Sanders Forgets Who Maintains And Builds The Houses And Yachts The Rich People Buy. He's A Fool Who Owns Three Houses!

Bernie Sanders: Rich People Shouldn’t Own Too Many Yachts, Cars. He Owns Three Houses.

Senator Bernie Sanders (Loonbag-VT) is 75 years old, so perhaps he can
be forgiven for his forgetfulness these days. But on Thursday evening, he
weeted out this whopper:

How many yachts do billionaires need? How many cars do they need? Give us a break. You can't have it all.

Sanders, of course, owns three houses: one in Burlington, Vermont; one in
Washington, D.C.; and a third vacation home worth $600,000 on the
beach on the Lake Champlain Islands. Here’s what Sanders’ wife, who
spending but received a $200,000 severance package, had to say about
that vacation home:
We've been impressed with the North Hero community, eaten at the

North Hero House and Shore Acres and have suggested them to

friends who were looking for a beautiful place to stay or have

dinner. St. Anne's Shrine in Isle La Motte is my favorite church

and it is nearby.
Sanders also paid just a 13.5 percent effective tax rate in 2014.
People find it odd that the greatest proponents of socialism seem to live in
high style. The Castros are worth at least a billion dollars. Stalin lived the
high life while his people starved in the Soviet Union. Hugo Chavez’s
second-oldest daughter is worth in excess of $4 billion; Chavez’s
family owns 17 estates in the country. Current socialist leader
Nicolas Maduro is also in the money.
Socialism is fine for those at the bottom. It’s those at the top who really
benefit, though, from just a few too many pudding cups. But they won’t
be giving those up anytime soon.
