If Strzok Is Not Fired And Then Charged With Malfeasance Of Office

BREAKING: FBI Agent Who Said He Would 'Stop' Trump Escorted From FBI Building

On Tuesday, CNN reported that FBI agent Peter Strzok, who helped head up both the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the Russian collusion investigation, was escorted from the FBI building last Friday.
Jake Tapper reported, “He was escorted from the FBI building on Friday.” Legal correspondent Laura Jarrett explained that he was still employed at the FBI as of Tuesday afternoon, but is facing a professional responsibility investigation.
This move came after Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced last week that Strzok’s anti-Trump text messages, including one in which Strzok promised his lover that he would “stop” Trump, had undercut the credibility of the department in serious ways. That IG report concluded:
[I]t is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. This is antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice.
Horowitz testified before Congress on Monday that “I can’t think of something more concerning than a law enforcement officer suggesting that they’re going to try and use or may use their powers to effect an election.”
