When You Are A Police Officer, You Run TOWARD The Problem

Armed Teacher Blasts Cowardly Deputies Who Refused to Stop Shooting

One teacher who has been trained as a reserve deputy to carry on campus was shocked that deputies stood idle outside of the Florida school shooting and pointed out the benefits of having armed teachers on the inside.
A reserve county deputy and high school teacher in Arkansas who also serves as an assistant Sheriff’s Reserve Officer spoke to the Western Journal about carrying at his school on the request of anonymity so that he wouldn’t have a target put on his back.
“We currently have one officer assigned to our town, but it’s only a 10-hour shift and is only 2 hours of the school day,” he explained, adding that the response time range from the county to their school would be 15 to 30 minutes at best.
“So it’s crucial we have people on campus that are trained and prepared for an active shooter.”
At the high school where he works, there are three people including himself who carry a weapon on campus. One is a full-time deputy that serves as a Sheriff’s Reserve Officer and the other is another armed deputy teacher.

President Donald Trump said that having armed teachers on campus could help defend students in a speech Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
The president said that after listening to the families of victims in last week’s school shooting in Parkland, Florida and law enforcement officials earlier this week, he believes one necessary response is arming gun-adept teachers and school officials with concealed carry weapons.
The Arkansas high school teacher told The Western Journal that he agrees with him.
“Having other teachers trained and concealed carry would be tremendously useful in a crisis. The teachers would need to be selected and put through evaluations much like an officer and trained in active shooter response.”

Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Peterson and three other Sheriff’s deputies have been reported to have been outside of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School without confronting the shooter.
Coral Springs unnamed sources told CNN that the deputies had their pistols drawn, but were behind their vehicles outside the school when Coral Springs police officers arrived.
When Coral Springs officers arrived on site, they entered the building and were later joined by new Broward County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to CNN, Coral Springs police were “stunned and upset” that the original deputies on scene did not join them inside the school.

The Arkansas armed teacher responded to these reports with disbelief.
“I can not believe or understand how a law enforcement officer could stand by idly while kids are being gunned down,” he told The Western Journal. “How could he say he believed he was doing right? He should be held accountable for his lack of action. Every Law Enforcement Officer in this nation knows that after Columbine you are trained to go to the threat and eliminate it.”
He continued, “I have been trained as an instructor in ALICE which is active shooter response training program and I help instruct our teachers on what to do in case of an emergency. In this training and other law enforcement training, you are taught to address the immediate threat head-on. You do not wait, you do not secure the perimeter, you do not stop to help others. You go to the gunfire.”

Police in Arkansas are investigating a shooting at a nightclub in which 25 people were shot and others were trampled in the resulting panic.
According to Little Rock police, a fight broke out at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday during a Finese2Tymes concert at the Power Ultra Lounge, resulting in an “exchange of fire.”
Initial reports listed the number of shooting victims at 17. The victims range in age from 16 to those in their mid-20s. Others were injured as they fled from the club.

Michael Hibblen, news director at Little Rock radio station KUAR, told NPR that “people started jumping out windows to escape,” landing on awnings below.
“So, it would seem that at least some of the injuries were related to the broken glass and the falls,” Hibblen said.
Police Chief Kenton Buckner did not report a specific number of those injured, but said all of the victims are recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

tweet posted by Little Rock police indicated they do not believe this incident was an active shooter or terror related.

We do NOT believe this incident was an active shooter or terror related incident. It appears to have been a dispute at a concert.

No arrests have been made in association with the incident, although police say they have several suspects in the shooting.
As time ticked into the later morning hours Saturday, some began to express their frustration that the shooters had not been apprehended.
“I guess the no snitching rule is in effect even after 17 people were shot @ Power Ultra Lounge,” local Stefan Robinson wrote on Facebook. “We need to take our city back.”

The Power Ultra Lounge’s promotional poster for the Finese2Tymes show depicts the performer aiming a gun at the camera.
His song Going Straight In contains the lyrics, “Shooting up with the scope on a rifle, White Louis V on the buckle.”

Saturday’s incident follows a series of recent drive-by shootings in the area, though there is no indication the events are linked.
Buckner declined to report additional details regsarding the investigation into the shooting.
“Certainly during incidents such as this, emotions are very high. We need to be very careful with our words,” Buckner said. “This is a blip on the map that we certainly didn’t need considering the history that we’ve had over the past week.”

Bad News Continues To Follow Chelsea

Chelsea Clinton asks for help on Twitter — then gets ‘completely destroyed’ by Juanita Broaddrick

Chelsea Clinton asks for help on Twitter — then gets ‘completely destroyed’ by Juanita Broaddrick

Chelsea Clinton took to Twitter this week asking her followers for some help identifying synonyms for the words “sick,” “horrifying” and “awful.”
“I need a thesaurus. What’s another word for horrifying? Sick? Awful? Running out of adjectives these days that mean unconscionably terrible,” Clinton tweeting, linking to a story about an illegal immigrant who was detained when she sought a protective order against a domestic abuser.

Clinton received a lot of responses, but one Twitter user gave Clinton an answer she never expected.
That user is Juanita Broaddrick, one of the myriad of women that has accused Clinton’s father, former President Bill Clinton, of rape or sexual abuse. Broaddrick alleges that Clinton raped her in 1978 when he was attorney general of Arkansas.
She responded to Clinton’s request by tweeting, “Well, since you asked, Here’s my definition of horrifying, sick & awful. Answer: Your father, Bill Clinton.”

Twitter was entertained — and many thought Broaddrick should have added Clinton’s mom, twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, to the list of synonyms for “horrifying” as well:

Rape and sexual assault allegations against Clinton were rehashed during the final stages of last year’s presidential campaign after Trump himself came under fire for admitting on tape that he grabbed women by the genitals.
Trump even paraded Broaddrick, among other accusers, in front of the media for a pre-debate press conference in October.
