Dick Morris: 'Bold Move' by Kasich Would Give Cruz Nomination

John Kasich could guarantee Ted Cruz the Republican presidential nomination by dropping out and endorsing the Texas senator over Donald Trump, political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Friday.
"The only thing that can stop Trump is if Kasich endorses Cruz and [Marco] Rubio does too and Kasich pulls out of the race as Rubio has and may join the Cruz campaign," he told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth.
"At that point, Cruz has the option of winning about 55 percent or 56 percent of the remaining delegates and getting the nomination," he predicted. "It would be a fair fight — but as they stand now unless Kasich makes a bold move, Trump has this thing locked up."
