Graham Needs To Learn How To Play With Others

Lindsey Graham vows to fight Trump on immigration reform

South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham says he will block any effort from a Trump White House to undo President Barack Obama’s executive order on immigrant minors.
Graham said ending programs that provide amnesty to younger immigrants like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals won’t help to improve U.S. border security.
“Here is a problem that we have: You’ve got about a million DREAM Act kids who came here as small children, lived here all their lives. Now they have legal status by executive order,” Graham said.
Graham also accused Trump of promoting immigration policies that would treat “a grandmother and drug dealer the same.”
Trump hasn’t said whether he plans to reverse Obama’s actions regarding child immigrants— but the president-elect has hinted that mass deportations of illegal immigrants won’t be happening any time soon.
“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers,” he told CBS. “After the border is secured and after everything gets normalized, we’re going to make a determination on the people that you’re talking about who are terrific people.”
Meanwhile, House Democrats are urging President Obama to pardon more than 750,000 illegal immigrants who are currently allowed to remain in the country under his 2012 DACA executive order.
