The next bipartisan push for more gun control is just around the corner.

Through inside sources, former congressman and liberty champion Ron Paul

has uncovered a plot by Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Lindsey Graham

(R-SC) to unite with liberal ideologue Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to push through

arguably the most invasive and unconstitutional gun grabbing scheme in our

history.

The horribly misguided proposal reportedly intends to disarm law-abiding

citizens without due process.

Under dubiously called "Red Flag" or "Risk Protection" Orders, anti-gun zealots

could have your firearms confiscated without any of the legal rights afforded to

American citizens.

Mere accusations would take the place of a legitimate trial. In secret court

proceedings, where you're pitted against your accuser, activist judges could

decide that you pose a "significant danger" to your yourself, someone else, or

society.

Imagine watching in horror as a SWAT Team, armed to the teeth, bashes down

your door to seize your legally obtained firearms – despite following all

necessary background checks and procedures.

It could conceivably cost you tens of thousands in court fees and months to

try, possibly in vain, to convince the court they made a mistake.

According to Congressman Paul and mounting irrefutable evidence,

progressives and members of Washington's ruling class have tried to seize

your guns for years.

Now, through harmless sounding "Red Flag" and "Risk Protection" Orders,

they think they've discovered the necessary breakthrough.

Paul's Campaign 4 Liberty is preparing a massive grassroots mobilization to

support pro-Second Amendment conservatives and ensure less reliable

Republicans currently taking flak from the liberal media and reinvigorated

gun control lobby know where their constituents stand.

The Founding Fathers didn't add any qualifiers to the Second Amendment.

There's nothing superfluous about the Constitution. They understood that

the right to defend your life and property shall not be infringed by the

government.

With the Second Amendment under unprecedented threat, Paul believes

weak-kneed members of Congress need a lasting reminder of its importance.

Former White House adviser Dr. Sebastian Gorka berated congressional Democrats for failing to attend the opening of the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem on Monday.

“The whole Democrat establishment in Washington, D.C., not one individual could be happy for our best friend in the Middle East, Israel, and snubbed that event,” Gorka told Fox News on Tuesday. “It’s reprehensible, it’s disgusting.”

“More Democrats have met with Louis Farrakhan, a radical individual who has hateful attitudes toward Israel, than went to see our embassy building opened yesterday,” he added. “That’s an indictment of their own party.”

Gorka’s Farrakhan reference was apparently to a Daily Caller story in March, which determined at least seven House Democrats are known to have direct ties to the Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan.

California Reps. Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee, Illinois Rep. Danny Davis, Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks and Texas Rep. Al Green have all met with the antisemitic leader.

During his Saviours’ Day address in Chicago in February, Farrakhan said the “the powerful Jews are the enemy,” CNN reported.

“White folks are going down,” Farrakhan further stated. “And Satan is going down. And Farrakhan, by God’s grace, has pulled the cover off of that Satanic Jew and I’m here to say your time is up, your world is through.”

CNN noted the liberal Southern Poverty Law Center has designated The Nation of Islam a hate group due to its “deeply racist, antisemitic, and anti-LGBT rhetoric” and condemned its leader Farrakhan.

The Daily Caller reported that Rep. Waters “attended a Nation of Islam convention in 2002, where Farrakhan railed against Jews and defended Palestinian suicide bombers.” The leader praised the California lawmaker during his speech, to applause from the audience of Nation of Islam members.

The Congressional Black Caucus held a meeting with Farrakhan in 2005 and among those in attendance was future President Barack Obama.

“The photographer, who worked for a Nation of Islam publication, said he suppressed the photo for 13 years at the request of CBC Democrats who wanted to protect Obama’s presidential aspirations. He released the photo in January,” according to The Daily Caller.

The news outlet reached out to all the 21 current members of Congress who were at the CBC meeting to ask if they were willing to denounce Farrakhan, but none would.

Former Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut was the lone Democrat at the embassy opening on Monday. Though not in attendance, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer praised Trump for making the move.

Among the Republicans at the embassy dedication were Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah, Dean Heller of Nevada, and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. A delegation made up 10 House Republicans also attended the historic occasion.

DOJ Violates Deadline to Turn Over FBI Docs on FISA, Clinton Foundation

On Thursday, a Republican Judiciary Committee aide stated that the Justice Department has failed to meet the deadline to report alleged abuse within Washington.

Committee Chairman and Republican Rep. Bob Goodlatte stated that the DOJ has “not yet” compiled in handing over nearly 1.2 million documents related to Hillary Clinton’s email investigation, alleged abuses on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and even some details regarding former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s termination.

Though Goodlatte called out the DOJ for their negligence to meet the March 22 subpoena, he said that his committee is working with numerous officials in order to “take immediate steps to comply with the subpoena and produce documents to the Committee.”

As Fox News reported, documents of Clinton’s email investigation have been previously requested by Goodlatte, but, as of last month, only a “fraction” of those documents have been provided.

There have not been any documents chronicling the alleged FISA abuses given to the committee, the chairman added.

“Given the Department’s ongoing delays in producing these documents, I am left with no choice but to issue the enclosed subpoena to compel production of these documents,” said Goodlatte in a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

The Justice Department responded to the March 22 letter saying that over two dozen FBI members have been involved in assisting the chairman with his request, stating that the documents would be given “on a rolling basis.”

The department also stated that it would respond with documents every 10 to 14 days in order to fulfill the request.

Along with the documents requested, Goodlatte and other Washington lawmakers have also demanded the DOJ appoint a second special counsel to both of the cases regarding FISA abuse and Clinton’s email scandal in order to investigate the actions of current and former officials.

“I want a special counsel to be appointed with the same resources and the same determination to look at those issues as Mueller is looking at the Trump campaign,” Senator Lindsey Graham told “Fox News Sunday.”

Graham and other public figures have called for an investigation outside of the Justice Department. Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch also alluded to concerns within the DOJ that much of the details within the Trump-Russia dossier and FISA documents eventually lead to Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

“I think a special counsel is still going to be needed, but I do think this is a very important step in the right direction,” Goodlatte said, adding that it takes the investigation directly to “justice.”

The chairman said that there had been a “number of people” within the DOJ and other places in Washington who were engaged in “highly biased” activity during the 2016 presidential election and both of the investigations.

“This takes it to a respected U.S. attorney outside of Washington who has prosecutorial powers,” he said. “We already know that the inspector general of the department has been at work on this a long time. We are looking forward to seeing his report soon.”
