Supreme Court Nominee Has Ties To Some Very Controversial Events

Da Noive! President Barack Obama has chosen to nominate United States Appeals Court Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.
We are told he is a “moderate,” but we know how that works. The other “moderates” on the high court somehow manage to march their way in lockstep to the officially designated liberal position on every single major case. Can anyone name an exception?
But that is the least of my objections. Whatever his merits, Garland served as Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick’s “principal deputy” during the two most corrupt years in American political history – the years leading up to Bill Clinton’s reelection in 1996 – and that service alone should kill his candidacy.
Although Garland has no known connection with the TWA 800 investigation, it happened during his watch, and his boss oversaw its unprecedented misdirection.
My newest book on the subject, “TWA 800: The Crash, The Cover-up, And the Conspiracy,” spells out Gorelick’s role in all its unseemly detail. The book will be published before the crash’s 20th anniversary in July, but I would be happy to share an advanced copy with any U.S. senator who wants to know the truth.
In sum, Gorelick and the Clintons pulled off the most successful cover-up in American peacetime history. As a reward, the otherwise unqualified Gorelick was named vice-president of Fannie Mae in 1997, in which job she made more than $25 million during the next six years.
In 2004, Gorelick resigned from Fannie Mae to assume one of only five Democratic seats on the 9/11 Commission, a position no one challenged until Attorney General John Ashcroft testified before the commission on April 13, 2004.
“The single greatest structural cause for the September 11th problem was the wall that segregated or separated criminal investigators and intelligence agents,” said Ashcroft. “Government erected this wall, government buttressed this wall, and before September 11th government was blinded by this wall.”
Ashcroft spoke of the memorandum that established the wall and added a detail that had gone previously unspoken, “The author of this memorandum is a member of the commission.” He was referring, of course, to Gorelick.
Thanks to a mother lode of unearthed CIA documents and one key FBI video, we now know that Gorelick breached her own “wall” to allow the CIA and FBI to work hand and glove in the subversion of the TWA 800 investigation. Senators need to ask Garland what he knew about TWA 800 and when he knew it.
Garland was deeply involved with another questionable investigation, that of the Oklahoma City bombing. In fact, he supervised the prosecutions of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. What someone needs to ask Garland is what happened to John Doe No. 2.
In the way of background, 20 minutes before the April 19, 1995, blast in downtown Oklahoma City, employees at a tire store spotted McVeigh and a short Mideastern-looking man, in the infamous Ryder truck, and even gave the pair directions to the Murrah building intersection.
Witness Daina Bradley cried out to the rescuers who were trying to extricate her after the blast – they had to amputate her leg to do so – “It was a Ryder truck. It pulled up, a foreign-looking man got out, and then before long, everything went black.”
Five minutes before the blast, printing operator Jerry Nance noticed an unusual car in the downtown Oklahoma City parking lot near where he worked. It was a dilapidated yellow Mercury Marquis. Behind the wheel was a dark-skinned, Middle Eastern-looking man in a ball cap.
When Nance walked back towards the car, after getting some stuff from his own car, the Mercury Marquis almost ran him over. The Middle Eastern man was now sitting in the passenger seat, and a tall white man was driving the car out of the parking lot, recklessly at that.
Two minutes later, the Murrah building blew. Nance informed the FBI of this incident before anyone knew McVeigh was apprehended in a yellow Mercury Marquis.
A week later, the FBI quoted Nance and the tire store employees in its request before a federal judge to hold McVeigh over for trial. One of the tire store employees picked McVeigh out of a lineup of look-alikes even before he saw McVeigh on TV.
According to the Washington Post of April 28, 1995, a federal judge ordered McVeigh to be held after an FBI agent “described eyewitness accounts of a yellow Mercury with McVeigh and another man inside speeding away from a parking lot near the federal building.” (Italics added.)
For the next six weeks, John Doe No. 2 was the most hunted man in the world until, without explanation, he just kind of went away, again without the media even commenting on his disappearance. Perhaps Garland could shed some lights on his whereabouts.
Garland was also involved with the Olympic Park bombing. As the reader may recall, security guard Richard Jewell was patrolling the grounds of Centennial Park in Atlanta.
Right around midnight he spotted a large olive-green military-style backpack under a bench. He immediately shared this info with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Jewell and the GBI agent then started to clear an area around the pack.
Soon afterward, the pack exploded. Two people died, and more than a hundred were injured. If Jewell had not seen this 40-pound bomb, it might have killed hundreds.
Likely fearing an Islamic connection as they did in Oklahoma City, the Clinton people turned on the transparently innocent Richard Jewell and hounded him all the way to the November election. Our senators might want to ask who authorized the hounding.
In fact, there are a lot of questions they should ask, and to start, they might call in Gorelick and Hillary as character witnesses.

Could There Have Been A Cover-up In OKC Case?

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed on April 19, 1995, in Oklahoma City.
The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed on April 19, 1995, in Oklahoma City.
A trial this week in Utah is revisiting the provocative question raised by professional and amateur investigators who believe a wider plot surrounded the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995: Was there another man in that Ryder truck with Timothy McVeigh?
Jesse Trentadue of Salt Lake City sued the government in 2008 for violating the Freedom of Information Act, claiming the FBI is refusing to release surveillance videos that show a second person was with McVeigh when he parked the truck outside the federal building and detonated a bomb that killed 168 people the morning of April 19, 1995.
The Justice Department initially sought a third suspect who fit the description of a Middle Eastern man but then dropped the search. The FBI has maintained ever since that McVeigh was alone in the car and that his only co-conspirator was Terry Nichols, who is serving life in prison. McVeigh was executed June 11, 2001.
In her New York Times bestselling book, “The Third Terrorist,” published by WND Books, investigative reporter Jayna Davis presented convincing evidence there was a third plotter involved in the bombing and that he was an Iraqi national named Hussain al Hussaini.
The Salt Lake City trial is expected to wrap up Thursday or Friday.
Trentadue says he began investigating the bombing to seek justice for his brother, Kenneth Trentadue, 44, who was found hanged in his cell at the U.S. Bureau of Prisons’ Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. He believes his brother, a convicted bank robber who was picked up for parole violations, was mistaken for a suspected co-conspirator in the bombing and died in an FBI interrogation that went awry and was covered up by prison officials.
Trentadue is asking the federal court to allow him to search the FBI’s files himself for the missing videos. But Davis, who notes a previous lawsuit confirms the existence of crime-scene related tapes, says swimming through reams of FBI video footage probably won’t yield results.
“That’s like 2,300 hours of looking through the most worthless tapes you will ever find,” Davis told WND Wednesday.
The FBI has given Trentadue 30 video recordings in response to his FOIA request, but none shows the building exploding or McVeigh parking the truck.
U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups was not impressed by the FBI explanations for its recalcitrance and ordered the agency to explain why it can’t find videos that are mentioned in evidence logs.
The FBI has brought employees to the stand claiming the agency has thoroughly searched its archives and found no evidence that more videos exist.
Additional searches would be “burdensome” and unlikely to produce anything, FBI attorney Kathryn Wyer argued during the first day of the trial.
‘Smoking gun’ already revealed
Davis said the “smoking gun” in this case was already fired, and it’s sitting in open view in courtroom records.
Jayna Davis wrote a best-seller about the Oklahoma City bombing in 2004.
Jayna Davis wrote a best-seller about the Oklahoma City bombing in 2004.
Judge Wayne Alley, presiding judge in another FOIA lawsuit filed in 2001 by a freelance journalist, confirmed that there are more tapes in the possession of the government related to the crime scene.
“Judge Alley confirmed, in writing, that the FBI possessed numerous tapes that were recording on April 19, from multiple sources, that the American people have never seen,” Davis said in an exclusive phone interview with WND.
“So how can the FBI now say, 13 years later, we don’t know where it is? That just makes no sense. You have the largest act of terrorism in 20th-century America, and you have a recording, which is a witness that never blinks and doesn’t lie, and you lose the videotape? That’s unfathomable. That did not happen.”
Davis said the competency of the FBI needs to be re-examined, from the ground up.
“As a journalist that has looked into this for 19 years and looked into every aspect of the bombing of the Murrah federal building, it is my belief, based on the evidence and very reliable law enforcement officers that have assured me there is video the public hasn’t seen, that it does disclose not one bomber but multiple bombers and that is why it was never shown at trial. That is the reason why. Multiple bombers.”
Davis makes it clear she does not support or agree with Trentadue’s theory that the other men involved in the bombing were tied to neo-Nazi bank robbers or any other domestic groups. Her book, which, she said, lawyers from Thomas Nelson Publishers called “the most ridiculously over-documented book they’d ever read,” concludes that the other man in the Ryder truck was Hussain al Hussaini, a former Iraqi soldier. Hussaini was part of a terrorist cell that operated with the support of Iran as its state sponsor.
“I don’t agree with his philosophy in the case, but I do believe Jesse Trentadue has been a crusader for truth, because he is pursing the surveillance tapes,” Davis said. “He keeps going, relentlessly, and that’s a victory for the American people and for truth.”
Nineteen years later, the truth of what really happened remains all about the missing tapes, which were sealed at trial by Judge Richard Matsch, and have never been unsealed.
“It’s about one judge that presided over the trials of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, Judge Matsch. He sealed the tapes in 2001. He has the power to unseal them, but the FBI is now saying they can’t find them. And I don’t believe them,” Davis said. “That’s the whole argument. It would be burdensome to keep looking, we can’t find it. But until the American public becomes outraged about this, there’s going to be no pressure on the Justice Department to release that tape. You know, God only knows, if it still exists. I can’t speculate on that.”
That’s why Davis said she removed a chapter she had written about the missing tapes from her book before it went to the publisher. She did not want to be attacked for something she could not absolutely prove when the evidence laid outside of her control with the FBI.
“That’s why I relied on the testimony of 22 witnesses who have signed sworn affidavits and positively identified eight Middle Eastern men, many of whom were former Iraqi soldiers, aiding and abetting McVeigh and Nichols during the critical stages of the bombing plot,” Davis said.
“So Judge Matsch goes into his courtroom and seals videotapes that the FBI can’t find? That’s what they’re expecting us to believe,” she continued. “If Judge Matsch lifts that seal, the truth is in there. But everyone keeps missing it. It’s the forest through the trees.
“Judge Alley appealed to Judge Matsch to lift the gag order and lift the shroud of secrecy over those tapes,” Davis said. “He never lifted it.”
Hussain al Hussaini sued Davis and her TV station, KFOR in Oklahoma City, for libel after her book came out, but the suit was dismissed in a summary judgment. All 50 statements of fact and opinion that implicated him in the bombing were upheld in the court as undisputed. He remains in a jail cell in Quincy, Massachusetts, on an unrelated crime of assault and battery in which he allegedly slashed a man’s face with a beer bottle in March 2011. He is still awaiting trial.

Patriotism --Is It Still Positive

The Patriot Movement

March 11, 2013 by
The Patriot Movement

There is and has been for some time a propaganda war designed to marginalize and demonize the liberty movement and those who advocate for a government that is limited by the Constitution and rule of law. Last week, that war hit high gear, as it became apparent that rational discussion about the role of government is no longer possible — in Washington or elsewhere.
The hate group I call the Southern Preposterous Lie Center (read about it here, here and here) fired its salvo with its spring non-Intelligence Report, “The Year in Hate & Extremism.” The magazine is yet another regurgitation of the SPLC’s regular quarterly vomit used to divest widows, simpletons and progressives of their wealth so Morris Dees and his socialist partners can live the high life and work from swanky office space in downtown Montgomery, Ala.
In the report, the lie center equates liberty-minded, pro-Constitution conservative and libertarian Americans with the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi skinheads, but it draws no real nexus beyond the bogies inside Mark Potok’s collectivist brain. Potok and the lie center have created a “hate group” designation for these people: Patriots.
He begins one section, under the heading “Once Again, Gun Control Spurs the ‘Patriots,’” with this screed:
Twenty years ago, the passage of the Brady gun control bill helped ignite the first wave of the “Patriot” movement, a combustible mix of gun-toting militias and baseless conspiracy theories about government perfidy that culminated in the 1995 mass murder of 168 people in an Oklahoma City federal building.
One may recall that these “baseless conspiracy theories about government perfidy” include the Federal government’s murder by gunfire and incineration of 83 people — including women and children — living by their own choice in a compound in Waco, Texas; the cold-blooded murder of 14-year-old Sammy Weaver (who was shot in the back by U.S. Marshal Bill Degan and/or other Federal agents) and Vicki Weaver as she held her 10-month-old baby (shot in the head by the criminal FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi, who received a commendation rather than a deserved murder charge); the passage by Congress of the 2nd Amendment-shredding Federal Assault Weapons Ban in 1994,  which outlawed semi-automatic weapons based on cosmetic features alone; and the 1993 attempt to force Americans into a socialist healthcare (deathcare) system dubbed Hillarycare.
Potok then makes a leap to tie displeasure over these instances of true “government perfidy” to the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Okla., with strings that have not been proven and that likely do not exist. However, while it is certain that the “government perfidy” did lead to a growth in the number of people who realized that government was getting out of control, it is more than likely that the Oklahoma City bombing was a false flag attack designed to bolster Bill Clinton’s failing Presidency, which was at its lowest point of his two terms. I explained that here. (And there is much more evidence available for those who wish to see it.)
This explanation, which I wrote in 2010, came after Clinton joined a chorus of Democrat progressives and statists and media talking heads (apologies for the redundancy) in comparing supporters of the then-burgeoning Tea Party movement with convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh (and Branch Davidians and Randy Weaver). So you see that Potok is just reviving a tired — but somewhat successful, thanks to the mainstream media government propaganda agents, many of whom turn to the lie center for “news” — message.
And just who does Potok and the lie center name as leaders of this “radical” right “Patriot” movement made up of “racists” and “extremists?” Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.); Representative Trey Radel (R-Fla.), who has said Obama could be impeached for executive actions on gun control; Sheriff Richard Mack; The Oath Keepers (current and former military and law enforcement who have vowed to uphold the oath they swore to the Constitution); former Constitution Party Presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin; Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel Action; Tony Adkins of Conservative-daily.com; Larry Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch and FreedomWatch; the Family Research Council; Joseph Farah of WND.com; Donald Trump; and unnamed lawmakers (but you know who you are) in Arizona, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee who proposed laws that sought to prevent Federal gun control from applying to their States.
On Thursday, Senator John McCain (Senile old fool and supporter of perpetual war-Ariz.) and his trained monkey, Senator Lindsey Graham (Fascist and Liar-S.C.), denigrated Paul and also some of Paul’s allies — with fallacious and specious arguments  — over his almost 13-hour filibuster in which he sought a straight answer from President Barack Obama and/or Attorney General Eric Holder about the use of drones to kill Americans. But McCain didn’t stop there. He also took to the Senate floor to take swipes at libertarians and the liberty movement with yet more logical fallacies.
But McCain and Graham are not the first of the establishment Republicans to attempt to marginalize supporters of the Constitution and small government with ad hominems and logical fallacies. Nor is it just the establishment elected class and its propagandists who casually throw around the term “extremist” when talking about the honest, hardworking American business owners; blue- and white-collar workers; veterans; retirees and students who are linked to the liberty movement through the original grassroots local Tea Party groups and libertarian-oriented “Ron Paulites.” Notice that in the comments below articles on this site and others there are those who attempt to smear the Tea Party with baseless ad hominems and comparisons to the Taliban.
Recall that during the 2000 election, then-candidate George W. Bush ran on a platform of “compassionate conservatism.” Compassionate conservatism was, as I said at the time, doublespeak for national socialism or fascism. It was used to imply that conservative principles were somehow not compassionate and that Bush was somehow more high-minded, thinking and compassionate than those who opposed him in the primary.
That Bush was more high-minded, thinking and compassionate was not borne out by history. Bush policies are what accelerated the journey to where we now find ourselves: living in a police state engaged in perpetual war with a bloated, deficit-riddled, ever-growing government and in a time where Senators and Americans who oppose those policies are branded as extremists or potential terrorists. It was opposition to Bush policies at the end of his term that sparked the growth of the Tea Party in the first place.
It’s a sad day indeed when there is a necessity to ask whether our government feels it can label us as terrorists and disregard the Constitution and kill us without due process and when just asking the question gets you branded as an extremist or, worse, a libertarian, a  terrorist or a Patriot.
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry, Thomas Payne, John Hancock, John Adams, James Madison, James Monroe, Alexander Hamilton and a host of others were our first patriots. If their idea of government is extreme in the eyes of the SPLC, McCain and Graham, then I’m a part of the “Patriot” movement, too.
I suppose that makes the lie center, McCain, Graham and others of their ilk enemies of freedom and, therefore, extremist enemies of America. Maybe they’ll be featured in the SPLC’s next issue.
