Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just had his Thursday ruined by Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch — and he only needed three letters.
Hatch brought back up a sour memory for Reid, reminding the former Democratic leader that it was his actions that will allow Republicans to confirm any Supreme Court nominee that President Donald Trump decides on.
“#TBT,” Hatch tweeted at Reid, a reference to the term “Throwback Thursday” — a trend among social media users to bring up fond memories of the past.
It stings because Reid was warned when passing the controversial filibuster reform act in 2013 that it would end up blowing up in his face.

Now, Trump is prepared to use Reid’s actions against him and the Democratic Party.
With a filibuster proof majority, the GOP will quickly and easily replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy with a principled conservative.
