Rick Santorum has the guts to say what others won't. Global warming is politics! We could not agree more. As time goes by, more scientists come out and agree with the Senator's opinion and less agree with Al Gore and others of his ilk.
We were always sure of our understanding of the phenomena and when global warmers flew to Copenhagen and other locations around the world in private jets, it confirmed our suspicions. Then they used limousines to carry them to their expensive hotels, it struck us as if these people were very inconsistent at best and hypocrites more likely.
We have found that if someone is a true believer (we have no problem with someone who is concerned with the environment as long as they do not negatively impact us), they would act consistently. They would fly but in a commercial jet, use a taxi with several riders and share hotel facilities. They would require any hotel in which they would stay be environmentally friendly. However, these "warmer" events are not examples of minimum impact.
Neither are the leaders, for example, Al Gore, owns several houses which are not retrofitted to meet environmental sensitivities and he drives large SUVs and not electrics or hybrids. He is a hypocrite!
If the events and the leaders are not in it for the "science", it must be politics which also means money for them. Al "I invented the internet" Gore has made millions on his hoax. Does he believe it, from his record, we doubt it. We stand ready to correct our stand but there has been little to make us change our minds.
We compliment Santorum for pointing out the obvious and he assuredly will be assailed by the "scientists" who believe otherwise, however, sometimes we need to point out that the "king has no clothes."

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Rick Santorum says President Barack Obama is pushing a radical environmental agenda that unwisely limits energy production and turns its back on science.Santorum told voters in eastern Ohio on Monday that science is on the side of those who want to aggressively produce more oil and natural gas in America. He said the notion of global warming is not climate science but "political science."
Santorum said Obama and his allies want to frighten people about new oil-exploration technologies so they can get your dollars and turn it over to politicians to win elections "so they can control your lives."
Ohio's GOP primary is March 6.
Santorum also planned several campaign appearances later Monday in Michigan. Voters there go to the polls on Feb. 28.
