In Democrat Eyes, Trump (Or America) Should Not Be Allowed To Win

Pelosi’s next coronavirus plan: Impeachment Part 2

As the coronavirus spreads across the nation, critics have noticed that Democrats seem more fixated on blaming President Donald Trump than on helping stop the infection and saving lives.
And some longtime political observers believe they know why.
Impeachment.
“It looks like Nancy Pelosi’s setting the stage for impeaching Trump again over his reaction to coronavirus,” said radio host Rush Limbaugh. “They’re gonna do it. They’re gonna try to impeach him again.”
But he also indicated what the second impeachment push really means… and it has nothing to do with the coronavirus pandemic or the Trump administration’s response to the outbreaks at all.
“It just means they know they can’t beat him with anybody in an election in November,” he observed.
Limbaugh isn’t alone in his prediction.
Radio host and Fox News regular Dan Bongino said Democrats are already plotting to make this as political as possible, as quickly as they can.
“The political attack’s coming the minute we mitigate this crisis,” he said. “That’s what they’re doing.”
He said that once the crisis is past, the endless investigations will begin.
“They are preparing right now for another investigation into Trump and their attack is going to be two-fold,” he said. “Number one is going to be denial [of the evidence] and number two is going to be delay [of equipment].”
Key Democrats are already setting the stage.
Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., one of the impeachment ringleaders, already signaled his plan.
“After Pearl Harbor and 9/11, we looked at what went wrong to learn from our mistakes,” he tweeted. “Once we’ve recovered, we need a nonpartisan commission to review our response and how we can better prepare for the next pandemic. I’m working on a bill to do that.”
Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., even claimed the situation “feels like Ukraine all over again” in an MSNBC interview, saying Trump is trying to manipulate states to benefit himself before he delivers promised relief.
“The president is now instead of using foreign aid, using emergency relief in order to try to get people to do his political bidding,” Murphy claimed. “I mean, the message seems pretty clear: If you criticize the president, then you are going to get attacked and you are potentially going to have critical medical supplies withheld and if you get the president’s back politically, we’ll send you what you need.”
And naturally, the Hollywood left––from the comfort of their gated communities––is getting in on the act:

We need strikes / and we need to remove trump from power to save lives
Impeach him again /
Pressure for 25th

…and everyone from Barbra Streisand to Bette Midler is yelling at Trump on Twitter, all day, every day.
The left is quietly setting Trump up for a no-win situation.
If the virus kills as many Americans as projected, they’ll blame him – not the infection – and launch impeachment proceedings.
But if this somehow comes to a halt––if the efforts of the administration and public health officials pays off and it’s not nearly as bad as expected––they’ll blame him for creating a panic, and launch impeachment proceedings.
“The NYTimes will write an op-ed claiming that COVID-19 was never a big deal and that Trump blew it out of proportion to make himself a hero before the election and give away taxpayer money,” wrote radio host Bill Mitchell. “Democrats will then impeach him for abuse of power and causing panic.”
With Republicans still firmly in control of the Senate, and in Trump’s corner, it’s likely to be as successful as the last attempt.
But the real goal wouldn’t be to win in the Senate. As Limbaugh said, it’s to hurt Trump at the ballot box in November.
