How Long Will It Take Before The Knives Come Out To Get Steve Harvey?

Hollywood Jaws Drop After Steve Harvey Says He’s Teaming Up With Trump

As actor Meryl Streep demonstrated with her speech last Sunday, Hollywood is ready to gang up en masse on Donald Trump — and anyone who gives him so much as a chance will be shunned in Tinseltown circles.
Apparently, though, actor, comedian and author Steve Harvey didn’t get the message. Or, if he did, he simply didn’t care.
According to Fox News, the “Family Feud” host met with the president-elect and talked by telephone with Trump’s choice for Housing and Urban Development secretary, Dr. Ben Carson, at Trump Tower in New York City on Friday. The comedian says he met with the president over inner city issues after being reached out to by both the Trump transition team and the outgoing Obama administration.

“I came and talked to the guy who’s going to be the 45th president of the United States,” Harvey said.
“(We spoke about) housing for urban development…(to) bring some positive change in the inner cities,” he explained after posing for photos with Trump. “He wants to do something. He realizes he needs some allies in that department. He seemed really sincere about it.”
“We’re going to team up and see if we can bring about some positive change to the inner cities, which I felt was my only agenda,” Harvey added, according to Newsmax.

Ben Carson expressed that because quite naturally, he’s from Detroit,” he added. “I want to do some things in all of the major inner cities to see if we can bring about some change and help some of these young people out.”
As for Trump, “It’s an honor to be invited to talk, and I think that’s the only way that we’re going to unify our country,” Harvey said. “We’ve got to talk, you know?
“President Obama said, ‘You’ve got to sit down and talk,’ and I really enjoyed the conversation.”
Harvey also pointed out that the president-elect was a “big fan” of Family Feud. He didn’t mention anything about the connection both men share to the Miss Universe pageant — which is probably for the best.

Someone asked about possibly having the Trump family on his show.
“The Trumps being on ‘Family Feud?’ Against the Obamas? That’d be good. Or how about the Clintons?” Harvey responded.
Unfortunately, the real feud might be between the left and Steve Harvey, as Hollywood types aren’t known to take lightly to those who don’t follow the marching orders precisely. However, it’s good whenever we see an individual in the entertainment industry can think for himself.
