Are Ferguson And Palestine One In The Same? Only In The Rat Infested BDS Movement!

ferguson-palestine

While it was previously just a small town in the Midwestern United States known primarily as a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, Ferguson is now a household name.
On August 9, 2014, an unarmed black teenager named Michael Brown was shot and killed by a white police officer. As a result, racial tensions in the town of 20,000 people came to a boil, with the killing sparking a wave of rioting and violent protests that sent ripples throughout the United States.shutterstock_212253745
In an attempt to bring calm to the area, police came out in full riot gear, using crowd dispersal methods, including tear gas. Trying to portray the clash between protestors and law enforcement as a war zone, some demonstrators made a bizarre connection between Ferguson and the situation in Gaza, where Hamas waged a war this summer against Israel.

Ferguson as the New Gaza?

Given the current trend of anti-Israel media bias, it didn’t take long for the staggeringly inaccurate comparison between Ferguson and Gaza to become fashionable.

One Facebook commentator observed, “Interesting how they didn’t say it felt like: Crimea, Hong Kong, Dimashq [Damascus], Baghdad, Kobane, Mosul, Argentina, etc but were so specific in their comparison.”
As protesting turned into uprising, the comparisons between Ferguson and Gaza became more frequent. People with no understanding as to the reality on the ground in Ferguson characterized Gaza as a place where people get shot because of their ethnicity.
Yesterday, after three long months, a St. Louis grand jury announced that it would not be indicting the police officer.
That decision set off a wave of anger among gathered protesters awaiting the verdict. Into the night, the violence grew more intense as rioters set buildings on fire and rampant looting ensued.
Meanwhile, in cities across America, people began to protest in the streets in solidarity with the community of Ferguson and what they deemed a grave injustice. In Seattle, Washington, for instance, protesters hit the streets in the hundreds to show their indignation at the decision.

What does Israel have to do with it?

Ferguson palestine signBDS’ attempt to capitalize on a young man’s death and the unrest that erupted in its wake is yet another example of the movement’s desperate attempts to smear Israel. More Violence In Ferguson. Will It Ever End?

From Conservative Tribune:

URGENT: Race Rioters Throw Rocks, Metal Rod at Ferguson Police [PICTURES]

Five people were arrested outside the Ferguson, Mo., Police Department Wednesday night after protesters threw objects at police officers.
Demonstrators threw rocks, water bottles and a metal rod, hitting five officers, but there were no injuries reported.
Residents and activists have demonstrated in Ferguson and nearby St. Louis daily since the Aug. 9 shooting of teenager Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson. Despite a series of evidence leaks from the grand jury investigation looking into whether to indict Wilson for the shooting that seem to corroborate the officer’s version of events, the demonstrations show no sign of diminishing.
The situation Wednesday night grew tense when a crowd of about 200 activists marched on the headquarters building. The crowd knocked over barricades and blocked traffic, St. Louis County Police Sgt. Brian Schellman told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (H/T Gateway Pundit).
Additional law enforcement was sent to the county headquarters building when some demonstrators made a second attempt to break through the barriers.
The crowd had shrunk to a handful of people by 2 a.m., Schellman told the Post-Dispatch.
Police filed misdemeanor charges of “peace disturbance or failure to disperse” against the five individuals arrested. Of the five, four were local residents of Ferguson, St. Louis, or University City. The fifth was from Ellisville, Miss.
Here are pictures from the evening:

While we fully support the right of any and all Americans to peacefully protest the actions or inaction of their government at the local, state, or federal level, no thinking individual condones violence as a protected — or even a helpful — part of such protests.
The fact that one of the five arrested was from Mississippi demonstrates the presence of outside agitators in Ferguson who, at this point, just need to go home. The residents of Ferguson, Mo., have enough trouble on their own.

Isn't It Time Americans Of All Colors Condemn The Rioting In Ferguson?

“He that spares his rod hates his son: but he that loves him chastens him early.” – Proverbs 13:24
As I watch the racial unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help but compare the behavior of blacks in that city to that of spoiled rotten children.
Blacks have been rioting and fighting with police after the shooting death of a thug, Michael Brown. And white political and law enforcement leaders have given in to their tantrum like weak parents.
How did we get to the point of having Al “the Riot King” Sharpton as the White House point person for racial reconciliation – and having a racist attorney general like Eric Holder come to the rescue of Ferguson?
Foolish blacks jumped to false conclusions about the death of “gentle giant” Michael Brown. Protesters looted businesses and even targeting the same convenience store that Brown robbed.
Obama predictably weighed in, warning police about using excessive force. Surrendering to the political pressure, Gov. Jay Nixon, D-Mo., (one of the weakest white men I’ve seen!) pulled the Ferguson Police off the case, and placed Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson in charge.
Bad move.

Capt. Johnson’s sympathies are with the black thugs. His idea of policing was to march with protesters and order the police to stand down while black criminals roamed the streets looting.
When Gov. Nixon addressed the situation, blacks publicly berated him. Missouri’s Democrat State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal blasted him for being “disconnected” from the black community. She tweeted: “F— you” to the governor and called him a “coward” on national TV.
Angry protesters also shouted Nixon down during his press conference. A black man mocked Nixon for being soft-spoken, telling him, “Speak with your chest!” Nixon tried to appease the black mob and prematurely called for a “vigorous prosecution” of Officer Darren Wilson.
Obama gladly dispatched Eric Holder to Ferguson, but instead of calming racial tensions, Holder made matters worse.
Holder told the young protesters in Ferguson that he understood their distrust of police:
“I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man. I can remember being stopped on the New Jersey turnpike on two occasions and accused of speeding. Pulled over … ‘Let me search your car’ … Go through the trunk of my car, look under the seats and all this kind of stuff. I remember how humiliating this was and how angry I was and the impact it had on me.”
Some of Holder’s past “greatest” hits:
  • As a new attorney general, he refused to prosecute baton-wielding members of the racist New Black Panther Party who were intimidating white voters in front of Philadelphia polls.
  • Holder said America is a “nation of cowards” when it comes to dealing with racism.
  • He has said that criticism of him and Obama is rooted in racism.
  • Holder blames racism for the high incarceration rate of black males.
  • He applied pressure on Florida prosecutors to bring charges against “white Hispanic” George Zimmerman, charges he knew would not stick.
  • Holder promotes the lie that voter ID laws are racist.
Parents know children throw tantrums when they don’t get their way. When parents give in to the unreasonable demands of a child, they’re reinforcing bad behavior. If the behavior is not corrected, they learn to intimidate to get what they want – until someone says “No!”
In Ferguson, we witnessed the result of what happens when black parents spoil their children. The children turn out to be welfare-pampered, morally crippled, racist black thugs. Now the white authorities have had to take over the “parenting,” but they too refuse to say, “No!”
Black Missouri State Sen. Jamilah Nasheed has threatened the white St. Louis prosecutor with more riots if he doesn’t indict. She stated, “If you should decide not to indict this police officer, the rioting we witnessed this past week will seem like a picnic. …”
She’s not the only one issuing threats.
Brown family attorney Daryl Parks was asked by Megyn Kelly on Fox News, “If the grand jury doesn’t indict, will you accept that?”
Parks replied, “Not necessarily … they need to come down with an indictment.”
Michael Brown’s mother said she wants the white officer to receive the death penalty.
The grand jury was just convened and blacks are complaining that it’s too white. These people don’t want justice. They want racial vengeance!
But what would happen if Gov. Jay Nixon developed a spine and said “No” to black rioters?
If Nixon stood up for law-abiding citizens, he’d have self-respect and their gratitude.
If he waited for all the evidence to come out before convicting the white officer, the rule of law would prevail.
And what if whites said “No” and didn’t spare the rod of truth when they’re attacked as “racists”?
If whites said “No,” Sharpton and Holder would be out of business.
If whites said “No,” it would give misguided blacks a chance to examine their hearts and repent of their wicked ways.
If whites said “No,” their children would be inspired by their courage.
This kind of transformation is possible for America, but only “if …”

As Usual, The Initial Facts End Up Not Adding UP. It Is True In Ferguson, Missouri!

Attorney General Eric Holder talks Wednesday with Capt. Ron Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, who has been put in charge of security in Ferguson, Missouri.
Attorney General Eric Holder talks Wednesday with Capt. Ron Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, who has been put in charge of security in Ferguson, Missouri.
FERGUSON, Mo. – The narrative that drew the attention of President Obama and compelled him dispatch Attorney General Eric Holder here continues to unravel.
Nearly two weeks of racially charged protests accompanied by looting, rioting, Molotov cocktails, gunfire, bricks and burned buildings have been fueled by the belief that Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed unarmed, 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9 as he raised his hands in the air in surrender, only because he was black.
Brown, at 6’4″ and nearly 300 pounds, has been cast as a “gentle giant,” who, according to his uncle, was “too timid” to play football and “had never gotten into a fight in his entire life.”
But along with exposure of the belligerent “gangsta” persona Brown had on social media, key witnesses upon whom the prosecution was relying to convince a grand jury to charge Wilson with murder are changing their stories as evidence emerges that the officer was attacked and severely beaten by Brown, who had marijuana in his system, only minutes after the teen robbed a convenience store.
On Tuesday, a St. Louis radio station, citing a “very connected national media source,” reported Wilson will not be charged. The key testimony is from the Brown family’s star witness, Dorian Johnson, who accompanied Brown when he was shot. Johnson has changed his story, according to the report, and now admits Brown attacked the officer and attempted to take his gun.
As WND was first to report on Aug. 14, Johnson has an outstanding arrest warrant for theft and for making a false report to police.
‘Justice for the deceased man’s family’
According to police, Wilson reported ordering Brown and Johnson, who were walking in the middle of the street, to move to the sidewalk. Amid the confrontation, Wilson heard a radio dispatch reporting the convenience store robbery and realized Brown and Johnson fit the descriptions of the suspects.

Surveillance video of the robbery showed Brown strong-arming a clerk as he stole a box of cigars. The video was released Aug. 15 in response to Freedom of Information Act media requests. An insider told FoxNews.com that Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson held off the FOIA requests as long as possible because he wanted Brown’s grieving mother to have the chance to see it first.
But Democrat Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon called the release of the video an attempt “to disparage the character” of Brown, insisting that making it public “in the middle of a process like this is not right.” President Obama’s Justice Department also opposed releasing the video.
Nixon – violating his own demand to stay out of the investigation – added fuel to the fire Tuesday when he called for “justice for the deceased man’s family” and “a vigorous prosecution,” even though Wilson hasn’t been charged.
In a visit to Ferguson Wednesday, Attorney General Eric Holder, who indicated the Justice Department already is conducting a separate investigation, said in a meeting of 50 community leaders he understands why many black Americans distrust the police.
“I understand that mistrust,” Holder said. “I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man.”

Grand jury convened
A spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch said Wednesday a grand jury has begun considering evidence to determine whether Wilson should be charged. He said the process could take weeks.
A group of clergy leaders is calling for McCulloch to step aside in favor of a special prosecutor, citing McCulloch’s deep family connections to the St. Louis Police Department. His father was killed responding to a call involving a black suspect.
Last week, a video of the shooting scene posted in defense of Brown, showing the teen’s body lying in the street, inadvertently captured an account by a witness that supports the officer’s claim that Brown doubled back and attacked the officer.

Dorian Johnson
In his original account of the shooting to media, Dorian Johnson said he and Brown were innocently walking down the middle of the street when the officer encountered them.
“We wasn’t causing any harm to nobody. We had no weapons on us at all,” he said.
Johnson claimed the police officer pulled up in his squad car and said: “Get the ‘F’ on the sidewalk.”
He alleged the officer, from inside his vehicle, “grabbed my friend around the neck” and “was trying to choke my friend.” He said the officer then tried to pull Brown into the car, drew his weapon and said, “I’ll shoot you.”
Johnson said, in the “same moment, the first shot went off.”
He said Brown was shot and then he stopped, raising his hands, but the officer continued shooting him.
Dorian Johnson describes the shooting:
In contrast, the police report said Brown pushed the officer into his squad car, assaulted him and struggled to get the officer’s weapon. A shot was fired in the car before the struggle moved to the street, where the officer fired his gun multiple times as Brown rushed toward him.
‘Orbital blowout’
On Wednesday came news that Wilson suffered severe facial injuries and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, according to a source close to the department’s top brass who spoke with FoxNews.com.
The report aligns with Police Chief Jackson’s Aug. 13 announcement that Wilson was treated at a hospital for facial swelling.

Officer Darren Wilson
More than a dozen witnesses have supported Wilson’s account, police sources reportedly told St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Christine Byers.
A woman named “Josie,” who said she was Wilson’s friend, called TheBlaze TV host Dana Loesch’s radio show Friday and said Brown “bum-rushed” Wilson moments after pushing him into his squad car, punching him in the face and trying to grab the officer’s gun.
“Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him,” Josie said. ” … And then all of a sudden, he just started bum-rushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And so he just started shooting. And he just kept coming. And so [Wilson] really thinks [Brown] was on something. The final shot was in the forehead, and then he fell about two or three feet in front of the officer.”
Official county autopsy results released Aug. 15 concluded Brown, indeed, was “on something,” with marijuana found in his system.
The autopsy also showed Brown was shot at least six times from the front, which supports claims he was running toward the officer.
Unwitting witness
A video featured by the ConservativeTreehouse.com blog captured a description of the incident by an apparent black male eyewitness, who was speaking to someone who had arrived later on the scene as Brown’s body lay in the street.
“How’d he get from there to there?” the witness was asked.

“Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – ’cause he was like over the truck. … But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him.
“Then the next thing I know, he doubled back toward him ’cause – the police had his gun drawn already on him”
The onlooker asked: “Oh, the police got his gun?”
“The police kept dumpin’ on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like, be like, but he kept coming toward him,” the witness said.
A former high-school classmate and hockey buddy has come to Wilson’s defense, FoxNews.com reported, contending in interviews the 28-year-old officer harbors no racial animus and would never maliciously take a life.
Jake Shepard said Wilson, describing him as shy, has “been struggling a little bit” since the shooting.
“He didn’t really want to talk much about it,” Shepard, also 28, said of Brown’s death. “But I can tell you for sure it was not racially motivated. He’s not the type of person to harbor any hate for anybody. He was always nice, respectable and well-mannered, a gentleman. He doesn’t have anything bad to say about anybody, ever. He’s very genuine.”
