When the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) held its annual convention, only one  of the presidential candidates who is campaigning in Iowa attended the event alongside an un-indicted World Trade Center bombing co-conspirator and supporter of killing gay people —  Senator Bernie Sanders.

Bernie’s appearance at ISNA’s presidential forum was moderated by an Islamist who had described Hezbollah’s terrorism against Israel as “legitimate resistance”. This wasn’t unusual. Bernie’s campaign manager, Faiz Shakir, had been a member of an Islamist organization in college where he had been accused of helping raise money for a Hamas front group.

And CAIR’s presidential poll demonstrates that Bernie’s Islamist outreach is paying off. CAIR’s poll of Muslim voters claims that 39% support Bernie Sanders, while only 27% back Joe Biden.

In Iowa, 5 mosques hosted caucuses as “satellite sites” meant as “safe spaces” for Muslims. Muslims in Iowa don’t need a safe space. No one is going to be assaulting them at Democrat caucuses. But holding these satellite caucuses in mosques gives Islamic organizations spaces under their control.

Iowa Democrats had decided to aggressively erode the boundaries of mosque and state and the caucuses went forward with voters having to remove their shoes if they wanted to caucus. Of the ten satellite caucus facilities in Des Moines, only one is a church and four are mosques.

The first site of the Iowa satellite caucus was the Muslim Community Organization, also known as Masjid An-Noor, where there was widespread support for Bernie Sanders. Imam Jaaphar Abdul Hamed of the mosque endorsed Bernie Sanders and welcomed Rep. Ilhan Omar, an Islamist and anti-Semitic Sanders backer. And 99% of the mosque caucus, caucused for Bernie Sanders. That gave Bernie 9 delegates.

These were the kinds of tribal results you tend to see in elections in Iraq or Afghanistan. Now in Iowa.

“When the Prophet built his mosque, he didn’t build it just for salah,” Imam Hamed told Middle East Eye, an Islamist site linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. “The mosque is a place for everything that concerns Muslims.” And Mohammed’s theocratic elimination of the separation of mosque and state is in play in Iowa.

Abshir Omar, a Somali refugee and former CAIR-Iowa director, hired by Bernie Sanders as his Iowa political coordinator, described this as his mosque. Counter-terrorism expert John Guandolo has said that Omar told him that Islam calls for the murder of gay people.

At the second mosque, the Al Najah Islamic Center, a majority came out for Bernie Sanders. The actual caucus address is for the Tawba Islamic Center. This appears to be a largely Somali mosque. Pictures from the actual caucus show Bernie signs on the wall and a non-Somali Muslim crowd.

There is no explanation given for the discrepancy. But it’s a pattern with the Muslim satellite caucus sites having either the wrong names or the wrong addresses listed, either in error or deliberately. Mosques are routinely listed as cultural centers. This raises questions about the credibility of the Iowa caucuses which the botched results only reinforce.

A majority at the Bosnian Islamic Center Zem Zem backed Bernie.

The name of the Islamic location is wrongly listed as “Zen Zen”. Islamic organizations are not very “Zen”. Despite its name, it is a mosque built by Muslim refugees.

The Islamic and Education Center Ezan was the fourth mosque. This is another Bosnian mosque decorated with the declaration, “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His prophet”. Not exactly the cradle of democracy.

While the Ezan mosque initially split between Bernie and Biden, Biden eventually won 6 delegates to 3 of Bernie’s because of his support for the Muslim side in the conflict in the former Yugoslavia.

The fifth was the Islamic and Cultural Center Bosniak in Granger. This is the mega-mosque built by the Center in Des Moines over in Granger because its Muslim attendees were too crowded in Des Moines. An imam from the mosque had previously been arrested for sexually assaulting a mother and daughter. This caucus appears to have been won by Biden.

The satellite mosque caucus locations provide Islamists in Iowa with disproportionate influence. And that influence was used to benefit Bernie Sanders who has emerged as the Islamist candidate. While Biden tended to perform better in the Bosnian mosques, Sanders was the Islamist winner. This is not a wholly new development.

Bernie had also pandered to Islamist groups in 2016 and won 60% of the vote in Dearbornistan. (Dearborn, MI).  The Arab American News had claimed that “Arab Americans voted 2 to 1 for Sanders in almost every east Dearborn precinct.” But in the 2020 race, he has effectively outsourced his campaign to Islamists.

Sanders had also received the endorsement of Rep. Ako Abdul-Samad, the only Muslim elected official in the Iowa House. Samad had chaired the American Muslim Alliance. The AMA has a history of co-sponsoring anti-Semitic events, including one which called Jews “pigs and monkeys” and another which had cheered the murder of Jews. “Muslims, we will make a difference in this race; we will make a difference across this country,” Samad had vowed, while standing next to Rep. Ilhan Omar.

In Iowa, pandering to Islamists appears to have paid off. While Muslims only make up a small percentage of Iowa’s population, the caucus system can allow small groups to exercise a disproportionate impact if they are willing to get involved. And in Iowa, mosques not only got involved, but were able to host 5 satellite caucuses. That’s not enough to shift the balance. But enough to have an impact. And that is what is truly worrisome. While the Democrats worried about Russian hackers, the real hacking in Iowa caucuses was being carried out by Islamists who were operating on the inside.

“The mosque should be involved because even during the prophet’s time, all the decisions were made in the mosque,” a mosque worshiper commented at a caucus that went almost entirely for Bernie Sanders.

Education Jihad: Promoting Islam in American Schools

For decades, organizations and individuals have undermined our American education system by attacking our beliefs in a constitutional republic and our fundamental Judeo-Christian principles.  These have been supplanted with a "multicultural" viewpoint, which has taken the place of traditional American perspectives and values with accommodation and appeasement of protected minorities depicted as victims of the dominant culture.  Oil-rich Arab-Muslim nations, including Saudi Arabia and its Muslim Brotherhood cohorts, have used multiculturalism to target impressionable youths in our public schools, promote Islam, and advance Islamic political agendas.  Under the subterfuge of promoting a multicultural educational environment, these agents have replaced time-honored educational materials of American ideals and historical perspectives with anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Judeo-Christian, and pro-Islamic rhetoric.

This re-engineering of the education system to disproportionately highlight the virtues and contributions of Islamic ideology is part of "civilizational jihad," the enemy's term for the subversion of our society.  It was defined in the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document "An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America," presented as evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial.  The document calls for the stealth takeover of North America through infiltration of all of society, with the ultimate goal of destroying the U.S. and turning it into a Muslim nation.

Over the past 40-plus years, this infiltration has occurred in education, with the Saudi royal family contributing billions in gifts and endowments to U.S. universities to spread anti-American and anti-Israel propaganda.  Through creation of Middle East studies centers at top institutions of higher learning, the Saudis have influenced curricula and textbook content.  Those involved include several Muslim Brotherhood affiliates and Islamist organizations, such as the Institute on Religion and Civil Values (formerly the Council on Islamic Education), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Institute of Islamic Information and Education (IIIE), the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT), Saudi-endowed Islamic and Middle East studies centers, and others.  Their activities within our public schools include seminars and training programs for teachers, textbook creation and editing, curriculum development, lesson plans, student worksheets, and instructional videos.

Saudi success comes mainly from exploitation of Title VI of the Higher Education Act, which authorizes federal grants to university programs, including Middle East studies centers.  Title VI grantees must produce outreach programs for our nation's educators, and pro-Islamic organizations have attained legitimacy by partnering with top universities.  Using U.S. taxpayer-subsidized lesson plans and seminars for America's K-12 teachers with the imprimatur of schools like Harvard, infiltrators easily integrated Islamic perspectives into the K-12 curriculum, avoiding  public vetting and government oversight.  Materials promoting Islam, denigrating Judaism and Christianity, and criticizing alleged American prejudice against the Muslim world insidiously made their way into American education.  Some of the materials in use go so far as to blame America for terrorism and decry prejudice against Muslims in the U.S.

One of the key teaching resources promoted by Harvard's Center for Middle Eastern Studies outreach program was the controversial, propaganda-laden "Arab World Studies Notebook," a factually incorrect textbook purported to promote "the Arab point of view."  The text is almost devoid of citations and promotes a pro-Islam, Muslim-centric view of history.  According to a recent report by the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA), "Indoctrinating Our Youth: How a U.S. Public School Curriculum Skews the Arab-Israeli Conflict and Islam," the widely used text erroneously cites Jerusalem as "an Arab city" and fails to acknowledge ancient Judaic and Christian ties to the Israeli capital.  It fallaciously claims that Islam's ties are "equally long and much deeper," even though Islam emerged only in the 7th century A.D.  The Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA) noted that the "notebook" implies that Jews have undue impact on U.S. foreign policy and that Israel was created after American Jewish lobbying.  It also proposes the supremacy of Islam and denigrates beliefs held by Jews and Christians, suggesting that the Quran "synthesizes and perfects earlier revelations."

Meanwhile, a key Islamic educational textbook author has been Muslim convert Susan Douglass.  A principal researcher and writer for the Institute on Religion and Civil Values (IRCV), Douglass was also an educational consultant for the Saudi-funded Georgetown University Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding and a member of the editorial board of the Muslim Brotherhood's ISNA.  The IIIT, created expressly to influence higher education, teachers, and textbooks, published books written by Douglass used in American schools.  Douglass reviewed world history textbooks of three major publishers – McGraw Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Prentice Hall – and was allowed to present a view promoting Islam and in accordance with IRCV recommendations.  Douglass and the IRCV have had a major impact on the textbook presentation of Islam, minimizing its violent aspects and making the ideology attractive to non-Muslim children.  Douglass was also instrumental in developing standards for teaching religion in public schools and providing teacher and curriculum guidelines.

Douglas and her husband previously taught at the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, dubbed "Terror High" by some media outlets.  In 2007, the school was found in violation of federal law by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) for using discriminatory materials that teach students to "hate" Jews, Christians, and other "unbelievers" and that espouse violent jihad as a religious duty for Muslims.

The organization for which Douglass has been an author, the Institute on Religion and Civic Values, is a national non-profit with a mission "to support and strengthen American public education" by drawing on "civic, ethical and educational principles in Islam."  The group's leadership and collaborators are connected to Muslim Brotherhood organizations such as IIIT, CAIR, and the Muslim American Society (MAS), among others.  IRCV focuses on portraying a positive view of Islam in K-12 education and vetting textbooks.  It developed a curriculum manual for students to "simulate becoming Muslims"; was instrumental in minimizing the teaching of Judaism, Christianity, and other faiths; and changed the educational approach in many schools from informational teaching on Islam to indoctrination and proselytizing.

Meanwhile, yet another organization, The Institute of Islamic Information and Education, an ISNA branch, began in Chicago as far back as1985 to convey the Islamic message throughout North America, open non-Muslims to Islam, and "remove fabricated materials from circulation."  It evaluates educational materials for their portrayal of Islam and monitors books, publishers, authors, and school districts for anything deemed "misinformation" and "misperceptions" of Islam and Muslims.  The institute also produces and distributes dawa booklets and videos.

In 2011 in the Newton, Massachusetts school district, the Muslim push came to a head.  Parents expressed concern about divergence from factual, objective accounts of history and current events, as well as one-sided materials designed to indoctrinate students in specific political agendas.  Research by Newton parents revealed that the concept of jihad was presented solely as an inner personal struggle of spiritual discipline and not the predominant, traditional obligation to wage war in Allah's name and bring the world under Islam.  Texts presented Islam as peaceful and tolerant.  Parents found that Islam received significantly more study time than was devoted to the avowed "false beliefs" of Christianity and Judaism.  Parental complaints about the controversial curriculum were characterized by school officials as "McCarthyesque."  School officials accused parents of jeopardizing academic freedom and defended the materials.

CAMERA examined the materials and concurred that textbooks and lesson plans focused on teaching students about Islam and presenting foundational Islamic beliefs, historical Islamic expansion, and the so-called Islamic "Golden Age."  Missing were negative aspects of Islamic history and societal practices, including the extensive and longstanding Arab-Muslim slave trade, honor killings, stoning of accused adulteresses, and treatment of women as property.  Muslim women were falsely claimed to have more autonomy than Western women, and extensive Muslim bigotry in the U.S. was presented.  Terrorism was falsely described as a deviation and misinterpretation of the tenets of the faith.  CAMERA published a monograph on its findings, further alarming parents with the many anti-American, anti-Judeo-Christian, pro-Islamic materials existent within the Newton school district.

Another Islamic indoctrination program, "Access Islam," has been instituted in various school systems nationwide.  Produced with assistance from Shabbir Mansuri, founding director of IRCV, and CAIR-affiliated Debbie Almontaser, and funded by the U.S. Department of Education, "Access Islam" teaches students how to follow the five pillars of Islam and instills the belief that Allah is G-d.  According to the Christian Action Network (CAN), students must learn and interpret verses from the Quran.  A video features a Christian convert to Islam who jubilantly explains how he now worships the one true G-d, in a direct slam against Christianity and Judaism.  Wherever "Access Islam" is presented, similar programs are not provided on Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, or any other religion.

All of the school programs cited above represent a multi-pronged approach to destroy Western civilization and impose an Islamist worldview through university endowments, educator indoctrination, and development of history textbooks and curricula for K-12 students.  Under the guise of teaching history and promoting multiculturalism, American students are indoctrinated in the supremacy of Islam above all other faiths.  In several cases, federal courts have upheld the right of public schools to indoctrinate students in the Muslim religion and its spiritual practices, categorically denying the same privilege to Christian doctrine.  In light of this doctrinal push, parents must be vigilant and steadfast as stewards of their children's educational and moral development.  Schools and administrators must be held accountable.

When President Trump recently presented the 2018 budget, he recognized Title VI as a vehicle to promote anti-American, anti-Israel, and pro-Islamic propaganda and eliminated its funding.  It remains to be seen if Congress implements his request and eliminates this insidious program.

Speaking at the Islamic Society of North American Convention last weekend, 

Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour ripped into the Trump administration 

and called for “jihad” against Trump. ISNA itself has a long history of ties to 

Islamic extremism. As Jordan Schachtel of Conservative Review notes,

 Sarsour began the speech by thanking Siraj Wajjah – a man “listed as an

 unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.”

It got worse from there.

She ranted:

Why sisters and brothers, why are we so unprepared. Why are we so afraid of this administration and the potential chaos that they will ensue on our community?...I hope, that when we stand up to those who oppress our communities, that Allah accepts from us that as a form of jihad....We are struggling against tyrants and rulers not only abroad...but here in the United States of America where you have fascists and white supremacists and Islamophobes reining in the White House.

She concluded, “Our number one and top priority is to protect and defend our 

community. It is not to assimilate and to please any other people in authority. 

And our top priority…is to please Allah, and only Allah.”

Sarsour, who was called a “Champion of Change” by the Obama White House, 

has a long history of speaking kindly of shariah law and terrorists. Sarsour

 stated that underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was a CIA agent;

 she supports attacks on the Israeli Defense Force; she stated that “the sacrifice 

the black Muslims slaves went through in this country is nothing compared to

 Islamophobia today”; she stated that Brigitte Gabriel and victim of Islamic

 genital mutilation Ayaan Hirsi Ali didn’t deserve to be called women, explaining, 

‘I wish I could take their vaginas away – they don’t deserve to be women.”

Sarsour’s worship among leftists has become a bugaboo for the Democratic 

Party; her extremism continues to alienate Americans. No wonder.

Ellison has spoken at a convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). Yet ISNA has actually admitted its ties to Hamas, which styles itself the Palestinian arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Justice Department actually classified ISNA among entities “who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood.”

It gets worse. In 2008, Ellison accepted $13,350 from the Muslim American Society (MAS) to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca. The Muslim American Society is a Muslim Brotherhood organization: “In recent years, the U.S. Brotherhood operated under the name Muslim American Society, according to documents and interviews. One of the nation’s major Islamic groups, it was incorporated in Illinois in 1993 after a contentious debate among Brotherhood members.” That’s from the Chicago Tribune in 2004, in an article that is now carried on the Muslim Brotherhood’s English-language website, Ikhwanweb.

Also, the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) raised large amounts of for Ellison’s first campaign, and he has spoken at numerous CAIR events. Yet CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups.

This is today’s Democratic Party.

“Keith Ellison’s Saudi Arabia Trip Included Meetings With Radical Cleric, Bank That Funds Suicide Bombings,” by Brent Scher, Washington Free Beacon, November 29, 2016:

Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) during a 2008 trip to Saudi Arabia met with a radical Muslim cleric who endorsed killing U.S. soldiers and with the president of a bank used to pay the families of Palestinian suicide bombers.

Ellison, now a leading candidate to head the Democratic National Committee, was brought to Saudi Arabia for a two-week trip by the Muslim American Society (MAS), a group founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood to act as its “overt arm” in the United States.

Details of Ellison’s religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia are scarce, but photographs discovered by the Washington Free Beacon show that Ellison met with controversial figures during the trip.

A photo album of Ellison’s hajj trip posted by MAS’s Minnesota chapter includes a picture of the congressman meeting with Sheikh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, who was vice president of a Muslim Brotherhood-created group that in 2004 issued a fatwa urging “jihad” against U.S. troops in Iraq and supported the Palestinians’ Second Intifada against Israel.

“The Jihad-waging Iraqi people’s resistance to the foreign occupation … is a Shari’a duty incumbent upon anyone belonging to the Muslim nation,” the fatwa said, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Bin Bayyah’s group, the International Association of Muslim Scholars, issued the fatwa after a conference in Beirut, Lebanon.

The group was founded by Yusuf Qaradawi, a Muslim Brotherhood leader who was banned from visiting the United States because of his calls to kill Jews and Americans.

Bin Biyyah issued an additional fatwa in 2009, shortly after his meeting with Ellison, “barring all forms of normalization with Israel.”

Ellison also took time on his trip to meet with Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, the president of a Saudi Arabia-based bank that funnels millions of dollars to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers in Israel.

Ali’s bank, the Islamic Development Bank, maintains the Al-Quds Intifada Fund and the Al-Aqsa Fund, which were established in 2000 to fund Palestinian terrorism and provide money to the families of Palestinian “martyrs.” The funds were established with an initial investment of $200 million.

Ali said his bank—which is referred to as the “Bank of the Intifada” by Anne Bayefsky, director of the Touro College Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust—is responsible “for the smooth functioning of the two funds” and that there is “no delay” in paying families of “martyrs.”

“There was no delay in paying financial assistance to the families of Palestinian martyrs,” Ali said in 2001. “We have started paying them soon after receiving the money.”

Ellison’s congressional office has not responded to numerous requests for comment on his trip.

Ellison told congressional investigators on the House Ethics Committee that he did not have any “meetings of an official nature” on his trip and “instead undertook only the more personal itinerary scheduled by the Muslim American Society.”…

Kyle Shideler, director of the Center for Security Policy’s threat information office, expressed alarm when told of Ellison’s meetings.

“The notion that a sitting congressman would meet with a man whose organization only four years earlier had issued a fatwa calling for fighting Americans in Iraq once again illustrates the truly outrageous depth of Rep. Ellison’s affiliation with Islamist groups,” Shideler said….

The Muslim Brotherhood and its various offshoots have chosen 2016 as the year they will turn their focus away from the Middle East and toward the Western democracies seen as ripe for revolutionary activity, says a former FBI counter-terrorism specialist and Islam expert.

The revolutionary jihad movement that swept through the Middle East and North Africa as part of the “Arab Spring” is starting to take root in Europe with attacks already carried out on Paris and Brussels, said John Guandolo.

This movement will eventually spread to the United States, said Guandolo, a former Marine and instructor at the U.S. Army War College who now provides training to law enforcement agencies that want to learn more about the jihadist network in the U.S.

That network is operated, he said, by the International Muslim Brotherhood through its many front organizations. Among them are the Muslim-American Society, or MAS; Muslim Student Association, or MSA; Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR; Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA; and North American Islamic Trust, or NAIT.

Guandolo, author of the book “Raising a Jihadi Generation,” said the Muslim Brotherhood is teaming up with the Black Lives Matter movement to create violent events that will surprise many police agencies in cities across the U.S.

He said parts of the strategy leaked out at the annual convention of the Muslim-American Society on Dec. 28, 2015, in Chicago.

Nihad Awad, executive director of CAIR, was very upfront about the U.S. Muslim community’s embracing of Black Lives Matter.

“We have direct evidence of Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas working with anarchists and Black Lives Matter,” Guandolo told WND. “You have Nihad Awad saying, ‘Black Lives Matter is our matter,’ and ‘2016 is our year to make our mark.'”

At that same convention, another Muslim Brotherhood operative, Khalilah Sabra, the executive director and project developer for the Muslim Society of America’s Immigrant Justice Center, was even more blunt.

“We are the community that staged a revolution across the world,” she said. “If we can do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?”

Guandolo sees a further coming together of the Muslim Brotherhood entities and the forces of radical revolutionaries associated with Black Lives Matter.

"Sabra is a senior executive in the Muslim Brotherhood, but she also represents the Department of Justice in their executive office of immigration review, and she's saying we had a revolution in the Middle East, why can't we have one in the U.S.?" Guandolo said. "That is astonishing. These two movements are taking parallel paths."

While Brussels was one of the most unprotected and jihadist-friendly cities in Europe, other cities are also vulnerable, not only in Europe but in America, he said.

Making the same mistakes

Guandolo said the U.S. is probably less than 10 years behind Europe in terms of the advancement of Islam.

"You have a different situation here. We're much larger than any of the countries in Europe, and we have some significant cultural differences. But we are making the same mistakes," Guandolo said.

"We have Jewish and Christian leaders falling over themselves to kiss the asses of Muslims, and they clearly have no clue to what Islam teaches -- when Muslims are teaching one another -- nor do they understand the jihadi network here and that almost all the major U.S. Muslim organizations are dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood."

Guandolo is advising several states right now on security issues and has uploaded a wealth of information, including original source documents from the Muslim Brotherhood, on his website, Understanding The Threat.

"I do get a lot of these questions from state leaders, and I tell them, 'You're going to see individual acts of jihad,' but you should think in terms of one precipitating event," he said.

For example, in California a couple years ago, there was an attack on the power grid.

"And if they had not been able to shut that down quickly, you would have had a large portion of California without power for up to a year," Guandolo said. "We still don't know who did that, but it was a handful of individuals armed with weapons and wire cutters, and that could have been a huge precipitating event followed by riots and shootings. You just can't make this stuff up. They are preparing the battlefield in every way, and we are asleep at the wheel."

Guandolo still works in law enforcement and once commanded a SWAT unit in Washington, D.C.

"I can tell you most SWAT teams are in no way prepared for what is coming," he said. "And I'm not talking about their equipment. They are just not mentally prepared for real, raging battle, a battle that can last eight to 10 hours on the streets. They're not prepared for that, but that's where we are heading."

10,000 ISIS fighters ready to launch attacks?

While the Islamic movement is still largely focused on the Muslim world – trying to get Muslims to be Shariah compliant and to support jihad in places like Egypt, Syria, North Africa and Asia – that is getting ready to change.

"Formerly more moderate countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and Jordan," he said, are being pressured to become more hardline.

"So their focus, per their stated strategy by leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood since 2010, really was focusing on the Muslim world. But this is the year that their strategy is supposed to turn," Guandolo said. "They're entering that time where they turn focus to the West."

"So just imagine that instead of 400 fighters in Europe ready to launch attacks, just imagine if it were 10,000 of them going into Italy and storming Rome," he added. "We think that's incomprehensible but I would say we need to prepare for that. That day is coming. Our leaders have no clue about the history of the West's battle with Islam. The West has fought nine wars with Islam. It's getting ready to happen again."

Among the presidential candidates, Guandolo sees some who he considers a work in progress and some who will never wake up to reality because they have too many ties to the wrong people.

None of the candidates are schooled in the strategies of the Muslim Brotherhood to the extent that is needed, he said, but Ted Cruz and Donald Trump offer hope that they can get up to speed based on some of their early choices as foreign-policy advisers.

Trump, for instance, is getting advice from Walid Phares, a former senior fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, and Joseph E. Schmitz, a former Defense Department inspector general, both of whom Guandolo says "get it" about Shariah and jihad being the basis of Islamic teaching worldwide. These men received critical reviews in the New York Times, which said that, other than Phares, they were unknown to insiders, who were "left scratching their heads."

In an interview Thursday with WND and Radio America, Phares, a Lebanese Christian scholar and Fox News terrorism analyst, said the fight against Islamic terror needs to be waged at the ideological level, not just with aggressive law enforcement.

Cruz's choices of former Pentagon official Frank Gaffney was mocked by Politico, which said Cruz was drawing "from the anti-Islam fringe."

If the establishment media are lambasting the choices by Trump and Cruz, that's good news for conservatives who have been unhappy with the weak response of President Obama, who refuses to even utter the words "Islamic terrorism."

Guandolo said Trump's selection of Joe Schmitz is particularly hopeful.

"I know he understands Shariah and how it doesn't work in our system, and he certainly understands the Muslim Brotherhood is all over this country and he understands their network," Guandolo said.

"But then you have Mrs. Clinton, who just came out and said 'we have a few extremists' in Islam. Really? How many is a few? I don't even know what that means at this point."

States grappling with Muslim influx

Guandolo said even the most well-prepared, most conservative states, like Texas, have yet to fully grasp the extent of what they are up against. Texas has received more Muslim refugees than any other state other than California since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

"In a state like Texas it's interesting to look at the dynamics. There's a huge jihadi presence there but you have a huge problem with false pride," he said. "People are of the mindset 'this is Texas, we'll kick their butts,' but the people they're working with in the Muslim community are all jihadis. There's also a huge number of people in the security community that understand what's going on, that get it, but they fear they won't be allowed to take action."

Part of the Muslim Brotherhood strategy is to cast any criticism of Islam as "Islamophobic" thereby pitting Americans against Americans.

That strategy is working, Guandolo says.

"A lot of the problem is you've got communities battling themselves, as far as identifying the threat and what to do about it," he said. "Humans will long tolerate great abuses, but there's going to come a tipping point. The problem is that the tipping point for Americans – if it comes too far after the bad guys have had an advantage – we're in trouble. That's what's happened in Europe. You're dealing with leaders that are just psychotically disconnected from reality."

The Brotherhood's "Explanatory Memorandum" captured by the FBI in a 2004 raid lays out a strategy to use America's own leaders and its own liberal policies to destroy the U.S. from within.

"The Muslim Brotherhood says it will destroy America ... 'by our hand,'" Guandolo said. "And so if they can get the leaders on their side while at the same time the people are waking up to what is really happening, it is their goal to destroy our faith, not just our faith in God but faith in our system, in our leadership, in our security apparatus. When citizens lose that faith and their leaders become so corrupt – not in the sense that they're stealing money but in that they are not fulfilling their duties to protect – then you have set the stage for exactly what the Islamic jihadis want. So when they strike there is not an adequate response."

The Explanatory Memorandum also revealed that nonviolent "civilization jihad" and later violent jihad will be launched from the mosques.

The U.S. now has upward of 2,500 mosques, and Guandolo says at least 75 percent of them are controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood through NAIT and other organizations.

The coming tragedy

"So think about a Paris-type scenario in your town or city, where you have two or three explosions and grenades going off. Then you just marry up two or three other events around the country. They don't have to be big events, just two guys going into a school with grenades and start sawing people's heads off," he said. "You will have Americans losing their minds. Government will say, 'Simmer down, we don't know what this was,' when everybody who still has a functioning brain knows exactly what it was."

Guandolo says the Brotherhood has been developing its network of mosques in the U.S. since the 1980s.

He said the key to understanding Islam is to listen to what the top Islamic thinkers and imams are saying to other Muslims, then disregard what they say to non-Muslims.

"Islam is what Islam says it is. When Muslims teach Muslims, when they teach one another, they say jihad is obligatory and Muhammad is the perfect example of a man and he is Allah's messenger and he just went out and did jihad," Guandolo said.

'The worst of all creatures'

Is there a peaceful, mystical form of Islam?

Guandolo says there is, but you won't find it preached in any mainstream American mosque.

"It's in the homes of people who may self-identify as Muslims and are teaching their children there is a way to live outside of Shariah, but the fact is that is not taught in any mosque or Islamic school. And what they teach is what Islam is."

He points to Surah 98:6 of the Quran.

"Allah said in Surah 98:6 that non-Muslims are the 'worst of all creatures.' That does not mean everyone who self identifies as a Muslim is living according to Shariah, but that is not Islam as taught in the mosque. When someone seeks to impose Shariah on someone else, they're a threat and we need to be aggressively pursuing them and we are not."
