In a show of great character Donald Trump Jr. stood in defense of Chelsea Clinton.

Donald Trump Jr. is defending Chelsea Clinton after the former first daughter was accosted by far-left activists at a New York University vigil showing respect for victims of the Christchurch massacre in New Zealand.

Video of the incident, which went viral, showed the pro-Muslim students blame Clinton for the massacre. They claimed Clinton’s condemnation of anti-Semitic rhetoric from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) contributed to the political climate that fueled the massacre.

“This, right here,” an activist angrily yelled at Clinton, pointing to the vigil, “is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world!”

In an effort to defuse the tense situation, Clinton apologized several times, although she was continually interrupted.

In a rare show of solidarity between the Clintons and Trumps, Don Jr. condemned the activists’ “sickening” actions.

“It’s sickening to see people blame @ChelseaClinton for the NZ attacks because she spoke out against anti-Semitism,” Don Jr. said. “We should all be condemning anti-Semitism & all forms of hate. Chelsea should be praised for speaking up. Anyone who doesn’t understand this is part of the problem.”

Muslim activists chew out Chelsea Clinton over her 'caucasity' at vigil for New Zealand massacre

They're angry she called out Rep. Ilhan Omar on anti-Semitism

Chelsea Clinton tried to attend a vigil at New York University to show respect for the victims of the horrible massacre in New Zealand but pro-Muslim activists used the opportunity to berate her for calling out anti-Semitism.

Clinton apologized but the activists continued to blame her for the massacre that claimed 49 lives.
A friend of one of the activists posted a short video of the altercation on Twitter.
"I'm so sorry," Clinton is heard saying on the video, "it certainly was never my intention, I do believe words matter, I believe we have to show solidarity..."
"They do matter! This, right here," the activist interrupted angrily, pointing to the vigil, "is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world!
"And I want you to know that, and I want you to feel that deep inside," she added emphatically.

"I'm so sorry you feel that way," Clinton responded.
"What does 'I'm sorry you feel that way' mean? What does that mean?" demanded another activist.

The activist posted a tweet criticizing Clinton before the confrontation and explaining why she was upset.
"[T]he CAUCASITY that chelsea clinton has showing up to a vigil for the 49 muslims massacred in an islamophobic hate crime after STOKING ISLAMOPHOBIA AND RACISM surrounding ilhan omar.... f**king ridiculous," she tweeted.
Others tweeted similar grievances against Clinton.
"A lot of students feel uncomfortable," said Esor Fasa, who posted the video. "People haven't forgotten the Islamophobic mob she incited against @IlhanMN. There is no sense of responsibility."
"Not at all helpful or healing to see @ChelseaClinton at the @ICNYU vigil for the victims of the #NZMosqueShooting after she piled on to the racist and Islamophobic smear campaign against @IlhanMN just a few days ago," tweeted Mohammed Khan with a photo of Clinton.

Clinton had joined those who criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) over controversial comments that many saw as anti-Semitic. Omar is one of two Muslim female members of Congress.

With the 2018 election in the rear view mirror, and the 2020 presidential election still over a year away, Democrats have started fighting each other.

Chelsea Clinton waded into the middle of the fight on Sunday — and liberal Twitter users lost their minds.

Chelsea attacked freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., after Omar allegedly published an anti-Jewish conspiracy theory on Twitter.

Omar, a frequent critic of Israel, suggested that Jewish lobbyists had bought and paid for Republican support —

When asked specifically about WHO was bribing Congress, Omar was happy to point fingers (without evidence, of course) —

Omar is referring to the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a prominent pro-Israel lobbyist group.

AIPAC operates on approximately $3.5 million annual budget, making it statistically one of the smaller lobbying groups in Washington, D.C.

It also gives more to Democratic elections than Republican.

For comparison purposes, AIPAC is roughly the same size as the Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) — an Islamic lobbying group that Omar was a member of for years that has close ties to radical Islamic terror groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.

The tweet caused uproar on both sides of the political aisle.

President Donald Trump’s former UN Ambassador, Nikki Haley, said Omar’s nasty anti-Semitic conspiracy theory reminded her of the worst parts of the UN —

Even Chelsea weighed in… and it caused an uproar —

Chelsea was called racist for her comments.

As the first Muslim elected to Congress, Omar has emerged as a controversial figure since being inaugurated. She’s frequently suggested Republican senators are “compromised” by unnamed outsiders — without evidence.

Those unfounded, anti-Semetic conspiracy theories are especially dangerous considering Omar is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. That panel oversees U.S. foreign assistance, foreign policy, treaties, peacekeeping and war powers.

Omar is also on the Education and Labor Committee, which oversees federal education programs from preschool to higher education.
