A 50-year-old Israeli male was seriously wounded after being stabbed in his car near the West Bank village of Nabi Elias. He managed to drive toward the nearby Eliyahu Crossing, from where he was evacuated to Meir Hospital, Kfar Sava.
According to the Defense Ministry's initial investigation, the man was shopping in Nabi Elias and was stabbed in his car by two assailants while leaving.
The attack comes hours after five Israelis were wounded in a pair of car-ramming and stabbing attacks in the West Bank.


One Israeli was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack at the West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit, and four were wounded in a car-ramming attack at Tapuach Junction. The female assailant in the stabbing attack was shot and seriously wounded and the assailant in the car-ramming attack was shot and killed.
The stabbing attack occurred at the gate of the Beitar Illit settlement. The attacker stabbed and lightly wounded the security guard on duty before he managed to shoot the assailant.
"Paramedics and MDA paramedics treated a 20-year-old male who was lightly wounded in the attack," the MDA Spokesman said.

Two of the casualties in the earlier car-ramming attack were seriously wounded.One of the critically wounded is a 22-year-old man, currently in surgery. The third casualty, 21, was moderately wounded and the fourth was lightly wounded. A pregnant woman was lightly wounded after sustaining wounds to her stomach.
MDA reported that at 9:29 Sunday morning the car-ramming was reported in the West Bank at the Tapuah Junction towards Huwara.
The assailant accelerated towards the hitchhiking station near the junction where a number of civilians were standing, initial police reports indicate.
Border Police opened fire and killed the assailant on site.
"Medics and paramedics assisted IDF paramedics on scene in treating the three wounded, including two in critical condition," said Zaki Heller, the MDA Spokesperson. The victims, all conscious, were taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
On Friday, an Israeli man was seriously wounded after being stabbed by a Palestinian in an industrial park near Ramallah in the West Bank
The incident took place minutes after a Palestinian allegedly tried to ram her car into a group of soldiers near Hebron, but was shot and killed; one Palestinian man also died in clashes with the IDF on the Gaza border.
On Thursday, a Palestinian was shot and killed during an attempted stabbing attack at the Gush Etzion junction on Highway 60 in the West Bank, Israeli army said. No other casualties were reported in the incident. Palestinians identified the attacker as Malak Talal Sharif, a youth from Hebron – the current epicenter of terror attacks.
