Proposed drawings of the border wall promised by President Donald Trump include plans for bombproof concrete, solar panels, and a fiber optic tunnel detection system. Contractors expressed concern about attacks during the construction process and received numerous death threats for bidding on the project.

Officials are expected to choose 4-10 companies to build a prototype section of wall to demonstrate their bid’s viability and effectiveness. Officials with knowledge of the plan spoke to the Daily Mail on condition of anonymity and said the prototypes would be built on a quarter-mile strip of federally owned land near San Diego.
The Trump Administration began seeking bids to build prototypes of the wall in February, Breitbart Texas reported. More than 300 companies quickly signed up to present proposals on how to take the President’s vision and promise to reality.
Expressing concern over security during the construction process, bidders asked how the government would respond to help their crews if they came under “hostile attack,” the Daily Mail reported. Another company expressed the desire to allow their workers to carry a sidearm for self-defense. They want the government to protect them and their workers from lawsuits if the use of deadly force became necessary.
The government plans to use Border Patrol agents and local police to establish “buffer zones” around the construction projects to ensure the safety of workers. However, the San Diego police and sheriff’s office said their protection would extend to peaceful, law-abiding protesters, and made no mention of protecting construction workers.
‘There will be a lot of different activity – protests, prayer vigils – on both sides of the wall,’ Enrique Morones, executive director of Border Angels, an open border advocacy group, told the Daily Mail. ‘We pray and hope that they’re peaceful.’
Breitbart Texas reported in March, that efforts to obtain private land along the Texas/Mexico border have already begun. Nearly 600 miles of the border is owned by private individuals, tribal nations, and various other governmental entities, according to the General Accounting Office.

How Come Is Our News Media Not Reporting On This?

Murdered Journalist Exposed This Secret in Mexico

The murder of a respected journalist in the Mexican state of Chihuahua appears to be driven by her work exposing the close ties between government officials and the Juarez Cartel. One of those investigations pointed to the mother-in-law of a cartel boss trying to run for mayor, while others looked into how the former governor of that state protected certain criminal organizations.
Over the weekend, journalists held protests in Mexico City, Torreón, and Monterrey; calling for a stop to the impunity that surrounds the murder of their colleagues. The protests come after cartel gunmen shot Miroslava Breach moments after she dropped her children off at school. As Breitbart Texas reported, the gunmen left a poster board signed by a Juarez Cartel boss that said Breach had been murdered for being a “Lenguona” or loudmouth.
While Breach’s murder has received minimal attention from international media, journalists in Mexico that spoke with Breitbart Texas revealed that they are deeply concerned by the ongoing wave of violence targeting them. As Breitbart Texas has reported, Breach’s murder is the third of its kind this year. In recent years, various freedom of the press organizations such as Reporters Without Borders and Article 19 have labeled Mexico as one of the most dangerous places to work in.
Breitbart Texas spoke with representatives of the Network of Journalists in Mexico’s Northeast who expressed their concern and anger at the impunity with which journalism continues to be silenced in Mexico. The organization continues to call on the Mexican government to investigate and punish not only the triggermen, but also those who ordered the various murders.

Almost one million illegal aliens living in the U.S. who have been ordered deported remain free.

In total, 680 illegal aliens were detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency in the last week, a fraction compared to the some 950,062 with deportation orders yet to be detained, according to figures from the Washington Examiner.
ICE Director Thomas Homan told the Examiner that “As of May 21, 2016, there were 950,062 aliens with final orders of removal on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) national docket. Of those aliens, 939,056 were on ICE’s non-detained docket and 11,006 were on ICE’s detained docket.”
As Breitbart Texas reported, some of those 680 illegal immigrants arrested and detained are MS-13 gang members, child sex offenders, rapists and drug traffickers.
To achieve this overwhelming task, DHS is authorizing the hiring of 10,000 new immigration officers, as Breitbart Texas reported.
DHS Secretary John Kelly ordered Homan to immediately begin hiring new ICE agents, operational and mission staff, and legal experts.

Southern Border Crossing Not Only For Mexicans And Central Americans

ALERT: Border Patrol Catches Egyptian, Iraqi Nationals Sneaking Across the Border

 Print
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Border Patrol agents reportedly apprehended two individuals who were attempting to sneak across the border Saturday — but they weren’t the customary illegal aliens from Mexico or Central America.
CBP confirmed to Breitbart Texas that one Iraqi national and one Egyptian national were detained by Border Patrol agents after they illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico. Iraq and Egypt are hotbeds for terrorism.
CBP did not confirm if the foreign nationals were men, however a source claimed they were both males.

According to a statement from the Border Patrol, agents from Lordsburg Station apprehended the two individuals at 2:15 p.m. along Arizona State Route 80.
“Records checks and interviews produced no derogatory information and the two individuals were placed into removal proceedings,” the statement said.
The exact location of the apprehensions was not clear. However, according to Breitbart, the CBP statement indicated that the individuals had made it more than 15 miles into U.S. territory before agents apprehended them.

The area of the border where it is believed they crossed does not have barriers, according to Breitbart.
Breitbart reported that the area south of the border from where the individuals were apprehended is controlled by criminal groups working for the Sinaloa Federation or cartel. The Sinaloa is more professional than other cartels in the region, according to Breitbart, which makes it unlikely that the illegal aliens from the Middle East were traveling in the area without the cartel’s permission.
We don’t know much about these individuals or what they were planning to do, but we do know they were trying to enter the country illegally. Their capture — in addition to the documented dangerous behavior of other illegal aliens — is just another example of why we need to get busy on building a border wall.
At least we have a president that is willing to acknowledge the problems we have at the border and do something about them.

Share this story on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that the sooner we can get started on a border wall, the better.
