The Cruz-Trump Blowup Is Being Orchestrated By Those Who Want NEITHER As Their Candidate

Those in the establishment branch of the Republican Party DO NOT WANT either Trump or Cruz for their candidate. So how is the easiest way to get rid of both of them?  Plant a story about Trump's wife, have him react angrily against Cruz. At the same time, plant a story about Cruz's infidelity (a story that has been around for months) and have Cruz come unglued. If both candidates would back down and look at the timing, they would realize that they have been played.

The following story points to Rubio allies as having pushed the affair report. Might be. Could be others.

The key ingredient is that the establishment wants Cruz and Trump to destroy each other so that their "white knight" can come in and rescue the party from the insurgents.  At this point it looks like the plan is working.

We suggest to both Trump and Cruz, that they bury the hatchet (not in each other backs) but deep underground and go after those who placed the unattractive and despicable stories into the news. Those who would "steal" the nomination from either of these gentlemen are not deserving of our respect and should be run out of the Republican Party. This is NOT the way the primaries or the convention should work.

If there is going to be a contested convention (and it looks quite possible at this date), it would be much better for Cruz and Trump to team up now and demand that their delegates vote for their candidacy and out play those who would destroy the choices of the American people. Our questions are 1) do they realize that they have been played 2) do they understand who they are up against (the Establishment Republicans) 3) can they join together to defeat the Establishment and 4) will they?

If the last answer is no, expect either  Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney or John Kasich as the Republican candidate for President who WILL lose to Obama in the general election.

Rumors of Sen. Ted Cruz's alleged adultery have been circulating for months – and allies of former GOP presidential contender Sen. Marco Rubio were allegedly involved in spreading the accusations, The Daily Beast reports.
According to the news site, which cites unnamed GOP and media sources, reporters at the New York Times, the Washington Post, Politico, Bloomberg News and ABC News had all heard versions of the sex scandal.

The conservative Breitbart News also was pushed to run a story on the alleged affairs, an unnamed source tells the Daily Beast – and was given a video by a person "allied" with Rubio but not associated with his official campaign.

Breitbart didn't run a story because the video didn't provide any direct evidence of an affair, the source tells the Daily Beast.

"We got it from a Rubio ally," the unnamed source tells the Daily Beast. "It was too thin… There was no way to verify the claims."

This week, the National Enquirer published a story alleging Cruz had flings with five women – a report Cruz refuted as "garbage," and for which he blamed rival Donald Trump.
Trump, in a Facebook posting, denied any involvement in the Enquirer story.
