What We Always Suspected, The Real Intent Of ObamaCrapCare Was A Single Payer! Anyone Who Did Not See This Coming Is Blind And Not Paying Attention!

Pelosi Admits Obamacare Is Flawed, Calls For Single-Payer ‘Fix’

Just weeks ago, Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) vowed that Obamacare would help her party achieve victory in the midterm elections. But now Pelosi is singing a different tune, suggesting that the law could be improved by switching the Nation to a single–payer system.
The lawmaker told Vox’s Ezra Klein:
I think the Democrats will run on saying that the Affordable Care Act is really important for America’s families. And that we stand ready to improve it as we see how it is implemented. I think that’s a really important message, not to let it be repeal or retain, but to have the Affordable Care Act and improve upon it. I have some of my own suggestions that I couldn’t get through in the first round. So I like that message.
Asked how the law could be improved, she responded:
Of course I wanted it single payer and I wanted a public option, but that not being in the mix, you have to prioritize what you want to get over the finish line, and now lets refine and improve and some of that relates to how it is implemented, so you see how it is implemented.
Many conservatives, including columnists for this publication, have long suspected that some Obamacare supporters actually want the law to fail to make way for a single-payer healthcare system.
In December, Bob Livingston wrote:
The apparently flawed law is doing what its designers intended. It’s blowing up the private health insurance market — which was already a morass of bureaucratic and regulatory argle-bargle and inefficiency — and driving the country, inexorably, toward a single-payer socialist/fascist healthcare system one unConstitutional “regulatory” change at a time (at least 14 of them so far).
Central planning progressives, by word and deed, have long expressed their desire for a single-payer redistributive healthcare system. Obamacare has essentially accomplished that, while preserving the insurance companies as “middle men.” Insurance companies bought into the scheme because, rather than having to battle over customers and depend upon individuals to pay their premiums, they preferred the idea of a captive consumer pool and premium payments guaranteed by the Federal Treasury.

We Have Been Telling Everyone The Same Story. Single Payer By The End Of 2014!

A Single Payer System Is Just a Click Away

When you have a president who is pushing socialized medicine, guess what comes next: a single payer system. It’s the inevitable people, and it’s just one click away.
We can’t avoid the inevitable; Obama wants us to be even more dependent than Canada’s health care system. Think about it; he is in control, and the government will pay all the bills. We will have no say; but the government will. Is that how you want your health care to be run?
Think long and hard before you answer that. Let’s say for conversation’s sake that you’re a 55-year old female, with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. You already had your hysterectomy (sorry for the extremely personal references), and are enjoying your mature years. If you sign up for Obamacare through healthcare.gov or a local exchange, they mandate that you need prenatal care. No, really. You have to have it. You no longer need it, but it will be mandated. Mandated!!
That’s what socialized medicine does; it tells you what you need, whether you need it or not. It’s not only crazy, it’s sick. Only people who are seeking a family will sign up for prenatal care. But since Obama is the Leader of the free world, he thinks you need prenatal care at any stage of life. It’s insane. That’s socialized medical care, for ya!
So before you know it, the government will become the King of Medicine because they will be paying the bills. Thanks to Obamacare. Thanks to Nobama. It’s one click away. Click on a health care exchange online, and this is the result.
Think before you click. Is this the health care system you want for you and your family?

Aetna Withdraws From Maryland Exchange As Limitation On Premiums Would Force It To Operate At A Loss--This Is Only The Beginning Of The Decline Of The Health Insurance Industry

In About-Face, Aetna Backs Away from State-Based Exchanges

At least one big insurer is rethinking its plans to sell healthcare policies through the state and federal online marketplaces next year.
Aetna has dropped plans to offer health policies through the insurance exchanges in Ohio and its home state of Connecticut, the company revealed last week.
The Buckeye and Nutmeg state exchanges are the latest to join a growing list of local markets in which the carrier has reversed course and decided not to participate. Since June, it has also backed off plans to sell coverage via the exchanges in six other states, including California, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Tennessee and Texas.
In the case of Connecticut, at least, the decision was made "reluctantly," according to a letter to the state's Insurance Department signed by Bruce Campbell, Aetna's senior actuary. "Please be assured this is not a step taken lightly, and was made as part of national review of our Exchange strategy," Campbell wrote.
As in some other states, Aetna abandoned its plans after Connecticut regulators questioned the rates it proposed to offer through the state’s exchange, known as Access Health CT or AHCT. Three insurers will still offer individual coverage through AHCT, including Anthem, ConnectiCare and the nonprofit HealthyCT.
"The good news today is that consumers and businesses will retain several, high quality choices, and today's decision also shows we at AHCT are doing our best to hold rates down," Kevin Counihan, the chief executive of AHCT, said in a statement. "Our goal is clear: we want to bring affordable, quality health care to Connecticut's residents and small businesses."
The story is similar in Maryland, where the insurer said the state’s requirements for rate reductions would force it to operate at a loss. “Unfortunately, we believe the modifications to the rates filed by Aetna and Coventry would not allow us to collect enough premiums to cover the cost of the plans,” Aetna said in a letter to insurance commissioner Therese Goldsmith. Eight other carriers will continue to offer individual policies through Maryland’s web-based insurance market.
In Ohio, Aetna said it’s withdrawing from the individual exchange market for 2014, but plans to continue offering its individual products from its Coventry subsidiary on the exchange. The carrier also said it will continue to provide its individual product in Ohio’s off-exchange market.
Aetna’s decision will leave 12 companies offering 200 individual health insurance plans on the Ohio exchange
