The Earth Is So Hot from Global Warming, Sharks Are Freezing to Death
If the earth is supposed to be getting warmer, someone forgot to tell a few sharks.
In fact, beachgoers were pretty shocked to find a pair of thresher sharks washed up on Cape Cod.
That’s not something that happens every day.
Warning, the following images might make some people uncomfortable
The Boston Globe reported that Michelle Wcisel, program director for the local conservatory, said that two thresher sharks were frozen when they washed up on Skaket Beach in Orleans and Chipman’s Cove in Wellfleet.
The beaches are about 60 miles south of Boston.
Wcisel admits that frozen turtles are known to wash up on these beaches, but frozen sharks quite a bit rarer.
The Globe reported that the “two sharks were both about 14-feet long, their tails each about 6-feet long.”
Conservancy officials, along with state and federal officials, took tissue samples from the sharks and will examine them once they finish thawing.
These shark findings come as frigid temperatures have gripped the region in recent days. The day the sharks were found, temperatures in Boston did not rise above20 degrees.
How’s that global warming going for you?
Even President Trump weighed in on the freezing temperatures.
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” Trump wrote. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”
Of course, some liberals would claim that there this a difference between weather and climate. Agreed.
However, but this year alone, over 400 scientific papers have been released seriously challenging the theory that global warming is the problem climate change alarmists portray it as. In fact, researcher Kenneth Richard says that, “Many regions of the Earth are cooler now than they have been for most of the last 10,000 years.”
So, while the debate rages on, these sharks probably should have gone to Al Gore’s Arctic Circle. After all, it’s warmer there, right?
