She Is A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) met with Abbas Hamideh, a Palestinian activist who glorified child murderer Samir Kuntar as a “legendary Hezbollah martyr.”

By: JNS.org
“I was honored to be at Congresswoman @RashidaTlaib swearing in ceremony in #Detroit and private dinner afterward with the entire family, friends and activists across the country. #Palestine #TweetYourThobe #RashidaTlaib,” tweeted Abbas Hamideh.
Hamideh, executive director of the U.S.-based Palestine Right to Return Coalition, has equated Zionists to Nazis, said Israel has a “delusional ISIS-like ideology” and labeled the nation’s founding a “crime.”
The meeting on Saturday sparked condemnation from the pro-Israel community.
“Unfortunately, we really aren’t surprised. Tlaib is turning out to be the exact person we were warning she is. What is perhaps the worst part about this is, Democrats won’t do a single thing about it, nor will Democratic Jewish groups,” Republican Jewish Coalition spokesperson Neil Strauss told JNS. “And it’s all because they’re afraid to stand up to their rabidly anti-Israel, far-left base.”
However, the Jewish Democratic Council of America slammed Tlaib and Hamideh.
“JDCA stands unequivocally against Abbas Hamideh’s radical record and his extremist anti-Israel views which should be condemned by all,” the organization told JNS. “Since August of last year, JDCA has repeatedly stated our strong policy disagreements with Rep. Rashida Tlaib and we urge her to make clear where she stands with regard to Abbas Hamideh.”
Max Samarov, StandWithUs executive director of Research and Campus Strategy, told JNS: “It is disturbing that a member of Congress would pose with an extremist who glorified child murderer Samir Kuntar as a ‘legendary Hezbollah martyr.’ Political leaders should not associate with racists or supporters of terrorism.”
Christians United for Israel “has decided that we are not going to dignify Rep. Tlaib’s steady drumbeat of appalling statements and actions with a response,” spokesperson Ari Morgenstern told JNS.
Zionist Organization of America president Mort Klein told JNS that his organization “condemns Rashida Tlaib for meeting with a fellow anti-Semite seeking Israel’s destruction, Abbas Hamideh, founder of Al-Awda – The Palestine Right of Return Coalition. This [is] further evidence of her hatred of Jews and the Jewish state of Israel.”

Support for BDS, Lies About Israel

“Tlaib supports BDS and openly calls for the replacement of Israel by an Arab-dominated state, thus seeking to deny Jews the sovereign independence she demands for Palestinian Arabs,” he continued. “She lies about Israel, claiming it discriminates against those ‘darker skinned.’”
“The ZOA urges Democratic Congressional leaders Senator Charles Schumer (D–N.Y.), Speaker of the House Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D–Calif.) and other Democrats to condemn Tlaib for her vicious anti-Israel words and deeds,” he added.
Last week, in response to a bill in the Senate that includes combating the anti-Israel BDS movement, Tlaib attacked Republican lawmakers and opponents of BDS by tweeting: “They forgot what country they represent.”
She continued, “This is the U.S. where boycotting is a right & part of our historical fight for freedom & equality. Maybe a refresher on our U.S. Constitution is in order, then get back to opening up our government instead of taking our rights away.”

With the news about Russia, Andrew McCabe being fired hours before
his retirement, Rex Tillerson being fired, and a tragic pedestrian bridge
collapse at Florida International University, you might have missed a
stabbing at a birthday sleepover in the Sunshine State, in which the
attacker, a teenager, said he committed the act because of his Islamic
religion. The assailant, Corey Johnson, 17, said he read the Koran
before launching a vicious knife attack against the host family. The celebration
was held at the house of Elaine Simon, who along with her 13-year-old son,
Dane, were stabbed by Johnson a total of 44 times. Johnson killed Jovanni
Brand, who was celebrating his birthday, in the attack. Johnson was on the
FBI’s radar for making threats to a school in the United Kingdom on social
media last year. Police reports suggest that almost 100 students were
actually transferred out of that school because of the nature of the threats
that were sent. The attack occurred last Monday, March 12. Johnson had
barricaded himself before surrendering to police, according to the Sun
Sentinel...
A teenager invoked his Muslim faith as the reason he killed a 13-year-old

boy and also stabbed a woman and her son, Palm Beach Gardens police

said Tuesday.

Police say Corey Johnson, 17, of Jupiter, was sleeping over at the home of

Elaine Simon when the knife attack happened early Monday.

Police say Johnson killed another boy who was sleeping over — 13-year-old

Jovanni Brand — by stabbing him repeatedly and cutting his throat. It was

Jovanni’s birthday.

Crime And Punishment Under Sharia Law.

Indonesian Christians flogged outside of mosque for violating sharia law

Indonesia publicly caned two Christians in a rare case of non-Muslims punished under sharia law.
The two Indonesian Christians – Dahlan Silitonga, 61, and Tjia Nyuk Hwa, 45 – were whipped six and seven times respectively by a masked man wearing a robe, as a crowd of 300 ridiculed and took pictures of them outside a mosque in the provincial capital, Banda Aceh.
The strict Islamic law punishment against the Christian man and woman comes as the predominently Muslim country shifts to a more radical, politicized version of Islam, Reuters reported.

The pair – among five people punished – was accused of gambling. Police said they were playing a game at a children’s entertainment complex that lets users exchange coins for prizes or vouchers, including cash. They were beaten with a rattan stick, while another man involved with them got 19 lashes.
Another couple was whipped two dozen times for showing affection in public.
Banda Aceh is the only province in Indonesia that imposes sharia law since it was adopted in 2001 as part of a deal with the central government to end a long-running insurgency. The province has flogged its non-Muslim citizens for a range of offenses – from gambling to selling alcohol to having gay or extramarital sex.
“This is to create a deterrent effect, in order for people not to repeat violations of Islamic sharia law,” Banda Aceh’s mayor Aminullah Usman said. “We purposely do it in front of the public ... so it won’t happen again.”

Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world.
Around 98% of Banda Aceh’s population are Muslims subject to sharia law, but the other portion, Christians and other non-Muslims, when accused of violating both national and religious laws can choose to be prosecuted under either system, often opting for a flogging to avoid a lengthy, costly court process and jail time.
In January, a Christian man was whipped 36 times for selling alcohol and recently the country came under fire after police arrested and publicly humiliated transgender people.
Last year, Indonesia jailed Christian governor, Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, for blaspheming the Koran, prompting massive protests and pushback on the country’s stance as a bulwark of tolerance and pluralism in the Islamic world.

Freedom Of Speech And Religion Violated In New Jersey

Alert: Fed Court Says Criticism of Islam Can Be Punished

 Print

The First Amendment guarantees that the government cannot suppress free speech or favor a religion — but a court in New Jersey is violating both of those promises.
According to a report from the Thomas More Law Center, residents of Bernards Township, New Jersey, have been banned from bringing up the topic of Muslims or Islam at an upcoming public hearing.
That public forum is intended to determine whether a mosque should be built in the community.

You read that right: Authorities have essentially banned citizens from uttering the words “Muslim” or “Islam” at a public debate that centers on that very religion.
The controversy is focused on a settlement order from a district court, which appears to blatantly violate free speech protections.
“No commentary regarding Islam or Muslims will be permitted,” states a legally binding court order about the mosque hearing.

Violators, it seems clear, will be punished by being prohibited from speaking. It’s a tactic that smacks of the Shariah-controlled lands of the Middle East, or other totalitarian societies like communist nations under Soviet domination — not an American township in the state of New Jersey.
In response to the controversial order, the Thomas More Law Center has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Christopher and Loretta Quick, who live just 200 feet away from the proposed mosque site.
“TMLC’s lawsuit alleges that Bernards Township’s settlement agreement constitutes a prior restraint on speech based on content, as well as, a violation of the (First Amendment) Establishment Clause because it prefers Islam over other religions,” the law center explained.

The lawsuit claims that preventing local citizens from voicing their concerns about the “Islamic” nature of the mosque is not only unfair, but also unconstitutional.
“The Quicks reside within 200 feet of the proposed mosque construction in a zoned residential area. Yet, the settlement agreement prohibits them from describing the many unique features of Islamic worship,” the Thomas More Law Center stated.
Additionally, the lawsuit argues that the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge, or “ISBR,” is permitted to make any sort of comments about Jews or Christians without restriction, but the government is actively suppressing free speech in the other direction.
“While claiming that the Township had a religious animus against Muslims, ISBR hid from the public view its animus toward Christians and Jews, by not only hiding anti-Christian and anti-Semitic verses published on its website, but also hiding its significant ties to ISNA [Islamic Society of North America],” attorney Richard Thompson explained in a news release.
“Instead of standing up to defend its citizens against ISBR’s hate-filled anti-Semitic and anti-Christian bias, the Township colluded with ISBR’s ‘Civilization Jihad’ by capitulating to payment of millions of dollars to ISBR, allowing the construction of the new mosque and Islamic center in violation of zoning codes, and now even suppressing speech concerning Islam or Muslims at a public meeting,” Thompson continued.
True enough, the court-ordered settlement which forbids citizens from bringing up their concerns about Islam is clearly printed for anyone to see.
The free discussion of ideas, even if they are critical or controversial, is one of the fundamentals of American liberty.
After all, the First Amendment wouldn’t be necessary at all if everyone shared identical opinions. Protecting the right to hold views with which some group — or the government — disagrees  is the very reason speech protections exist in the first place.
It is hard to imagine the Founding Fathers forbidding the open debate of a specific topic.
Hopefully, freedom of speech will prevail… or our country may have deeper problems than we realize.
Please share this article on Facebook if you believe that free speech is an unalienable right!

Another Muslim Immigrant Does The Deed

Savage Muslim Commits

Unspeakable Acts Against

 North Carolina Woman

A 34-year-old Muslim immigrant is being held without bail in Raleigh, North
Carolina—after the violent rape of a North Carolina woman last month.

Mohammad Imthais Alam turned him in at the Wake County Detention Center,
and faces a litany of charges: first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping,
assault on a female, and second-degree forcible sexual offense.

The details of Alam’s brutal rape aren’t yet known—but police report that the
victim knew Alam before she was assaulted.

Based on the charges filed under North Carolina law, Alam likely used a
weapon and “inflicted serious personal injury” on his victim, before raping
her. He also likely falsely imprisoned his victim while he was raping her.

If convicted, Alam could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Main Stream Media Normalizing Potential First Michigan Muslim Governor

This 32-year-old doctor could be America's first Muslim governor

abdulAbdul El-SayedAbdulforMichigan
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed believes he's living the American Dream.
Born to two Egyptian immigrants in Gratiot County, Michigan, the 32-year-old has done it all.
El-Sayed became a doctor, educator and civil servant all before the age of 32. Now, he has set his eyes on yet another milestone: to become the governor of Michigan.
"I'm not running to be the first Muslim governor," El-Sayed said in a phone interview. "I'm running because I believe I will be the best governor for the state of Michigan — whether or not I'm Muslim."

El-Sayed could be both the youngest person to be elected governor, since Bill Clinton in 1978, and the first Muslim in the United States to do so. But despite his accomplishments and dedication to transforming Detroit's health department, El-Sayed has to face another challenge: overcoming the rising levels of anti-Muslim sentiment in the current social and political climate.
"My faith is really important to me, as it is for many Americans and Michiganders," El-Sayed said. "But I think we should be asking ourselves rather than how one prays, or what they pray to, we should ask ourselves what [one] prays for and what one hopes for."
While El-Sayed said his Islamic values are at the center of his work as a civil servant, he wants people to know his number one priority is to serve the people of Michigan.
"My focus is, has always been, and will always be people," El-Sayed said during his campaign announcement speech on Saturday.  "My work has always been about building and leading the kinds of institutions that create opportunities for real people by breaking down the barriers that they face in their lives to being able to have the opportunity we want for my children. That work has never been more important than it is today."
But some residents in the state may not be ready to see a Muslim governor. In the last several years, Michigan has been a hotbed of Islamophobia. Dearborn, a predominantly Arab-American city in the Detroit metro area, has been a frequent target of anti-Muslim activists, conspiracy theories and fake news. But El-Sayed doesn't want Michigan residents to be distracted by anti-Muslim rhetoric and violence — and he wants people to know that the principles of Islam are what guide his service.
"I am running because of the values my Islam teaches me — which includes beliefs in equity, the fundamental rights of all people, a belief that we will judge ourselves as a people based on how we treat the most vulnerable," El-Sayed said. "A belief in being good to others fundamentally, a belief in respect and dignity to one's neighbors and one's friends and one's family."
El-Sayed has dedicated much of his life to the public. Under Mike Duggan's mayorship of Detroit, El-Sayed was appointed executive director of the city's Department of Health and Wellness Promotion in Sept. 2015 when he was 30 years old — the youngest health commissioner in all major U.S. cities. In early February, El-Sayed resigned from his position at the Department of Health to announce his bid for governor.
Throughout his term, El-Sayed has dedicated much of his work to children and families. In Detroit city schools, El-Sayed worked to provide free eyeglasses for children and tested lead contamination in the schools' water supply in the immediate aftermath of the Flint, Michigan, water crisis. He worked to combat unplanned pregnancies and reduce the infant mortality rate in the city. He also charged the way forward in poison reduction and successfully made the city promise to reduce emissions from the Marathon Petroleum's refinery in southwest Detroit.
El-Sayed came from humble beginnings. His parents, now divorced, immigrated to the United States from Egypt hoping to find a better life for themselves. He grew up under the care of his father Mohammad, an engineering professor, and his stepmother Jacqueline in the Detroit metro area. El-Sayed's mother Dr. Fatten Elkomy is a nurse practitioner in Missouri.
He was raised in Michigan's public schools where he was the captain of his high school football, wrestling and lacrosse teams. He later on went to play lacrosse for the University of Michigan and graduated with high distinction in 2007. El-Sayed was then provided with a dean's scholarship for his medical degree at the University of Michigan and went to Peru for a medical mission trip where he found a student organization to establish a local clinic to provide free medical care.
Then in 2009, El-Sayed was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship and received his doctoral degree in public health from Oxford University. El-Sayed earned his medical degree from Columbia University where he became an assistant professor at the university's Mailman School of Public Health.
El-Sayed said his own upbringing and accomplishment has made him appreciate the idea of America and the fact he had the ability to live the American Dream.
"This idea of America is so much bigger than anyone," El-Sayed said. "I know what it looks like to live in a country that doesn't respect fundamental civil rights or pluralism, equity or care for the most vulnerable. I only have to think of my cousins who don't have what I have, because they weren't lucky enough to be born in the country I was born in. It's why America is an idea I fight for."
