An ISIS terrorist named Ali Saqr al-Qasem reportedly used an assault rifle to execute his own mother, Lena, age 45, after she was arrested on apostasy charges for trying to flee the group and Syria.
Members of the activist group “Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently” living inside Syria witnessed the event, which took place in Raqqa, the Daily Mail reported.
The group tweeted a photo of the son, born in 1995, sitting and leaning comfortably against his rifle and staring at the camera lens, along with this text: “Leena Al-Qasem (45 years) executor was her son Ali Saqr (born 1995) a member of #ISIS.”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the woman was accused of trying to talk her son into leaving ISIS and fleeing Syria. The son then reported his mother, and she was arrested, the Daily Mail reported.
The news outlet said it wasn’t clear why he was forced to execute his own mother, but perhaps it was asked of him so he could prove his loyalty to ISIS.
