Hitler Was Also Named Man Of The Year

Man of the year: President Barack Obama

That headline’s not a joke … not an intentional one, anyway.
In a stroke of spectacular timing, GQ Magazine just announced President Barack Obama as one of its 2015 “Men of the Year.” The magazine boosted its annual list by putting Obama on the cover, and giving ESPN refugee Bill Simmons — now reportedly taking shelter at HBO — the sit-down interview exclusive with the president.
Here’s the cover — American flag lapel pin and all:

The cover, which was planned before Obama’s latest stomp-fit over Americans’ concerns about taking in terrorists posing as refugees, “shows once again that the American public still can’t expect hard-hitting media analysis or criticism to take place under this presidency — seven years in,” as Independent Journal observes:
Even with ISIS running rampant, Russian President Putin laughing at the “reset” button, duplicitous Iranians making paper promises about nuclear weapons, Syria still a wreck under dictator Bashar al-Assad, Libya in shambles after the U.S. invasion, race relations at a recent low, a deteriorating labor force and “actual unemployment” over 10% …
The main thing author Bill Simmons has to say about the “man of the year” in GQ? He’s ‘cool.’
After reading Simmons’ reverent eulogy, you wonder why he didn’t just substitute “cool” with “holy.”
Courtesy of IJ, here are a few of the ways Simmons worships Obama throughout the piece:
”Obama — both the person and the president — carries himself like Roger Federer, a merciless competitor who keeps coming and coming, only there’s a serenity about him that disarms just about everyone.”
“At one point during the hour I spent interviewing him at the White House this fall, he casually compared himself to Aaron Rodgers, and he wasn’t bragging.”
“It’s an alpha-male trick — put someone off-balance, flatter them and bust their chops at the same time.”
“Does it scare you that your wife could have a billion-dollar daytime talk show and you could be Stedman 2.0?”
These are just the things that Simmons said. Wait till you see what Obama had to say about himself.
It’s all right here.
Oh, and though GQ didn’t have time to work this one in, we’d like to add that Obama has ISIS contained

Liberals Love Blacks As Long As They "Stay On The Farm." Once They Start To Think For Themselves, The Real Attitudes Toward African Americans Come Out.

What Liberals Who Love to Cry Racism are

Doing to Ben Carson

The liberal media is fond of saying how the only reason Republicans disagree with
Obama’s policies is because of racism. But as soon as they see that Republicans have
shown black candidate Dr. Ben Carson enthusiastic support, they fall into a tailspin
of confusion and hatred.
The level of vitriol being thrown at Ben Carson is clearly racially motivated and is
 disturbing in the extreme.
In fact, it seems that some of those in the Democratic party are keeping alive their
tradition as the party that fought against Civil Rights and that battled to keep slavery
legal.
The attacks are reminiscent of the sort of viciousness Clarence Thomas and Herman
Cain had to suffer through.
GQ magazine printed what passes for journalism on their site with the headline
“Fuck Ben Carson.” The article attacks Carson for his stance on gun control and
for suggesting that fighting back against a mass shooter is preferable to passively
waiting to be slaughtered. Here are some choice highlights from the literary masterpiece:
You know, the only thing more alarming than Donald Trump leading the Republican presidential field is the fact that Ben Carson is the guy right behind him.

While establishment puds like Jeb! Bush and Marco Rubio can’t decide if they

want to beat Trump or emulate him, the Good Doctor made it clear this week

that he is not only willing to replicate Trump’s signature brand of hot-garbage-

spewing, but he’ll say even DUMBER shit.
…You are now bearing witness to an arms race of stupid, because stupid is in such

high demand from the GOP base at the present moment. Stupid is what gets

you attention, and attention is what gets you better polling numbers.
…I don’t want a president who regards his constituents with the same kind of

contempt I have for GQ’s Facebook commenters (sorry, but you are all terrible people).
…And, God help me, I think I’d rather have him [Donald Trump] sitting in the

Oval Office, getting stupidly out-maneuvered by the politicians under him, than

bringing in a guy like Carson who is willing to shred every last bit of his

intellectual credibility in order to lord over a citizenry he doesn’t seem to have

much respect for. Fuck him.
Even though it would seem that Dr. Carson’s story is one that all Americans can draw
inspiration from, the left doesn’t want to hear it. The fact that the man rose from poverty
to become a leading neurosurgeon who saved thousands of lives means nothing to them.
Is it because Dr. Carson worked hard for his achievements and wasn’t handed everything
in life (like a bogus Nobel Peace prize) that they object to?
The media aren’t the only ones bashing Carson. The liberal university indoctrination
machine is joining in, as well. University of Pennsylvania religious studies professor
Anthea Butler (who — surprise — also appears on MSNBC regularly) sent a disgusting
tweet out that Carson should be given a “coon of the year award.”
Butler’s tweet was in response to a tweet from Goldie Taylor, Daily Beast editor-at-large
who mentioned an article where Carson championed the right to fly flags, including
 the Confederate flag.
A tweet from the halls of academia. This “religious studies” professor wisely deleted
her account after sending out this tweet:

Liberal actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen also took to twitter to articulate his disagreement
with Ben Carson’s stance on the issues:

Where is all of this anger coming from?

What A Fall From The Heights. Obama Goes From Best Leaders To Least Influential In 6 Years!

GQ magazine ranks Obama among ‘least influential’ people of 2014

For the past year, the Obama administration has seldom gone more than a few days without having to answer questions about political scandals, foreign policy ineptitude, failed promises or presidential overreach. That appears to be why GQ magazine is the latest in a list of unlikely Obama critics as the president enters the final stretch of his White House tenure.
The magazine, in its “The Least Influential People of 2014″, includes Obama on a list that includes the likes of U2’s Bono, former NBA owner and racist Donald Sterling, the Malaysia Airlines searchers at CNN, former Alaska Gov. and matriarch of white trash brawlers Sarah Palin, perpetual war hawk John McCain, and others.
Here’s what the magazine’s Drew Magary has to say about Obama:
Why are you still on Martha’s Vineyard?! Missouri is BURNING. Putin is conquering Europe. The CDC is playing nude Twister with Ebola patients. U2 is forcing bad songs on everyone. The NSA won’t stop watching me masturbate. I need you ON THIS. Are you even president anymore? When Obama got blasted for golfing shortly after ISIS beheaded journalist James Foley, he said, “I should’ve anticipated the optics.” How do you win the presidency without knowing that golfing makes you look rich and indifferent?
The president also made the magazine’s “least influential” list last year and years prior.
Magary wrote for the 2013 list:
He can blame Republicans in Congress all he likes and get away with it because congressional Republicans are the worst. But the fact remains that I have spent the majority of this man’s presidency watching bad things happen, then hearing a thoughtful speech about how we gotta make sure the bad things never happen again, and then watching as nothing gets done. Next time there’s an election, I want Nate Silver to analyze the data and tell me who to vote for so that I don’t end up casting my ballot for a very eloquent hat stand.
The president’s failure to live up to his hope and change rhetoric has evidently caught up to him in recent years, as GQ notably named the president “Man of the Year” in 2008 and “Leader of the Year” in 2009.

Do You Believe That Twitter "Mistakenly" Took Down The Duck Dynasty Petition Or.... ?

'I Stand With Phil' Petition Links Restored on Twitter

"I stand with Phil" petition links have been restored on Twitter after supporters of the "Duck Dynasty" patriarch, Phil Robertson, claimed the social media site purposely blocked the website for political reasons.

Earlier in the week, Twitter users attempting to post links to the "I stand with Phil" petition website were prevented from doing so, receiving messages that the content they were posting contained malware or that the site was spam.

In a statement to MarketingLand.com on Tuesday, Twitter claimed the incident was an "error" stemming from an "outside organization."

"The URL IStandWithPhil.com was mistakenly flagged as spam tonight, by an outside organization that tracks spam sources. We have restored access and apologize for the error" Twitter told MarketingLand.com.

Despite this snag, more than 237,000 people have signed the "I stand with Phil" petition as of 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning in reaction to A&E's decision to put the 67-year-old devout Christian on an indefinite hiatus following his recent anti-gay comments in a GQ interview.

"[You] start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," Robertson told GQ. "It seems like, to me a woman would be more desirable [than a man]. ... That's just me."

"She's got more to offer," he continued. "I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I'm saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical."

The "I stand with Phil" petition states that "Mr. Robertson’s comments in GQ Magazine are simply reflective of a Biblical view of sexuality, marriage, and family – a view that has stood the test of time for thousands of years and continues to be held by the majority of Americans and today’s world as a whole."

"Many members of the LGBT community may not agree with this view, but the notion that a free-thinking American should be discriminated against simply for expressing a perspective that is in conflict with another is patently un-American and flies in the face of true tolerance and civility," the "I stand with Phil" petition continues.

A&E, which describes itself as "supporters and champions of the LGBT community" has yet to revisit its decision to suspend Robertson due largely to the backlash it has experienced from Robertson supporters. The future of the show remains uncertain. His family, who comprise the rest of the show's cast, has signaled that they cannot imagine going forward with the show without him.

Duck Commander-A&E Controversy Is A Seminal Moment In US History. Will We Allow People Their Free Speech Or Will There Be Censorship Of ALL Speech? We Choose The Prior!

Does Free Speech Really Matter? Not To The Liberal Elites Behind A&E Network

Free speech has always been a right guaranteed to all Americans. We have the right to express our own personal opinions, and we have the right to disagree with others as they express their personal opinions. There is the reasonable expectation that there should not be any personal, economic, or political ramifications related to our use or expression of this right to free speech.
Yes, folks, I am of course using the recent events where Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson was suspended for expressing his personal religious opinions. This was done in the pages of the magazine GQ and centered around his thinking on homosexuality.
Is this what we have become as a country and as a society? Do we now have to temper everything we say or even think with the thought police? And who even has become the thought police for that matter? Honestly, I really think that it is only the liberal elites involved in the government who are trying to perpetuate this myth and idea on us…that we need to be careful with what we say because it might, god forbid, offend someone. The vast majority of Americans have a much different idea about this.
One of the biggest reasons that people enjoy watching the Duck Dynasty series is because the show is honest. There is a family that loves and cares for each other and regularly expresses their faith among each other. This is the type of family that most of us have…or at least would like to have. However, this type of idea or this vision of America is one that has usually been ignored by the libertards in Hollywood and in Washington, DC.

Everyone who believes in the idea of free speech and religious liberty should also be deeply offended and troubled by this recent action. All the man did was express his opinion. If you actually read what he said, it was very accommodating. He even made clear that these were personal opinions and he still treated everyone exactly the same with respect since they are actually children of God. Maybe the liberals did not like that he said everyone was created by God as well?
In case you have not seen the article in GQ Magazine, here is a quote:
“I myself am a product of the 60′s; I centered my life around sex, drugs, and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are mean to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”
We have already seen some heavy hitters lining up to support Robertson. There is former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin saying that “free speech is an endangered species.” Texas Senator Ted Cruz has also posted a statement of support on his Facebook page and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has defended him as well.
What do YOU think? Is free speech becoming an endangered species? Was A&E right to suspend Robertson for voicing his opinion in an article (not even on the show)? Was his statement that offensive? Who should really be offended by anything he said?
