Like Arpaio, Massachusetts Sheriff Wants Inmates To Work For Their Supper

Massachusetts sheriff offers Trump inmate labor to build The Wall

Donald Trump seems to be moving forward with his campaign promise to build a wall. But who will build it? Massachusetts Sheriff Thomas Hodgson has an idea: get inmates to do it.
Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson detailed the offer as he was sworn in to a fourth term in office on Wednesday. He hopes Mr. Trump will take him up on the plan, which he said would pay dividends for the country and the inmates.
“I can think of no other project that would have such a positive impact on our inmates and our country than building this wall,” Sheriff Hodgson said in remarks prepared for his swearing-in ceremony. “Aside from learning and perfecting construction skills, the symbolism of these inmates building a wall to prevent crime in communities around the country, and to preserve jobs and work opportunities for them and other Americans upon release, can be very powerful.”
Hodgson’s idea doesn’t stop at the wall, either. His goal is to build a network of community service-oriented jails in which inmates could be deployed to help rebuild after natural disasters and act as the labor pool for major infrastructure projects.
It certainly could be argued that Hodgson’s idea would take away potential jobs from blue collar Americans. However, Jessica Vaughan, policy studies director at the Center for Immigration Studies, points out that inmates are often among those most affected by illegal immigration:
“Let’s not forget that some of the people most harmed by illegal immigration are people who have not had the chance to acquire education or skills, who sometimes turn to crime as a result, so if this project helps address their life challenges simultaneously from a policy angle and a personal angle, that’s really worth it,” she said.
She added: “And if illegal immigration is successfully slowed and enforcement increased in the interior, then construction is one of the industries where there should be some better job opportunities for Americans and legal immigrants.”
Additionally, Vaughan stated that border surveillance tools would help deter absconding inmates.
Do you think Trump should adopt Sheriff Hodgson’s idea?

Two Outspoken Patriots Might Go To Mexico

Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
During a radio interview Sunday, Sheriff Joe Arpaio declared his determination to go to Mexico to “straighten out the illegal immigration and drug smuggling problem,” and he suggested Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump accompany him.
The high-profile sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, also suggested the U.S. deploy its military inside Mexico to work with the country’s own military and law enforcement to stop illegal immigration and drug smuggling at their sources.
“I want to go to Mexico City or somewhere in Mexico to talk to the officials,” Arpaio exclaimed. “Now if Donald Trump wants to go with me, he can go with me. Because we both will talk about the economy, which is very critical.  So I’m not going to give in on this one.”
Arpaio was interviewed for “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” broadcast on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and Philadelphia’s NewsTalk 990 AM and online.
If he does visit Mexico, the famous sheriff warned, “I’m not going to go as a tourist. I’m going as a top law-enforcement official if I go.”
Arpaio spoke about some of his ideas to help with Mexico’s fledgling economy. He suggested Trump invest in real estate there to generate domestic jobs.
“If I was with him (Trump), you know what’s I’d say?” he asked Klein. “Hey, I’ll build two Trump towers in Mexico. Start hiring people there to get jobs so they don’t have to hop the fence and come into the Unites States. So I look at this as an economic problem, too. Not just a law enforcement, political problem.”
Arpaio said his border-security plan involves sending U.S. troops inside Mexico.
He said he would tell Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto “bilaterally that we would be happy to send our military across the border to work with their military and their federal police together and stop the drugs and stop the illegal immigration before it reaches the border.”
“That’s how you solve these cases whether it’s drug or anything else,” he maintained. “That would be my advice.”
Arpaio said he was serious about his offer to travel to Mexico, and has already made some inquiries. He said he encountered “resistance” from both the U.S. and Mexican governments and “I’ve had threats from cartels.”
“I don’t worry about it,” he added, referring to the cartel threats.
Two weeks ago, Trump and Arpaio appeared together at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, to condemn illegal immigration and its harmful effects.
“Mexico – I respect the country,” Trump said at the time. “They’re taking our jobs, they’re taking our manufacturing, they’re taking our money, they’re taking everything, and they’re killing us at the border.”

Just last Thursday during a visit at the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump indicated Hispanics “already do” love him because the billionaire businessman promises he’ll bring U.S. jobs back to American shores so those here legally will have opportunities to work.
“I’ll take jobs back from China, I’ll take jobs back from Japan,” Trump said. “The Hispanics are going to get those jobs, and they’re going to love Trump.”

Sheriff Joe Still On The Job And Still Believes Birth Certificate Is A Fraud

CNN anchor Jake Tapper ripped into Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio Thursday, excoriating Arpaio for daring to call President Barack Obama’s birth certificate a forgery.
On “The Lead,” Tapper said, “You’ve trafficked in this rather preposterous notion that Obama was not born in the United States and that he may have forged his birth certificate that he released.”
He continued, “Why would you risk your credibility on issues you care about – like illegal immigration, like law enforcement – by getting involved in this nonsense?”
“What do you mean ‘risk’?” Arpaio asked. “I’m the chief law enforcement officer elected by the people. I have a right to investigate and speak out. I’m not talking about where he came from. I don’t care where he came from. We’re working on a fraudulent, forged government document. That’s what we are doing.”
Tapper interjected, “You’re maintaining that the birth certificate that the president of the United States revealed and released to the public, you’re maintaining that that is fraudulent?”
“That’s right,” Arpaio responded.

The CNN host asked, “Is there anyone, any credible law enforcement person outside of you and your organization and your contractors, who has any agreement with you on this?”
“No, they haven’t looked at it,” Arpaio said. “What are you kidding? I’m probably the only law enforcement official who has looked into it. Nobody looks into it. They shy away from it.”
Once again, a flustered Tapper interrupted: “Because the president was born in Hawaii.”
“I don’t care where he was born,” Arpaio replied. “I’m talking about a fraudulent government document, a birth certificate. That’s all I’m concerned with. That’s a violation of the law.”
Tapper further questioned the sheriff, asking if he came to his conclusion because “there are glitches in some of the printing.”
Sheriff Joe said he wouldn’t “get into all the technical details” at that moment, but he added: “I’ve been around a long time. I’m not stupid enough to even talk to you about it if I didn’t think there was a lot of smoke and fire there.”

As WND reported on July 5, Arpaio affirmed he is “pretty well convinced” Obama’s birth certificate, as released by the White House in 2011, is a “fraudulent, fake document.”
“I’ve been in law enforcement 55 years,” stated Arpaio. “I think I know a fraudulent, fake document. I’m not a computer expert. I rely on my people. But I’m pretty well convinced it’s a fake document.”
The sheriff was being interviewed for “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” broadcast on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and Philadelphia’s NewsTalk 990 AM.
Listen to “Aaron Klein Radio” clip of Joe Arpaio discussing Obama’s birth certificate:
During the interview, Arpaio brought up the birth certificate.
Arpaio’s office has been investigating the birth certificate since 2011.
Arpaio’s statements prompted Klein to ask for an update on his team’s investigation into the long-form birth certificate document, posted April 27, 2011 as a PDF file on the White House website.

Arpaio told Klein that “once again nobody wants to look at it right now.”
“So it’s not my problem. I did my job.”
Obama’s qualification for president as a “natural born citizen” has been challenged in court since before he was first elected in 2008. The White House finally relented in 2011 and posted a birth certificate, but Arpaio’s investigative team concluded it is a forgery.
Arpaio’s appointed lead investigator on the birth-certificate case, Mike Zullo, has been promising the release of “universe-shattering” information regarding the document.
“When this information is finally exposed to the public, it will be universe-shattering. This is beyond the pale of anything you can imagine,” he told WND in a December 2013 interview.
Zullo has testified that the White House computer image of Obama’s birth certificate contains anomalies that are unexplainable unless the document had been fabricated piecemeal by human intervention, rather than being copied from a genuine paper document.
See some of Zullo’s evidence:
Zullo has noted that Reed Hayes, a document examiner who has served as expert witness for Seattle law firm Perkins Coie – the firm that flew an attorney to Honolulu to personally deliver two paper copies of the birth certificate to the White House – has concluded in a signed affidavit that the document posted on the White House website is “entirely fabricated.”
The White House also has never verified the authenticity of a letter purportedly sent by President Obama to the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu in which he declares the center to be “the place of my birth.”

There also remains a mystery as to why Obama is using a possibly fraudulent Connecticut-based Social Security Number, when he and his parents never resided in the Constitution State.

Is NBC A Den Of Liars? Remember The "Exploding Trucks", Brian Williams And Now Savannah Guthrie

image: http://www.wnd.com/files/2015/02/savannah-guthrie-matt-lauer.jpg
Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer co-host the "Today" show.
Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer co-host the “Today” show.
It could be out of the frying pan and into the fire for “NBC Nightly News” if Brian Williams’ rumored successor in the anchor role gets the job.
The segment on “NBC Nightly News” was titled “Obama birth certificate – signed, sealed, delivered.”
Guthrie’s claims that the PDF document posted on the White House website is backed up by two certified paper copies delivered to the White House contradicts the digital forensic findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s “Cold Case Posse” investigators in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Alan Jones, writing on his 1776 Channel site Wednesday, noted Arpaio’s appointed lead investigator on the birth-certificate case, Mike Zullo, has been promising the release of “universe-shattering” information regarding the document.
The release of additional findings, Jones wrote, likely would pose for NBC News a “credibility crises far more severe than the Brian Williams fiasco.”
Jones on Wednesday interviewed Zullo, who noted Reed Hayes, a document examiner who has served as expert witness for Seattle law firm Perkins Coie – the firm that flew an attorney to Honolulu to personally deliver two paper copies of the birth certificate to the White House – has concluded in a signed affidavit that the document posted on the White House website is “entirely fabricated.”
“We have no evidence of a raised seal being displayed on that document that Savannah Guthrie supposedly felt,” Zullo said. “We don’t know what she felt. No evidence that we can determine shows alterations to that paper body indicating a raised seal. Their work flow is a scan of the document. Upon examination, there is no evidence of raised seal.”
Zullo said his team has seen examples of other Hawaii documents with raised seals clearly displayed.
He pointed out that, according to former White House attorney Bob Bauer – a Perkins Coie attorney before coming to the White House – Obama never even handled the document.
In a sit-down interview with Brian Williams in August 2010, Obama addressed what he called a “network of misinformation” surrounding him, including accusations about his birth certificate.
“I can’t spend all my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead. The facts are the facts,” Obama said.
Guthrie did a light interview with Obama during NBC’s pregame Super Bowl coverage that included beer-tasting and the president’s declaration of allegiance to guacamole.
NBC News announced Tuesday it has suspended Williams for six months without pay after revelations he “misrepresented” events he experienced in Iraq during the war.

Arpaio Suit Moving Ahead. Will It Stop The Illegal Presidential Actions? We Hope The Entire Judicial System Has Not Been Corrupted.

A federal judge in Washington listened to arguments Monday in a case that could stop President Obama’s amnesty plan cold, but a decision isn’t expected for days, possibly even several weeks.
U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell heard a request from attorney Larry Klayman of FreedomWatch on behalf of his client, Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, to immediately stop the implementation of the executive action Obama announced Nov. 20, which effectively grants amnesty to an estimated 5 million illegal aliens.
Klayman said he was pleased the judge held an expedited preliminary injunction hearing.
“This was important because as we speak, millions of illegal aliens are in the process of being granted amnesty,” he said. “As presented to the court, a large number of these illegal aliens will be back onto the streets of Maricopa County and the nation as a whole. Many of these illegals are repeat criminal offenders. This puts a great strain on the resources of Sheriff Arpaio’s office and endangers the people of Maricopa County.”
Klayman said, win or lose, the case likely will go to the Supreme Court, which “will be the final arbiter of whether the president’s actions are constitutional or not.”
Earlier, Klayman argued Obama “cannot end-run Congress based on his own ‘emperor-like’ actions.”
“By his own admission 22 times in the past, Obama lacks the power to take this unconstitutional executive action,” Klayman said. “To allow this to stand would amount to trashing our constitutional republic and set a bad precedent for future presidents. I am hopeful that the court will grant us the preliminary injunction, in order that the status quo of our current law can remain in effect, and allow the next Congress the right to enact any new legislation that can help solve our border and illegal immigration problems.”
He explained that if Obama’s “unconstitutional executive action” goes forward, Arpaio’s law enforcement duties and responsibilities “will be irreparably harmed.”
The sheriff, before the hearing, said,  the president’s “unconstitutional act” will have “a serious detrimental impact on my carrying out the duties and responsibilities for which I am encharged as sheriff.”
“Specifically, it will severely strain our resources, both in manpower and financially, necessary to protect the citizens I was elected to serve,” he said.
WND reported earlier when another federal judge declared the amnesty unconstitutional.
And Klayman said an injunction preventing the program from being implemented “will work no harm to defendants, as the status quo of existing law enacted by Congress will be preserved. It is not right or just that the president and the other defendants circumvent the will of the people in our republic, simply because they believe that the new Congress will not [toe] the line to their goals for immigration reform.”
Howell already has made a ruling in Arpaio’s favor, ordering a fast track for case arguments and hearings.
Two Justice Department lawyers representing Obama in the case had asked for the deadline for their initial response to be delayed until late January. But the judge ordered it submitted immediately and then scheduled Monday’s hearing.
WND reported Arpaio’s complaint argues the timing is crucial, because the government already is pouring resources into meeting the orders, and the offer of amnesty likely will draw a whole new flood of illegal aliens.
See Klayman’s comments after hearing:
The president’s decision, Klayman wrote, “orders direct DHS personnel including the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and ICE to immediately suspend enforcement of immigration laws with regard to any who appear to be eligible for the new deferred action programs, even though such persons might not yet be able to apply for formal recognition.”
The instructions also tell law enforcement officials to “immediately” begin identifying those who could be given the special benefit.
Klayman said the federal government already has leased office space and begun the process of hiring 1,000 new workers to process the illegal aliens through Obama’s amnesty program.
All of those actions would be for nothing if a court rules that the program doesn’t meet the Constitution’s requirements, he wrote.
“By contrast if the implementation is simply delayed until a court decision, there will be no such harm,” he said.
Klayman explained that under current law, Arpaio will turn over to the DHS illegal aliens who commit crimes in his county to be deported.
“By contrast, under the defendants’ new executive actions, those persons will not be subject to deportation. Therefore, they will serve out their criminal sentences in Plaintiff Arpaio’s jails, costing his office enormous time and expense,” Klayman argued.
The ruling that the amnesty program is unconstitutional came last week from a federal judge in Pennsylvania.
“President Obama’s unilateral legislative action violates the separation of powers provided for in the United States Constitution as well as the Take Care Clause, and therefore, is unconstitutional,” said U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.
The judge noted Obama “contended that although legislation is the most appropriate course of action to solve the immigration debate, his executive action was necessary because of Congress’s failure to pass legislation, acceptable to him, in this regard.
“This proposition is arbitrary and does not negate the requirement that the November 20, 2014, executive action be lawfully within the president’s executive authority,” the judge wrote. “It is not.”
Quoting from a previous precedent, the judge said that in the “framework of our Constitution, the president’s power to see that the laws are faithfully executed refutes the idea that he is to be a lawmaker.”
“The Constitution limits his functions in the lawmaking process to the recommending of laws he thinks wise and the vetoing of laws he thinks bad,” Schwab said.
The judge said Obama’s contention that Congress had not worked in his time frame was largely irrelevant.
