Got To Watch Out For Those Armed Citizens, They Could Be Dangerous!

TOP COP: MILITARIZED VEHICLES NEEDED TO DEAL WITH “ANTI-GOVERNMENT” GROUPS

MRAPs justified by domestic terror threat, claims Officer Steve Rabinovich

In an article for popular law enforcement website PoliceOne.com, Officer Steve Rabinovich writes that the controversial use of militarized vehicles in domestic law enforcement situations is necessary to deal with the threat posed by “anti-government groups.”
Rabinovich boasts an impressive list of credentials, with his assignments including Emergency Response Team, Crisis Intervention, ERU, Mounted and dignitary details. Rabinovich also teaches other police and emergency medical responders at his state’s technical college system.
Acknowledging that law enforcement bodies have received “criticisms from their communities” for utilizing the Department of Defense’s 1033 Program to acquire militarized vehicles previously used to hunt insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan, Rabinovich cites domestic terrorism and “a steady increase in deadly and violent assaults on cops” as good reasons for police departments acquiring MRAPs and other military gear.
Rabinovich also points to “violent anti-government groups and individuals” who are“targeting cops as scapegoats” as another factor that justifies the use of militarized vehicles.
At no point does Rabinovich cite any actual studies showing violence against cops is on the increase, nor does he provide an example of any “anti-government group” that has launched a violent attack on police officers.
“The American law enforcement officer is expected to be able to work problems ranging from a traffic stop, noise complaint, or a domestic, to a terrorist act, mass murderer, or natural disaster. While your local town may or may not respond to terrorists planting explosives during a mass gathering event, a barricaded gunman or hostage situation is quite plausible scenario, and tools such as an MRAP will prove indispensable when that time comes,” writes Rabinovich.
“Police work isn’t becoming increasingly dangerous, even with the supposed corresponding uptick in “domestic and international terrorism,” points out the MassPrivateI blog. “Rabinovich must know this assertion won’t hold up because he adds the ridiculous claim that attacks on cops are ignored by much of the media or never reported at all. The exact opposite is the truth. In addition, the number of officers killed or wounded by civilians is a stat tracked by nearly every law enforcement agency. Civilians killed or wounded by police officers are stats tracked by amateurs, despite the fact that the DoJ has ordered these numbers to be reported annually — an order that has been mostly ignored for the last thirteen years.”
As we have exhaustively documented, many see the growing militarization of domestic police departments as a clear signal that law enforcement increasingly views the American people as a threat, with Indiana Police Sergeant Dan Downing admitting earlier this year that the increasing militarization of domestic police departments is partly to deal with returning veterans who are now seen as a homegrown terror threat.
During the height of the Ferguson unrest earlier this summer, MSNBC host Ed Schultz opined that such militarized equipment and vehicles was needed to deal with “anti-government” groups, while former Marine Paul Szoldra offered a different view, warning that scenes in Ferguson illustrated the “terrifying” result of the militarization of police, with the American people now being treated like insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Former Marine Corps Colonel Peter Martino, who was stationed in Fallujah and trained Iraqi soldiers, warned last year that the Department of Homeland Security is working with law enforcement to build a “domestic army,” because the federal government is afraid of its own citizens.
Martino was speaking at a council meeting concerning a decision to purchase a BearCat armored vehicle. The purchase of the vehicle was mired in controversy after the city’s Police Chief wrote in an application filing to the DHS that the vehicle was needed to deal with the “threat” posed by libertarians, sovereign citizen adherents, and Occupy activists in the region.

Another Day, Another Military Purchase By Local Police. What Does Local Government Need With A Helicopter With Such Lethal Capabilities?

See What this State Just Bought to “Police” Its Citizens

lakota-copterResidents in Indiana can expect to see military grade helicopters keeping tabs on them from up high in the sky.
That’s because Indiana has just purchased two UH-72 Lakota helicopters, which will be used for domestic police use, search and rescue, as well as for “homeland security.”
The Lakota is one of the world’s most sophisticated helicopters, so it’s not entirely clear why the police in Indiana would need a military grade helicopter.
The Lakota is well-known for its maneuverability, its power, and its ability to detect small weapons and objects (such as license plates) from a significant distance… all while avoiding detection. Here’s a video that advertises its capabilities…
Right now the Lakota is being used by Homeland Security at the Mexican border in an attempt to track and curb rampant drug trafficking and to secure the nation’s border.
But the narrative for why the Lakota is being used in middle America doesn’t quite fit.
As many pro-freedom and pro-liberty groups have noted, the government seems to be gearing up to eliminate any form of resistance, even if it’s just online banter.
The sweeping data-collection, the massive collection of armored vehicles, ammunition buy-ups, along with the use of more force by federal authorities shows the government isn’t about to let power slip away anytime soon.
And all of this is happening in plain sight.
Now it looks like the purchase of these helicopters might just be another means for the state to bolster its armaments so they’ll be ready when the time comes to use them.
As Infowars relayed:
“Former Marine Corps Colonel Peter Martino, who was stationed in Fallujah and trained Iraqi soldiers, warned last year that the Department of Homeland Security is working with law enforcement to build a ‘domestic army,’ because the federal government is afraid of its own citizens.
Martino was speaking at a council meeting concerning a decision to purchase a BearCat armored vehicle. The purchase of the vehicle was surrounded by controversy after the city’s Police Chief wrote in an application filing to the DHS that the vehicle was needed to deal with the ‘threat’ posed by libertarians, sovereign citizen adherents, and Occupy activists in the region.”
Police are supposed to “serve and protect” the people living in their jurisdictions, but it seems this is no longer the true purpose of many police.
Rather, their purpose seems to have evolved to oppress citizens and “keep people in line.” Seen in this light, the purchase of the Lakota choppers makes perfect sense.

Here We Go Again--Belgium School Children Taught To Hate Jews

The longer we live, the less enthralled we are with the human race. It seems that at every turn, we homo-sapiens, descend to a level unseen in the animal kingdom. We hate people we do not know. We want to destroy others when they do not believe as we do.  And we create weapons to destroy those who are not like ourselves.

A black cow does not hate a brown or white one, nor does it  shun the others or want to kill the others. Animals do not kill for sport, they do so to eat and survive. How come humans do? A herd of gazelle don't want to control the elephants? Even the "king of the jungle" only wants to raise his young and survive.  Why are humans so different?

It makes one wonder if we are indeed the highest evolved animals on earth or the lowest? Sometimes when we read articles like the following, it really makes us step back and shake our head. How could a horrific event like the Holocaust, be so minimized? In the first place, how could humans treat other humans in this most de-humanizing way.

We humans should be ashamed of our treatment of our fellow man. We are wondering--is there a place where we can register our complaint? It isn't at the UN or in any of the nation's capitals.

Can we as a species continue to treat others of our kind in such a hostile fashion and survive? Please let us know what you think?

Jew Hatred Officially Backed by Belgium

Peter Martino - Gatestone Institute,  September 16th, 2013

Belgian children aged 6 to 12 are being instilled with a hatred for Jews that is so deep, that one day “Never Again” might indeed become “Over Again,” and with the same victims as before: the Jews.

Shockingly, in Belgium, history lessons about Nazism and the Holocaust are currently being used to infuse children with hatred against Israel.

The Belgian Ministry of Education funds an organization, the Special Committee for Remembrance Education (BCH), which provides teachers with ready-made templates for their history lessons. In its September issue, Joods Actueel, the largest Jewish magazine in Belgium, describes this educational material as “perverted.” The so-called Remembrance Education, the magazine writes, “has degenerated into an instrument to infect youngsters with hatred of Israel and anti-Semitism.”

One of the materials used is the cartoon “Never Again, Over Again.” It equates the treatment of the Palestinians by the Israelis today with the treatment of the Jews by the Nazis in the 1930s and 40s.

“Never Again means that what happened under Hitler should never happen again. And Over Again means that what is happening today is the same as in the past with Hitler,” the Belgian school teachers are told. “In the past, the concentration camps were fenced off with barbed wire. Today, the border between Israel and Palestine is marked with barbed wire and a wall.”

The atrocities committed by the Nazis are linked to the so-called atrocities of Israel. Teachers indoctrinated with teaching material provided by an organization that is sanctioned by the Ministry of Education, in turn indoctrinate the school children in their care.

The material of the Special Committee for Remembrance Education is frequently used by primary school teachers, who seem to have little knowledge of history. Two Belgian researchers, Jan Swerts and Kurt Monten of the Catholic College of Limburg, found that young people studying to become teachers know amazingly little about history. Many of them were unable to tell in which century the Second World War took place. They knew hardly anything about major ideologies such as Socialism and Communism. Ten percent of them even confused Zionism with Fascism. They are easy prey for the anti-Semites who author some of the material provided by the Special Committee for Remembrance Education.

The educational material also includes a “role play,” in which children must play Palestinians and Israelis. The Palestinians are invariably good people who are confronted by the Israelis, who are almost always bad people, with the exception of the odd Israeli with many Palestinian friends.

One of the roles assigned to a child is the following: “You have sympathy for the radical group Hamas. You live in Gaza and go to work every day in Israel. It takes you four hours to go to work as you need to pass the border control between Gaza and Israel. You are already on your way at 4 a.m. You have two children in primary school. As a consequence, the death of a Palestinian girl shot by Israeli soldiers in the school playground has shocked you deeply. Israel denies having shot the children, but according to representatives of the United Nations in Gaza everything indicates that she was killed by the Israelis. Hamas has fired six rockets towards Israel. Israel has to stop with its attacks.”

The Belgian Ministry of Education and the Special Committee for Remembrance Education fail to provide teachers with the information that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, or that the suffering of the Jews in the Nazi extermination camps is in no way be comparable to the situation in Gaza. It would suffice to point out that the Jews arriving in Auschwitz had only a few hours or a few days to live, while life expectancy for the Palestinians in Gaza and on the West Bank is 72 years.

The cartoon “Never Again, Over Again,” is the work of a Brazilian artist of Arab origin, Carlos Latuff, who is known for his anti-Semitic motifs and especially his preposterous claim that the Palestinians are in the same position as the Jews were under Nazi tyranny. He once depicted a Jewish boy in the Warsaw Ghetto as saying, “I am Palestinian.” In the 2006 Iranian Holocaust Cartoon Competition, Latuff won a second prize.

What would the 6 million Jews who died in Hitler's extermination camps have said if they had known that 70 years later their deaths would be abused to indoctrinate schoolchildren with anti-Jewish feelings? Surely, they would have felt as if they were being killed twice.

That a Latuff cartoon is used in Belgian schools in lessons that are ostensibly designed to remember the Holocaust, is particularly worrying. They instill Belgian children aged 6 to 12 with a hatred for the Jews that is so deep that one day the “Never Again” may indeed become an “Over Again,” and with the same victims as before: the Jews. The authorities, such as the Belgian Ministry of Education, that have facilitated the indoctrination of children with this anti-Semitism, will be directly responsible.
