When Everyone Tells The Same Joke, It Becomes Trite

Jay Leno Risks Everything To

 Take MAJOR Stand For Trump

In the liberal world of Hollywood, it’s considered risky to one’s career to defend
Donald Trump in any way. That’s why it came as a shock this week when
legendary late night host Jay Leno did just that.
The Daily Caller reported that though Leno is not a fan of Trump, he’s also not a fan of the pathetic way that the current crop of late night hosts attack him on a daily
basis. These days, late night hosts like Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Trevor
Noah and John Oliver spent the entirety of their shows hurling vile and
oftentimes unfunny insults at Trump. Leno said this week that if he were still
hosting the “Tonight Show,” he wouldn’t not be attacking the president nearly
as much as his fellow hosts do.
“I enjoy bringing people together,” Leno told Page Six. “If [mocking the president]
is a constant thing on a nightly basis, eventually you’re all doing the same joke.”
Leno will be performing at the Hamptons this weekend at Guild Hall in East Hampton for a benefit function. There, he has said that he will take a
few shots at the president, but he has also promised to fill his show with jokes
 about other topics as well.
It’s totally normal for late night hosts to joke about the president, but the current
crop of late night personalities have taken this concept way too far. SHARE this
story if you agree with Jay Leno that they should find something else to talk
about!
