Roseanne Barr Recalls The Nazis In Commenting On US Role In Vote Condemning Israel

Comedian Roseanne Barr attacked President Barack Obama’s action in allowing the United Nations to condemn Israel in a vote that took place on the eve of the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah.
The United Nations Security Council passed a resolution Friday condemning Israel for building settlements on the areas which Israel conquered in the Six-Day War of 1967. The U.N. resolution specifically mentioned East Jerusalem.
Although the resolution was initially proposed by Egypt, then later spearheaded by other nations after Egypt no longer wanted to advance it, the United States played a pivotal role in passing the resolution.

Under Security Council rules, the United States could have vetoed the resolution, which would have ended any consideration of the measure. Instead, the U.S. simply abstained, allowing the vote to go forward.
On Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath and the first day of Hanukkah, Barr tweeted out her anger at Obama.

“nazis enacted anti jewish laws on the eve of jewish holidays-exactly as @POTUS has done on eve of Hanukkah. Don’t light candles 2night, BHO!” she wrote.
Barr had more to say, arguing that liberal Jews who have supported Obama and opposed Israel are on the wrong side of the issue.
“Liberal US Jews just helped Obama condemn the Jewish State to worldwide #BDS and Terrorism. If they light Hanukkah candles 2night= ,” she tweeted.

She then portrayed the battle of Israel and its future as a contest between good and evil.
“Today is Shabbat-so I will say: Every Evil wished upon Israel and the Jewish Ppl is returned to its Source, cancelled and cleared,” she added.
Obama’s action in allowing the vote and the vote itself were also condemned by President-elect Donald Trump.
