Where Is The Coverage On This? Don't Worry She Will Walk!

‘Palestinian’ woman threatens to kill everyone on United flight to Dallas

“I’m going to stab everyone on this plane. Then kill myself. I’m Palestinian!” she screamed.
By World Israel News Staff
A self-proclaimed Palestinian woman was arrested on board a flight to Dallas over the weekend for assaulting a Federal Air Marshal and threatening to stab everyone on the plane.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, Dana Ghazi Mustafa, 27, assaulted a Federal Air Marshal on Saturday while flying on a United Airlines flight from Frankfurt to Dallas.
During the flight, flight attendants were alerted to the activation of a flight lavatory smoke detector, encountered Mustafa in the lavatory and directed her to not smoke aboard the aircraft and return to her seat. Mustafa then started to cry and said that she just found out that her family had died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.
Shortly afterward she got up from her seat again and walked to the rear of the plane while striking the flint of a lighter. As a flight attendant attempted to stop Mustafa from entering the lavatory, Mustafa pushed the flight attendant and tried to close the lavatory.
When two Federal Air Marshals tried to intercede, she started yelling and kicking them.
After being handcuffed and relocated next to a Federal Air Marshal, Mustafa yelled “I’m going to stab everyone on this plane. Then kill myself. I’m Palestinian! That’s how we get down.”
According to an FBI who agent interrogated Mustafa her after landing in Dallas, Mustafa admitted that she lied about her family being killed by a drunk driver.
On Monday, Mustafa was charged with assaulting a federal officer, and if convicted faces a maximum penalty of eight years in prison.

The More We Find Out About Sheila "Queen" Jackson Lee, The More We Believe In Term Limits

Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has been causing problems on U.S. flights for decades

In response to an accusation that she stole a passenger’s seat on a United Airlines flight last week, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tx.) has raised a questionable defense: racism.
The congresswoman, who is noted for her abusive treatment of flight staff, said that she was accused of receiving preferential treatment because of racism. Jackson Lee is black.
According to a writer for the Washington Examiner, this isn’t out of the norm. Jackson Lee, who sits on the Committee on Homeland Security and is a ranking member of the subcommittee on transportation, may have developed an entitlement complex:
The Democrat has developed a reputation for making life hell for any clerk, stewardess, or pilot unwilling or unable to make her three-and-a-half-hour flight anything less than glamorous. She takes advantage of federal travel perks to book multiple flights (only to cancel at the last minute and at no charge). She demands an upgrade to premier seats. She expects, in her words, “to be treated like a queen.”

United Airlines incident

United Airlines was accused by passenger Jean-Marie Simon of giving her first-class seat to Jackson Lee. Simon purchased her ticket to travel from Houston to Washington on December 3.
When she attempted to board her flight, she was told by gate staff that her ticket was “not in the system”. She was given a $500 voucher and was then seated in the Economy Plus section.
After the flight was delayed, she noticed Rep. Jackson Lee boarding the plan before the other passengers, accompanied by a flight attendant. Simon boarded the plane and took a photo of Jackson Lee sitting in her first-class seat.
When Simon complained that Jackson Lee had received preferential treatment, she was asked by a flight attendant if she was “going to be a problem.”
In a statement, Jackson Lee denied any wrongdoing and said that she didn’t ask for anything “exceptional or out of the ordinary and received nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary.”
She ended her statement by somehow tying the incident to race and diversity:
“Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African-American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African-American flight attendant who was very, very nice,” the congresswoman said.
“I hope one day, we will accept our collective diversity,” she added.
United Airlines denied giving Jackson Lee preferential treatment and claims that Simon canceled her flight using the United mobile app. Simon denied canceling her flight and sent a screenshot to the Houston Chronicle of her United profile showing the flight as “inactive.”
United responded that because Simon eventually took her flight, it would not say “canceled” on her profile. Simon denied accusations of racism, saying that she had no idea who had been given her seat when she complained that her seat had been given up.
“There is no way you can see who is in a seat from inside the terminal,” she added.

Her Majesty?

According to the Washington Times, Jackson Lee has a reputation for being a difficult passenger. A lousy passenger is a lousy passenger, no matter their race.
In 1998, she allegedly berated a Continental Airlines flight attendant for failing to serve her seafood. “Don’t you know who I am?” she reportedly said. “I’m Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Where is my seafood meal? I know it was ordered!”

The incident prompted Continental’s head of government relations to tell Jackson Lee to either control herself or fly with a competitor.
The congresswoman apparently has a reputation for being a nightmare boss. Huffington Post and the Houston Chronicle reported that she went through 11 chiefs of staff in 11 years. Huffington Post notes that she regularly appears on the Washingtonian’s list of the “Best and Worst of Congress” as the “meanest” member of the House.

A former staffer once told the Houston Press that Jackson Lee berated her, saying, “I am a queen, and I demand to be treated like a queen.”
This may not be a race problem; it could just be a Sheila problem.

United Airlines Scores Another Black Eye

Bay Area flier says United canceled his ticket after he filmed baggage dispute in New Orleans

""
A Bay Area flier named Navang Oza, who was traveling from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to San Francisco International Airport on May 4, says a United Airlines ticket agent canceled his flight after he began filming an altercation they were having.
Oza said the agent was attempting to charge him $300 for his bag, which exceeded the 50-pound limit. Oza contends that the same bag holding the same contents only cost him $125 in his flight out of SFO to New Orleans, which caused the disagreement.
At this point it was 4 a.m., and the confrontation escalated to the point where Oza began filming — within his right in a public place, despite what the agent suggests — apparently leading the agent to cancel his flight ticket. United has since apologized, but Oza is attempting to get the company to reimburse him for a one-way flight he had to book on a different airline to get home.
As he later told NBC Bay Area, "the lady was being rude...I was shocked because I didn't know she had the right to cancel my flight because I started recording."
Just about a minute after Oza begins filming the agent, she begins filming him as well, which Oza initially posted to his Facebook page as part of a raw 13-minute video (it has since been deleted). She instructs a co-worker to cancel his ticket, and informs him that "until that [recording] is erased, you're not traveling."

LATEST NEWS VIDEOS

United has responded to the incident, saying, "The video does not reflect the positive customer experience we strive to offer, and for that we apologize. We are reviewing this situation, including talking with Mr. Oza and our employees to better understand what happened."
Some reports point out that Oza confirmed he drank two beers before heading to the airport, and he might have been inebriated.
SFist writes that in his since-deleted public post, Oza says "when the cops got there they said I was drunk when I only had 2 beers before getting to the airport with my colleagues from work."
The airline did not confirm the reason Oza's ticket was canceled, and it also did not comment as to what happened before Oza began filming.
The incident comes after a tumultuous couple months for United Airlines. In early April, the airline came under fire for forcibly removing a passenger from a flight, injuring him in the process. Again, just last week, another passenger headed to Paris who does not speak English boarded the incorrect flight and landed in San Francisco.

There’s been a new development on the Simon, the dead giant bunny story. And now United Airlines claims the bunny was alive when the plane landed. Susana Victoria Perez (@susana_vp) has more.Buzz60

The airline also cremated the rabbit without its owners' permission, an attorney said.

DES MOINES — A 3-foot giant rabbit that died last month following a United Airlines flight from London may have mistakenly been placed in a freezer by airline employees, a Des Moines attorney announced Monday.
Simon, a Continental Giant rabbit, was purchased by an Iowa-based ownership group with hopes that he could win the Iowa State Fair's biggest rabbit contest in August and be used to help raise money for the fair and its Blue Ribbon Foundation.
But the giant rabbit was found dead following a United flight from London to Chicago.
Des Moines trial attorney Guy Cook announced at a press conference on Monday that the owners are demanding an independent investigation into Simon's death. At least one airline employee has reportedly said that Simon may have been inadvertently locked in a freezer for up to 16 hours after arriving in Chicago.
Additionally, the rabbit was cremated by United following its death, making an autopsy to determine what exactly happened impossible, Cook said. That action by the airline was tantamount to "destroying evidence" in the case, he said. The airline cremated the remains without the permission of the ownership group, he said.
"Whatever the cause of Simon's death may be, Simon died in the care of United Airlines' and its decision to destroy his remains establishes a reckless disregard for the Simon Group's rights and are indicative of the negligent care United Airlines provided Simon," a demand letter from the attorney reads.
In addition to the investigation, the ownership group is demanding the airline to pay for the purchase price of the rabbit, shipping costs and the "economic loss" of the rabbit's death. The demand letter gives United seven days to respond before a lawsuit is filed.
The giant bunny was purchased from British rabbit breeder Annette Edwards, who told the Sun newspaper that Simon had a check-up with a vet three hours before the flight and was “fit as a fiddle.” Edwards owns Simon’s four-foot long father, Darius, who currently holds the title as the world’s biggest rabbit.
“Something very strange has happened and I want to know what,” Edwards told the newspaper. “I’ve sent rabbits all around the world and nothing like this has happened before.”
The rabbit’s death added to the airlines’ headaches last month: United was widely criticized after video was made public of a 69-year-old passenger being dragged off a flight at Chicago O’Hare International to make room for a crew member.
PETA has criticized United, saying the rabbit's death "is not unique." It said "more than 300 animals have died in cargo holds since 2005, and many more have been been injured or lost."
The rabbit's three main owners were retired Wells Fargo executive Mark Oman, People's Co. president Steve Breure and Benning Financial partner Duke Reichardt.
