Democrat Once Again Proves He Is a Racist!

Top Dem senator trapped in huge “all-white” beach scandal

The Democratic Party voters got a rude awakening over the weekend.

One of their own members was embroiled in a major scandal that went viral through Father’s Day weekend.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., is in some hot water.

Reports say that the veteran senator is part of an exclusive all-white country club in his representative state of Rhode Island.

In the viral video, Whitehouse was asked by a local reporter about his membership.

“It’s a long tradition in Rhode Island,” he said when asked about the lack of diversity at Bailey’s Beach Club, “and there are many of them.”

He claimed that club officials are working to invite minorities to join the elite club.

“I think the people who are running the place are still working on that and I’m sorry it hasn’t happened yet.”

“And I think we just need to work our way through the issues.”

But based on a New York Post report, perhaps Sen. Whitehouse’s wife is reportedly a top shareholder of the club — and has been for years. If Whitehouse wanted to enact change, he could.

And in the past, he reportedly promised he’d drop membership of the all-white club back in 2006 when he had been running for office.

GoLocal, a Providence, Rhode Island-based news site, has consistently followed up with the senator to remind him of his failed campaign promise.

After the local press was denied comments on his involvement with the club eventually he was confronted by the media outlet, when he said that “it would be nice if they changed a little bit, but it’s not my position.”

He also told the outlet that he’d discuss the matter privately with club officials.

That was in 2017.

But it seems that the club didn’t care to hear what he had to say… or he never spoke to them all along.

And vigilant social media users were quick to point out the obvious…
