Maybe The Whole Nation Should Do What These Clergymen Did

Ohio Clergymen Bless Israel and See Astounding Blessings in Return

“I will bless those who bless you And curse him that curses you; And all the families of the earth Shall bless themselves by you.” Genesis 12:3 (The Israel Bible™)
A group of over 100 clergymen from North-Central Ohio who came together in a powerful expression of solidarity with Israel, received blessings in the manner described in the Bible promising that those who bless the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be blessed in return.
The clergy, led by Benjamin Mutti and Reverend El Akuchie who are both coordinators of the Richland Community Prayer Network, stood with Israel when they sent a letter of solidarity to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in January 2017.

In the letter, the clergyman apologized for the some of the actions of former President Barack Obama, particularly when he ordered his UN ambassador, Samantha Power to abstain instead of veto Security Council Resolution 2334. The resolution, which passed unanimously, declared Israel’s presence in “east Jerusalem,” Judea, and Samaria to be illegal.
“These actions of the Obama Administration do not represent the will of the governed,” the letter stated. “Furthermore, this Administration has now been deposed. Most assuredly, we believe that the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob gave all the land of Canaan to Israel as an everlasting covenant with Jerusalem as its eternal undivided capital.”
“Please be reminded Prime Minister Netanyahu, even though nations conspire against Israel, these people plot in vain. Even though the kings of the earth band together against you and your country, the One enthroned in the heavens laughs.”
Perhaps the most significant part of the letter was its conclusion in which the Ohio pastors bonded their fate with that of Israel, despite the geographic distance from the Jewish state.
“Since our destinies are intertwined together, you will always have friends in Ohio,” the letter said. “What affects your country affects our country. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, your GOD and His people are fighting and praying for you.”
The letter, signed by 103 Christian clergies from North-Central Ohio, was also sent to Rabbi Yehudah Glick, a long-time Temple Mount activist and Member of Knesset (MK) from Netanyahu’s Likud party. The clergymen were yearning to make up for the “crime” of the UN Security Council resolution.
“We believe the Jews should be a light unto the nations,” Benjamin Mutti told Breaking Israel News. “The UN resolution was a national crime. We wanted to bring reconciliation between our people and the Jews and also between us and the God of Israel.”
According to Mutti, that act of reconciliation starting bearing fruit right away.
“After sending the letter, we immediately began seeing signs of God’s favor. The economy rebounded and the ecology also responded almost immediately after we sent the letter.”
One of the ways the economy bounced back was the approval of a hotly contested the Rover Pipeline, a 713-mile natural $4 billion gas pipeline. Although the project would bring jobs and money to the region as well as facilitate the distribution of natural gas throughout the US and Canada, the pipeline was mired in several lawsuits. Its approval came ten days after the clergy sent the letter to Netanyahu. At the time, North-Central Ohio had a stagnant regional economy that was reported as the fifth worst in the country, and Mutti said that the project brought an enormous boost to the region.
“The pipeline company pays the landowners,” Mutti explained. “The employees who put in the pipeline also brought income to the region, and several local companies participated in the project.”
For many people in Ohio who live in rural communities, the land plays a powerful role in their lives.
“We follow the land,” Mutti said. “We watch nature for answers.” And the answers immediately came.
“According to Department of Agriculture numbers, the spring turkey harvest in Richland County saw a dramatic twenty-four percent increase from last year, whitetail deer harvested was the best in four years, and the cow herd in Richland County, which is estimated in late winter, is now at its largest number in over thirty years, which is amazing!” Mutti said.
Even with all that, the divine gratitude was not complete. In mid-March of 2017, winter storm Stella was poised to hit their region hard. At the last moment, however, the storm changed direction and dumped 30 inches of snow 70 miles away. The region that had participated in the pro-Israel initiative received just two inches.
The clergymen decided to take their blessing of Israel even further. In response to the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement that calls for a boycott on Israeli products, 42 Christian clergies petitioned the Richland County treasurer, Bart Hamilton, in May 2017 and requested that he invest community funds in Israel bonds. The standing county policy did not permit such international investments, but at the urging of the clergy, the treasurer looked into the possibility of doing so. They cited the strong performance of these bonds as an economic incentive.
After consulting with the treasurer, the county’s prosecutor rewrote the investment guidelines for the county, which had stood for 25 years. The treasurer then announced at a public county commissioner board meeting his intention to invest between $100,000 to $200,000 in Israel bonds. That very day, the county appeared to reap a Divinely-sponsored return on the investment.
“The day the County Treasurer announced that the county government would invest in Israeli bonds, was the same meeting that half a million dollars in unexpected revenue were reportedly discovered to alleviate a budget shortfall!” Mutti shared.
It is clear, at least to Mutti and the clergy of North Central Ohio, that blessing the Children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has its advantages.
“There is something about Ohio, but we here feel a close brotherhood to Israel,” Mutti said. “Maybe it is our closeness to nature that allows us to see God’s presence clearly.”

UN Members Will Seal Their Own Fate On Jerusalem Capital Vote

Sanhedrin Declares: UN Vote Is Nations Choosing Blessing or Curse

“When all the nations of the earth gather against her. In that day, I will make Yerushalayim a stone for all the peoples to lift; all who lift it shall injure themselves.” Zechariah 12:3 (The Israel Bible™)
In a special session of 71 elders, the court of the nascent Sanhedrin called on the nations of the world to take their prophesied role in building Jerusalem by not voting against the declaration of the President Trump in the United Nations, emphasizing that this was an auspicious moment that will decide their fate, whether for blessing or curse.
The General Assembly is scheduled to vote Thursday on a resolution that would express “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem.” This vote comes in response to President Trump’s speech two weeks ago in which he acknowledged Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The UN resolution also calls on countries not to move their embassies to Jerusalem.
The Sanhedrin prefaced its declaration with a verse from Isaiah.
In all of My sacred mount Nothing evil or vile shall be done; For the land shall be filled with devotion to Hashem As water covers the sea. Isaiah 11:9
The declaration reads:
The nations should now take this opportunity to advance their required role in building God’s House in Jerusalem, the House of Universal Peace, on Mount Moriah, as prophesied in the Bible in order to bring about the long-awaited world peace.
Nations that vote for this evil decree via their representatives are instruments of destruction and their fate is sealed, as has been the case throughout history for those nations who have chosen the path of evil.
For the nations that have, until now, come against Jerusalem this vote is an opportunity to leave their evil ways. If not, they are sealing their own fate and will see judgments from heaven. The nations that support the US president’s declaration will gain merit in heaven.
We emphasize that this vote does not affect the prophecies concerning Jerusalem as the City of God since God’s word is eternal. It is Jerusalem’s fate to be a Light Unto the Nations.
Any nation that desires life will act intelligently and support the declaration of the United States.”
Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the spokesman for the Sanhedrin, explained the proclamation in simpler terms.
“Every child who learns the Bible knows that if you bless Israel, you will be blessed, and if you curse Israel, you will be cursed,” Rabbi Weiss told Breaking Israel News, citing the verse.
I will bless those who bless you And curse him that curses you; And all the families of the earth Shall bless themselves by you. Genesis 12:3
“This does not come from any special powers that Israel has and it is not for our benefit,” Rabbi Weiss explained. “Israel is God’s tool in this world for testing the hearts of men. By their actions towards Israel, men and even entire countries, show their feelings towards God. Right now, the world is being called upon, nation by nation, to display this.”
This vote in the UN General Assembly comes just two days after an identical vote in the UN Security Council. In that vote, the US stood alone as 14 countries voted to condemn the president’s recognition of Jerusalem. The US Ambassador Nikki Haley vetoed the resolution, preventing it from passing.
This series of events stands in stark contrast to what took place exactly one year ago, when, in the final days of his presidency, Barack Obama chose not to use a veto to block a UN Security Council vote declaring the Israeli presence in Jerusalem to be illegal. President Trump, who had already won the election but was awaiting his inauguration, posted a nearly-prophetic tweet.

Do Biblical Commands To Support Israel Mean Anything?

Biblical Reasons to Stand with Israel as the World Combats Terrorism

“Sojourn in this land and I will be with you and bless you.” (Genesis 26:2–6)
Western civilization is facing an onslaught of conflicting messages. On the one hand, hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees are being welcomed into countries around the world under the auspices of humanitarian aid. On the other hand, people are fearful of the spread of radical Islam and the terrorism which comes with this extremism.
Yet, Israel remains on the front page of news reports around the world. As the only democracy in the Middle East, a place where all religions are free to worship and all cultures attend its universities, Breaking Israel News sat down with David Rubin, the founder and president of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund and a survivor of a miraculous terror attack, to hear his views on Islam and the Biblical reasons to stand with Israel.

“I always talk about the role Israel plays in the world,” Rubin told Breaking Israel News. “Despite it being a tiny country, smaller than the size of New Jersey, it is the world leader for freedom against Islamic terror and the encroaching Islamic tsunami taking place today in Israel, the US and across all western civilizations.”
Rubin explained that the goal of Islam is to change western civilization from a Judeo-Christian way of life to one under Islamic Sharia law. “If that happens,” he continued, “freedom of press, religion, dress and speech will be done away with. Islamic Sharia law will take over which does not tolerate anything but Islam.”
Israel may be on the front lines battling terror and Islamic extremism. But, more and more countries are finding their demographic landscapes shifting dramatically. “Muslims are not only looking to destroy Israel,” noted Rubin. “Rather, they seek the end of all of western civilization and the rest of the free world as we know it.”
According to Rubin, today, people do not understand the need to stand with Israel. Rubin, who lives in Israel’s Biblical heartland, explained the Biblical reasons and practical importance of supporting the Holy Land.
Quoting God’s promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you [Israel], and curse those who curse you,”  Rubin shared, “As a religious person, I believe in God’s promises. When the US stood with Israel and didn’t force us to give up our land, America thrived. Since the Carter administration, presidents have pressed Israel to hand over land and the US has suffered the consequences.”
The word “Israel” is mentioned more than 2,300 times in the Bible, second only to the various names of God. As it says in Deuteronomy 11:12, Israel is “a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.”
“God is clearly passionate about the land of Israel and it’s people. Shouldn’t we all be?” asked Rubin.
Today, many people around the world believe that the prophecy of Isaiah 43:6 is being fulfilled: “Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth”. Millions of dispersed Jews have returned to the Holy Land and the once barren country is flourishing.
“But, terrorism has taken its toll,” noted Rubin. “It is critical for the west to defend and help those that fight terrorism. I believe that God placed Israel in the Middle East surrounded by Arab countries so that we can be a light unto the nations as it says in Isaiah 49:6, ‘I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.’ We have a special responsibility to lead. But, we cannot do that without support.”
Rubin points out three ways that people can stand with Israel. He stated, “First, pray for Israel’s welfare and that we should meet the challenges we face every day, as it says in Psalm 122:6, ‘Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love You.’”

Second, get politically involved. Support political leaders in the free world who stand with Israel, not those who ask to withdraw from Israeli land, especially the Biblical heartland.
Thirdly, connect directly with those on the front lines. God sent Abraham specifically to this land, as it says in Genesis 12:1, ‘Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation.’
“We, on the front lines have listened to God’s command and feel that we are holding down the borders for the ultimate redemption. But, we need help, especially when it comes to supporting children traumatized by terror,” Rubin explained to Breaking Israel News. “The Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund heals trauma and restores the lost innocence of children. This is our future so that they can grow into productive, idealistic and caring adults willing to sacrifice for the Holy Land.”
Rubin ended by noting that there is a Jewish tradition that after a person passes on to the next world they receive a review of their life, “similar to the self-reflection that people do as they approach the end of the calendar year.”
“We learn from Jewish sources that when a person dies and comes before his Creator, he is asked, ‘Have I stood with God and been good to my family? Have I stood up for my country, God’s chosen people, the people of Israel and the Land of Israel?’ Don’t wait until that point. Stand and support Israel today.”

We MUST Support Israel For Many Reasons But The Most Important Is That If We Don't WE Will Collapse As A Country!

Huckabee to Obama: God Protects Israel, US Should Do the Same

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)
Thousands of people attended a pro-Israel rally in front of Washington’s Capitol Hill Sunday, calling on the US to do more to support the beleaguered country. The event was organized by former Arkansas Governor and potential Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, along with Penny Nance, president of Concerned Women for America.
Huckabee organized the rally in response to US President Barack Obama’s lackluster support for Israel during Operation Protective Edge. “It’s time for the United States to join together in prayer and support for Israel. I have been to Israel nearly 30 times over the past 41 years and have never seen the nation under such threat,” Mr. Huckabee stated prior to the rally.
“Israel is our closest ally and friend in the Middle East, and they are suffering due to the weak policies of the Obama administration. The president has done little to recognize the growing threat of Hamas. God has protected this tiny, but increasingly powerful nation, and it’s time for the United States to do the same,” he added.
In addition to Huckabee and Nance, notable attendees included Zionist Organization of America president Morton Klein, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol, Republican Representatives Trent Franks of Arizona and Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, American Values president Gary Bauer and Israeli MK Danny Danon.
“Thousands of Americans have come here today to express how important it is to support Israel, after Operation Protective Edge and the kidnapping and murder of the three teens,” Huckabee told the audience.
“A clear call needs to go out from here that hasn’t been heard from the [Obama administration], that Israel has the right and the moral obligation to protect the security of its citizens against radical Islamic terrorism.”
“We waste more time telling Israel not to build in the land that was given to Abraham than we do telling the Iranians to stop building bombs intended for the United States,” he said.
Danon expressed Israel’s appreciation for the show of support. Israel has, he said, “another Iron Dome in the thousands of Americans who support the State of Israel with all their hearts and stand by its side always.”
