If you watch Fox News or read articles from many
in the “conservative” media, you would think that
Marco Rubio won the Iowa Caucuses. But he
actually didn’t, he came in third. The actual
 winner was Ted Cruz who led a coalition of
social conservatives and libertarians to defeat
 Donald Trump, who was leading in the polls.

While The Donald had a gracious concession
speech, he took to Twitter this morning blasting
both the media and voters.
@realDonaldTrump
The media has not covered my long-shot great finish in Iowa fairly. Brought

in record voters and got second highest vote total in history!

@realDonaldTrump
I will be talking about my wonderful experience in Iowa and the

simultaneous unfair treatment by the media-later in New Hampshire.

Big crowd

@realDonaldTrump
I don't believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding

my campaign, the only one. I will keep doing, but not worth it!

Meanwhile, the media was quick to proclaim third place Marco Rubio as the real winner in
Iowa. They have speculated that the establishment candidates will be forced from the race
and that Rubio will consolidate their support.

The reality is that the third placed candidate in Iowa has never won the nomination. Also,
Rubio is still in 5th in New Hampshire according to Real Clear Politics political averages
 in the Granite State.

In the Democratic Caucus, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders virtually tied with only .02%
 separating them. Martin O’Malley dropped out of the race on Monday night after his extremely
poor Iowa showing.  Source: AAN
