Carson: Double Standard Lets Democrats Criticize Trump

Ben Carson criticized the double standard used by liberals Friday that allows them to criticize others but rejects that same freedom being given to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Carson spoke on Fox News’ Hannity in the wake of President Obama’s most recent slap at Trump during a commencement speech at the Air Force Academy.
Carson told Hannity that progressives like Obama take advantage of that fact that most Americans are uniformed about public affairs.
“I think the progressives understand that and they’ve taken tremendous advantage of that,” Carson said.
“They also speak poorly of people, but when Trump does the same thing, they say he’s being ‘unpresidential.’ Barack Obama does the same thing, but he does it in a more gentlemanly way. It’s basically the same thing,” Carson said.
