Top 5 Obama scandals that were never resolved
While the liberal media may pretend that President Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in history, the neverending list of former President Barack Obama’s scandals remains unresolved — and in some cases almost 10 years later.
“Many of Obama’s scandals covered in my book make Watergate look like a high school prank gone wrong by comparison,” said Matt Margolis, the author of The Scandalous Presidency of Barack Obama.
His stunning book lists a whopping 29 Obama scandals… and it’s far from comprehensive!
Here are five more Obama-era scandals that have yet to be resolved:
#1 Obama let terrorists sell drugs on American streets. Obama obsessed over brokering a deal with the Islamist regime in Iran so much that he turned a blind eye to terrorists who were selling drugs to American kids.
Politico ran a 14,000-word exposé on the dirty deal, how Iran’s favorite terrorist organization, Hezbollah, hooked up with drug traffickers in South America to sell cocaine in the U.S. They laundered the money through used car dealerships around the country.
As The Horn News told you, once the U.S. government’s Project Cassandra closed in on Hezbollah — and its funders in Iran — the Obama administration threw one roadblock after another in front of investigators.
Obama didn’t want bad press ruining the sweetheart deal he was hammering out with the Ayatollah. So, Obama looked the other way while terrorists destroyed American lives to fund terrorism… all so he could give billions more dollars to Iran!
#2 Releasing hundreds of terrorists back onto the battlefield. When Obama wasn’t funding terrorists, he was setting them free.
Obama promised to close the detainee camp on Guantanamo Bay, but ended up letting some of its most hardened — and dangerous — members go free.
“Is there a possibility of some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us?” he asked. “Absolutely.” He just didn’t care.
So far, about one out of every three terrorists released has returned to the battlefield… and gone back to trying to kill Americans. That’s 224 of the 729 terrorists released from Gitmo, straight back into the ranks of Islamic terrorism.
#3 Obama spied on Congress. Newly released documents prove that Obama once spied on Congress in order to punish whistleblowers who would have told the American people that Obama was spying on them.
“The CIA under the Obama administration was reading congressional staff’s e-mails,” said Senator Chuck Grassley. As explosive and shocking as this scandal is, the Iowa Republicans had to fight four years to get the Deep State to release the blockbuster papers… including two years after Trump took over.
#4 Obama screwed businesses to benefit his cronies. Obama hated businesses — but he only tried to ruin companies if it would make his friends big bucks.
Two of his buddies, Marty Nesbitt and Harreld Kirkpatrick III, formed an investment firm called Vistria right about the time Obama got re-elected. Obama spent his second term attacking companies — payday lenders, coal mines, for-profit colleges — that they wanted to buy…and driving down their stock prices.
“A curious pattern began to emerge,” wrote researcher Peter Schweizer in his book Secret Empires: How Our Politicians Hide Corruption and Enrich Their Families and Friends. “Obama and his administration would attack industries with government power, which led to substantially lower valuations for these companies.
Nesbitt and Vistria, or others close to Obama, could then acquire those assets for pennies on the dollar.” It pays to have friends in high places!
#5 Spygate. Obama tried so hard to tip the 2016 presidential election to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that he ginned up phony Russian “collusion” — and even planted a spy in the Republican’s presidential campaign.
Trump himself called this “SPYGATE.” But two years later, the full extent of Obama’s abuse of power and underhanded tactics haven’t been revealed.
Margolis taps this as Obama’s worst scandal. “There are many serious scandals, and therefore it’s hard to say which is the biggest scandal,” he said, “but I believe Obama’s spying on the Trump campaign, which is starting to be fully unraveled now, will likely prove to be one of the biggest.”
