Electric Grid--America's Greatest Risk

‘Nightmare’ silent bomb could destroy America

Just seven minutes before midnight on December 17, 2016 we caught our first glimpse of the power of this weapon. That’s the day a bomb hit.
The strange thing about this bomb, though, was that you could be standing right next to the trigger and you wouldn’t have heard or felt a thing. No big blast. No flash of light. No big burst of fire. Nothing.
That night, terrorists set lose a piece of malicious software that shut down an entire section of a city. Once they set it lose, a chain reaction occurred miles away. It started with a burst of pre-programmed commands transmitted through the local power grid.
Within seconds, one circuit breaker after another popped, which shut down all the electricity on the western side of this city with a population of 3 million. Before long, the entire area was in complete darkness.
Nothing connected to the grid worked.
To the media, this was nothing more than a simple power outage. So they ignored it. It wasn’t a bomb that toppled buildings or killed massive numbers of people.
You see this hacker attack on the electrical grid happened in Kiev, Ukraine, not America. So no one here paid it any mind. After all, why should that affect us?
But this was the second attack that disrupted Ukraine’s power grid. As I wrote to you then, the first was a test, a probe to see if it would work. This one worked. The terrorists, whoever they are, are making progress. With each test, their ability to shut down civilization improves and becomes more deadly. If they can develop a software bug that shuts down large sections of the U.S. grid, massive blackouts will ensue.
As usual, the Democrats, Republicans, and the mainstream media are all bamboozled. They’re chasing Russia, North Korea, and Donald Trump, thinking all of them are the biggest threat the U.S. has ever faced. They’re missing the beginning of one of the biggest war stories of the last 100 years.
This threat could be more devastating than a nuclear bomb, and almost no one is paying attention. I did however find a New York Times report that said, “Since May, hackers have been penetrating the computer networks of companies that operate nuclear power stations and other energy facilities, as well as manufacturing plants in the United States…”
In typical “nothing to see here” fashion, The Times writes: “In a joint statement with the F.B.I., a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security said, ‘There is no indication of a threat to public safety, as any potential impact appears to be limited to administrative and business networks.’”
The FBI/Homeland Security report indicates an “advanced persistent threat” actor was responsible. To you and me, that means they were government-backed hackers.
Protection
As these hacker attacks were going on, President Trump signed an executive order to strengthen the cybersecurity defenses of federal networks and critical infrastructure.
The order specifically requires government to work with public corporations to mitigate risks and help defend critical infrastructure organizations “at greatest risk of attacks that could reasonably result in catastrophic regional or national effects on public health or safety, economic security, or national security.”
I discovered that we do have companies working very diligently to make sure this never happens inside the United States.
What happened in the Ukraine is simply a testing ground for much bigger and more serious attacks, like the powerful ransomware cyber attack that started in Russia and Ukraine before spreading to Western Europe last week. It was a variant of the “WannaCry” ransomware.
Two separate security firms have analyzed the malware responsible for the Kiev blackout. One of these firms, Maryland-based Dragos, dubbed the new malware “CrashOverride.” They, along with Slovakia-based firm ESET, identify this malware as a genuine cyber weapon.
According to their researchers, this program has the ability to “map out a power station’s control network and, with minimal human guidance, issue malicious commands directly to critical equipment.”
This type of weapon is rare. We saw it only once before when the Stuxnet virus attacked Iran’s nuclear program in 2010. CrashOverride is the first to target civilians. What’s more, these researchers say this designers of this program built it to attack an entire nation’s power supply. Dragos CEO Robert Lee says this malware wasn’t built as a one-time weapon.
“It’s a nightmare,” Lee told the news media. “The malware in its current state would be usable for every power plant in Europe. This is a framework designed to target other places.” Even worse, there were aspects of the malware that the terrorists didn’t use in the Kiev attack. So its potential is significantly greater than what we’ve seen.
CrashOverride is a significant escalation in the electronic arms race. But it’s only the beginning. The terrorists are on to our grid system. They know how it operates and they now know how to attack it. Remember, this is only a glimpse into the real threat. Any coming attack on the U.S. will make CrashOverride look tiny in comparison.
But you can be prepared. Like you, I’m always interested in protecting my life, property, and wealth. When I looked into just how vulnerable our grid is, and I discovered how old and ineffective our system is, I also found that our government is, thanks to Trump’s order, working with companies to do something about it.
In my research I uncovered three companies that are at the forefront of unlocking new technologies that will protect and strengthen our electric grid and its protections.
These companies are the best hope I’ve found for stopping a catastrophic failure caused by hackers, or a cyber-attack, because they are working for America instead of only themselves. Shocking, I know, and that’s why I recommend you take a look at a special report I’ve prepared. These aren’t fly-by-night companies that are here today and gone tomorrow. They are profitable, have strong balance sheets, and generate real shareholder value, which means you too can profit at the same time you’re helping protect our great country.
You must know about these companies today, because those who want to attack America are looking directly at America’s electric grid. To learn more about the real threat the U.S. faces from terrorist hackers, just how devastating a massive attack could be, and how these companies can protect both our national grid system and your wealth, just follow this link right now.

Apparently Even Elder Journalists Lie

Leftist columnist caught lying about life-threatening danger during traffic stop

A leftist columnist in Missouri was caught lying in an article about a dangerous interaction with “arrogant” sheriff’s deputies during a routine traffic stop. However, the sheriff’s department released dashcam video of the deputies being courteous and professional to the columnist, who himself was shown to be rude.
According to the New York Post, Bill Clark, an 84-year-old columnist at the Columbia Daily Tribune was pulled over on June 20 by Boone County Sheriff’s deputies for failing to use his turn signal. Clark claimed was likely pulled over due to his plethora of “liberal bumper stickers,” signaling an “aging hippie with a weed habit.”
Clark wrote in his column “Ol’ Clark has run-in with the law,” that his life was in danger from the officers during the stop.
“I’m lucky I didn’t get shot,” Clark wrote. “Sirens wailed and when I stopped, two officers were out of the sheriff’s vehicle. When I reached over to turn off the radio and then take my wallet out of my pocket to produce the driver’s license and insurance card, I realized my hands were not at the top of my steering wheel. Danger lurked and official arrogance was to follow.”
Clark wrote he received a “lecture” from officers who wouldn’t answer questions posed to them, instead telling him to plead not guilty if he disagreed with their assessment.
Reflecting on the “arrogance” of the officers during the stop, Clark said that feeling in danger made him appreciate the claims of minorities who speak about police harassment.
“I’ve just come to appreciate even more the words of those minorities when they speak of harassment and police arrogance. I had a good dose of arrogance on this evening and, in my rearview mirror, the image of the second officer out of the car, his hands ready in case I made the wrong move. My life seemed to be in danger.”
However, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey disagreed with Clark’s assessment.
The sheriff released the 11-minute dashcam footage in a response titled, “The law has a run in Ol’ Clark,” proving that his deputies not only did everything by the book, but with professional kindness.

Carey wrote that the female officer who pulled him over was a three-year veteran in the department, and a U.S. military veteran at that. Her ride-along partner was a rookie deputy in training.
Sheriff Carey went on to explain why the deputy had used her sirens, and refuted Clark’s claim that his life was in danger, calling the column “sensationalism at its best.”
As the deputies begin to exit their vehicle to approach, the intersection light turns green and there goes Ol’ Clark cutting in front of the Ford truck. In the law enforcement world that is an indication that the driver is going to flee. This is the reason for the audible siren. Ol’ Clark does pull over and initial contact is made. In his column he indicates, “I’m lucky I didn’t get shot.” There is never a weapon drawn, the deputies don’t take a position of cover, there are no loud verbal commands, no panic or anything else for that matter by the deputies. Would you agree this is sensationalism at its best? I say yes!
Carey pointed out that Clark raises his voice to the deputy at one point, becoming argumentative, and demanding the ticket be given to him. The sheriff says the interaction ended with the deputy telling Clark to drive safely, and even thanking him.
When the two officers were back in their car, Carey said no derogatory statements or jokes were made at Clark’s expense.
“The nerve of law enforcement these days!” Carey wrote.
Carey contacted Columbia Daily Tribune editor, Charles L. Westmoreland, who reviewed the dashcam footage himself and agreed with Carey’s assessment.
Westmoreland wrote a response addressing the issue, and after praising Clark for his long history of writing for the Tribune, rebuked Clark’s column, and said that Clark has been suspended indefinitely.
“I cannot defend Clark’s column or the facts as he presented them,” Westmoreland wrote. “In the video, I saw two professional deputies performing their job by the book, and a somewhat confused and irritated motorist, unaware of what he had done to draw the attention of local law enforcement. It certainly wasn’t worth writing a scathing column about, and the Tribune should not have published it. For that I apologize to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department and readers who feel they were misled by Clark’s column.”
“Clark deserves consideration for his past contributions to the Tribune and our community,” Westmoreland later added. “He will, however, be suspended indefinitely and his historical segments and thrice-weekly commentary will not appear again until we’ve had the opportunity for further review.”
According to Westmoreland, Clark will publish an apology in the Saturday print edition of the Tribune.

Media Blows It Again And Is Quickly Put In Its Place By Polish President

Polish President Roasts Fake News Over “Snubbed” Trump

 Print

When President Donald Trump arrived in Poland he was greeted warmly and delivered what was arguably one of his best speeches to date. This of course had the leftist American media scrambling to find anything they could to discredit and smear the president.
Apparently they settled on sharing a deceptively edited snippet of a clip showing the round of handshakes between Trump and first lady Melania with their Polish counterparts ahead of Trump’s speech. Two seconds of video allegedly showed Polish first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda “snub” Trump by ignoring his outstretched hand.
USA Today admirably detailed some of the posts on the subject from both the right and the left, revealing the left’s utter pettiness in the process, but now even the Polish president weighed in on the topic.

“Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS,” tweeted President Andrzej Duda.

Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let's FIGHT FAKE NEWS.

A more thorough and biting denouncement of the liberal media’s absurdity was put forward by T. Beckett Adams of the Washington Examiner, who essentially told the supposedly mature adult journalists to “grow up” and began his article by declaring, “This is so stupid.”
After explaining that the Polish first lady simply followed protocol and shook Melania Trump’s hand first before immediately shaking the president’s hand, which can be obviously seen if the clip wasn’t stopped short after a mere two seconds, Adams ripped into a few of the worst offenders in the media who sought to spread such blatant “fake news.”
Chief among them was Chris Cillizza of CNN, who seemingly channeled his inner 12-year-old girl at a Justin Bieber concert, posting to Twitter, “OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD…” along with the clip of the “snub.”

The liberal left has become so overly consumed by the hatred for Trump that they have allowed themselves to drop what’s left of their crumbling facade of unbiased professionalism and revealed that they are currently no better than the online trolls they threaten to “out” publicly for making fun of them.

Journalism is in such a sad state these days and the media should be in complete panic, as their constant barrage of fake news and outright lies against the president have ruined what little bit of credibility they may have had remaining.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter so everyone can see how the Polish president responded to the fake news about the handshake between his wife and President Trump.
What do you think of the media's furor over the supposed handshake "snub" that didn't happen in Poland?

Clooney The Hypocritical Fraud

HYPOCRITE: Open Borders Advocate George Clooney Moving Back To U.S. -- For Security Reasons

It must be nice to be a limousine liberal blowhard — you can say anything you
want and no one ever holds you to a word of it.
That means you can oppose a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border but surround
your Hollywood mansion in a gated community with a massive barricade. And
no one in the mainstream media will cry "hypocrite!"
Well, we will. Take George Clooney. He's been a fierce critic of President Donald
Trump and his plan to build a border wall. But the actor has decided to move his
wife Amal and their newborn twins Ella and Alexander back to Los Angeles
because of security concerns at his England estate, according to a report
 in Life & Style magazine.
The 56-year-old Oscar-winner will move back to his mansion in Studio City,
California — which features a nice big wall. Some of his security advisers
decided his 17th century mansion in Sonning, England, was not secure enough.
Life & Style  exclusively learned that George Clooney has recently made plans to move back to LA, for the safety of his family, after the latest spate of terror attacks in England.
“He doesn’t feel like Amal and the twins are safe living in the English countryside,” an insider says. “He’s determined to move his family to LA, where he feels much more secure.”
George’s safety concerns had been growing for years. The Oscar winner “has been subject to very serious threats in the past,” reveals the source, because of his humanitarian efforts in Darfur, Sudan. And Amal’s work as an international human rights lawyer, along with her public pleas for foreign governments to prosecute terrorists, has made her a potential target.
When George learned that he was going to be a father, those concerns went into overdrive. “As soon as Amal found out she was pregnant, he hired former Secret Service agents to assess all his properties and make recommendations for improvement,” the insider adds. “His mansion in Studio City [Calif.] was deemed the most secure, and it’s within minutes of an LAPD station.”
“He’s waited so long for this family,” the insider continues. “He’ll do whatever it takes to keep them safe."
Clooney and his Hollywood brethren have been preaching love and tolerance
for Muslim immigrants, but England has been the site of devastating terror
attacks in recent weeks. Twenty-two people were killed in a terrorist bombing
at a concert by pop singer Ariana Grande in Manchester in June, and eight more
died the same month when terrorists drove a van into pedestrians on London
Bridge.
But it gets worse. British officials divulged in May that some 23,000 known
jihadi terrorists are now in Britain — and that's just the "known" terrorists.
Meanwhile, Clooney has decried the Trump presidency and, along with his
wife, advocates open borders and the free flow of refugees. He has praised
German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her acceptance of hundreds of thousands
of refugees while calling Trump a "xenophobic fascist."
But, see, none of that matters, because now, a Hollywood star is going to say
one thing, and do an entirely 'nother thing.
And the MSM won't say a word.

This Is A Leader--Something We Never Saw From Obama

Trump in Poland: West’s Will to Survive is ‘Fundamental Question of our Time’

2

President Donald Trump in Poland on Thursday declared the paramount importance of defending our values, protecting our borders, building strong families, and preserving Western civilization. It was a speech that could have been given by President Ronald Reagan, reminiscent of Reagan’s historic “Tear Down This Wall” speech.

Addressing cheering throngs in the capital city of Warsaw, President Trump gave a serious speech about the serious threats facing the West as a whole: the United States, Poland, and more broadly the dozens of nations in Europe and North and South America that share a democratic form of government and typically hold to a Judeo-Christian moral philosophy.
His 35-minute speech covered a broad range of issues, praising Poland for its many accomplishments, pledging U.S. support for its ongoing endeavors, and thanking Poland for being one of the few NATO members that makes its full financial contributions to the alliance.
But then President Trump took a deeply philosophical turn, surveying the dangers to peace and stability facing not just the United States and Poland but scores of other nations across the globe.
“The fundamental question of our time is: whether the West has the will to survive,” he declared poignantly.
“Do we have the confidence in our values to defend them at any cost?,” the president continued. “Do we have enough respect for our citizens to protect our borders? Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who would subvert and destroy it?”
President Trump then cited the family unit and the values instilled in those family homes as the key for Western civilization: “We can have the largest economies and the most lethal weapons anywhere on Earth, but if we do not have strong families and strong values, then we will be weak, and we will not survive.”
It is possible that the president is setting forth the elements of the Trump Doctrine in foreign policy, one predicated upon American exceptionalism. Specifically, one that embraces that America’s greatness comes from America’s goodness—a goodness primarily derived from faith and family.
Far from isolationist, the Trump Doctrine seems to include that America can play a leading role in the world without subordinating the safety, prosperity, or happiness of American citizens to those of other countries.
Shortly after the speech, White House aide Sebastian Gorka appeared on Fox News, sounding a similar theme of how American exceptionalism can coexist with international engagement.
“President Trump is president of this country, not president of the world,” Gorka began. But then he explained that the president’s agenda does not require withdrawing inside our own borders.
“‘America First’ does not mean ‘America Alone,’” Gorka declared.
