
He said: “The Ku Klux Klan uses Christian rhetoric. They throw crosses around. But what person going to church on any given Sunday recognizes that as their faith? And so, that’s the same way that I believe that ISIS is Islamic.”
Ellison has a point.
The KKK has used Christian imagery, Christian symbols and even defenses of Christianity throughout its history. Adolf Hitler did so, too – when it was convenient. He alternatively distanced himself from Christianity by referring to it as a Jewish sect when it suited his purposes. Likewise, the trappings of Christianity were misused for centuries to oppress people, justify genocide, condone forced conversions and perpetrate unspeakable horrors.
But that’s where the similarities end.
Islam conquered the world using the same tactics ISIS is using today. The Islamic Empire was the largest in world history – bigger than Assyria, Babylon, Greece, Persia, Rome and Britain. It lasted longer than any of them. And it all started small and grew fast from ruthless “JV” beginnings.
Whether ISIS is an aberration of Islam is for Muslims to debate. The first question they should ask themselves is how it differs from the Islamic revolution that was launched by Muhammad in the seventh century.
Muhammad slaughtered those who rejected his new religion. His followers did the same.
Christianity began with a Jewish Messiah named Jesus, or Yeshua. He killed no one, though He gave His own life willingly to save the world. He preached love, forgiveness and offered grace. He told His followers to love their enemies. It took hundreds of years for the message to be twisted and distorted to the point where horrors were perpetrated in His name.
So there is a fundamental difference between true Christianity and true Islam. In fact, one could argue they are polar opposites, as were their inspirational figures.
Some, like Barack Obama and Keith Ellison, say Islam is actually a religion of peace and love and tolerance. If that’s true, where can we see it practiced today? In Saudi Arabia where women are subjugated, Bibles and churches banned, slavery flourishes and non-Muslims are forbidden even from visiting the “holy city”? In Iran where Christian evangelism is a state crime?
How many “Christian terrorist” organizations are there in the world? How many people are threatened by them? How many nations are under their spell or face destabilization at their hands?
Here are just a select few Islamic terrorist groups – besides ISIS:
  • Abu Sayyaf, Philippines
  • Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, Egypt
  • Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, Gaza Strip and West Bank
  • Al-Shabaab, Somalia
  • Al-Qaida, worldwide
  • Ansar al-Islam, Iraq
  • Armed Islamic Group (GIA), Algeria
  • Boko Haram, Nigeria
  • Caucasus Emirate (IK), Russia
  • East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), China
  • Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Egypt
  • Fatah, Palestinian Authority
  • Great Eastern Islamic Raiders’ Front (IBDA-C), Turkey
  • Hamas, Gaza Strip and West Bank
  • Harkat-ul-Mujahideen al-Alami, Pakistan
  • Hezbollah, Lebanon
  • Islamic Movement of Central Asia, Central Asia
  • Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan
  • Jaish-e-Mohammed, Pakistan and Kashmir
  • Jamaat Ansar al-Sunna, Iraq
  • Jemaah Islamiyah, Indonesia
  • Lashkar-e-Taiba, Pakistan and Kashmir
  • Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Pakistan
  • Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Philippines
  • Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group, Morocco and Europe
  • Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Gaza Strip and West Bank
  • Taliban, Afghanistan
  • Tawhid and Jihad, Iraq
Are these also aberrations of the true Islam? How so?
There’s one more thing I would like to say about the ISIS-KKK analogy. While the KKK is widely regarded by most everyone – and certainly all rational observers – as misrepresenting Christianity and the teachings of Jesus-Yeshua, the most famous Jew in history, it is beyond dispute that the KKK was founded as the military wing of one very specific political party.
It’s the party of Keith Ellison. It’s the party of Barack Obama. It’s the party of Hillary Clinton. It’s the Democratic Party.
While space does not permit a recounting of that ugly and undeniable history, the full story can be found in the recent book, “Black Yellow Dogs” by Ben Kinchlow.
In the interest of truth and full disclosure, anyone daring to link the KKK with Christianity should also be honest enough to deal with that very recent historical fact.
