Will Clinton Organization Be Find More Than $1.50 On Ethics Complaint?

Group files election ethics complaint against Clinton

An organization dedicated to maintaining electoral integrity in the U.S. has filed an ethics complaint with the Federal Election Commission against the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The complaint comes after video leaked by investigative journalists at Project Veritas revealed that Clinton and her campaign handlers may have violated campaign finance laws, promoted violence at Republican Donald Trump’s campaign events and discussed possible voter fraud scenarios.
“This complaint is based on information and belief that respondents have engaged in public communications, campaign activity, targeted voter registration drives, and other targeted GOTV [get out the vote] activity under 11 C.F.R. 100.26 and 11 C.F.R. 114.4 at the request, direction, and approval of the Hillary for America campaign committee and the Democratic National Committee in violation of 11 C.F.R. 109.20 and 11 C.F.R. 114.4(d)(2) and (3),” the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) said in its complaint.
Among the concerns outlined by PILF is the possibility that Democratic operatives potentially worked to register voters who are not U.S. citizens.
The organization also suggests that Clinton’s campaign team violated FEC laws by paying protestors through various political action groups to disrupt Trump rallies.
“Upon information and belief, and based upon the facts set forth above, Respondents Hillary for America, the Democratic National Committee, Democracy Partners, Americans United for Change, and their agents, named and unnamed above, have, each of them, individually and collectively, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, and must be held accountable and liable for their unlawful actions,” the complaint concludes.
On Tuesday, a Clinton-linked group called Democracy Partners fired contractor Scott Foval who was seen in one of the Veritas videos encouraging a plan to send paid protestors to antagonize Trump supporters at political rallies.
“It’s a matter of showing up, to want to get into their rally, in a Planned Parenthood T-shirt, or ‘Trump is a Nazi,’ you know,” he’s heard saying in one video. “You can message to draw them out, and draw them out to punch you.”
Robert Creamer, another operative who heads the consulting firm Mobilize, stepped down after the videos revealed he was hired by the Democrats for the sole purpose of organizing counter-protests at Trump rallies.
For PILF president J. Christian Anderson, Project Veritas’s revelations raise serious questions about Clinton’s campaign tactics— especially if her team is actively registering illegals to vote.
“American voter rolls are corrupted with unacceptable numbers of aliens who are illegally registered to vote,” Adams said. “Groups should not be coordinating with campaigns and political parties to exploit vulnerabilities in our election system. We hope this matter is fully investigated by the FEC and that if aliens are voting, they are prosecuted by the Justice Department. That would mark a change in DOJ policies of the last 7 years.”
