If This Becomes Law, Doubtful At Best, It Will Mean The End Of The US As We Know It.

Nancy Pelosi reveals her NASTY 100-day plan for 2019

If you think Nancy Pelosi didn’t get the message when she nearly lost her spot as House speaker, think again.
Pelosi has paid close attention, and is now rallying Democrats behind her by focusing her 2019 attention on a core issue for liberal voters: Disarming law abiding citizens in the first 100 days of 2019.
On Monday, Pelosi declared that she plans to move “boldly and decisively” to push major new anti-gun laws through the Democrat-controlled House once the next Congress is sworn into office.
Her first target in the initial 100-days of 2019 will be passing universal background checks for every single gun sale that happens in the country.
“The new Democratic majority will act boldly and decisively to pass commonsense, life-saving background checks that are overwhelmingly supported by the American people,” Pelosi said in a statement.
The amount of bureaucratic red tape that will add will be mind-boggling, warn critics. It will be expensive… and Pelosi may even try to make background checks required for private transaction
That would make criminals out of well-meaning gun owners who transfer the ownership of their legal guns even in their own family.
Pelosi “promised to support criminalizing the private transfer of firearms if Democrats were given control of the House,” the National Rifle Association warned in November.
Think granddad can hand-down his old shotgun to junior next hunting season? If Pelosi and friends have their way, that could mean prison time if granddad doesn’t conduct an expensive background check on his own family.
Additionally, no “universal” background check system would have stopped recent mass shootings, the NRA points out.
“Pelosi and her ilk will try to exploit all of the recent tragic shootings that have taken place in order to promote ‘universal’ background check while ignoring the fact that none of them would have been impacted by such a scheme,” the NRA pointed out. “The firearms in all of these horrific crimes were acquired through either the federally-mandated background check, or even more restrictive state systems.”
Critics have come out in force to oppose Pelosi’s nasty anti-gun plan.
“Universal background checks has always been a red herring. It’s something that sounds very commonsense and probably polls very well, but there’s not a single commercial gun transaction in America that doesn’t have a background check,” Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., told POLITICO.
“People who are putting this forward, I think they have good intentions. They don’t want the wrong people to have guns. But the wrong people are not going to report gun sales. So you will need a registry to know where every gun is,” Hudson said.
Pelosi wants to start creating that huge, expensive national registry early next year.
And that’s just the beginning.

Twitter's One Sided Acceptable Speech

Twitter User Says Dana Loesch’s Kids Need to be ‘Murdered,’ Social Giant Says ‘No Violation’

 Print
Advocating murder has become an acceptable form of speech, Twitter has ruled — at least when the target of invective is the family of National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch.
On Sunday, a Twitter user responded to Loesch as she was trying to discuss the Florida shooting online with other Twitter users.
“The only way these people learn is if it affects them directly. So if Dana Loesch has to have her children murdered before she’ll understand, I guess that’s what needs to happen,” Loesch posted in a screenshot of the comment she received.
At a time when Twitter and other social media giants have been tightening the screws on what they allow from websites such as Infowars, Loesch appealed to Twitter for a ruling to punish the user.
Twitter sided with Loesch’s critic.

“We have reviewed your report carefully and found that there was no violation of the Twitter Rules against abusive behavior,” it wrote, according to the screenshot Loesch posted.
Loesch then drew the only possible conclusion: Fair is only fair when the threats align with Twitter’s politics.

Is Twitter biased against conservatives?

“Apparently this doesn’t violate @TwitterSupportTOS. I know several conservatives who have been suspended for far less,” she tweeted.
The tweet that contained the implied threat was later taken down, although the account of the individual who posted it remains active, Law and Crime reported.
Twitter’s decision was attacked by writer Jazz Shaw on HotAir, who drew together many of the comments made on Twitter about the incident.

As insults against Loesch poured in, others demanded action.
Shaw said that kind of action is not in Twitter’s playbook.
“Jack Dorsey continues to talk a good game, bashfully admitting the inherent leftward views of his entire company while feigning shock and disappointment that anyone would think even for a moment that he would let those biases show up in their content suppression policies,” Shaw wrote. “This is one more example which puts the lie to these company pronouncements.”

Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway (D) has pleaded guilty to federal corruption charges, according to documents filed in federal court earlier this morning. (Breitbart)

In a press conference, Cox announced Caraway, 66, was part of a scheme that bankrupted Dallas County Schools (DCS), a bus agency, along with businessman Bob Leonard, who owned the surveillance company that took millions from DCS. She said Leonard paid Caraway and Rick Sorrells, the former DCS superintendent, more than $3.5 million in bribes, kickbacks, and other benefits. In April, Sorrells pleaded guilty to accepting more than $3 million.

Caraway, the second most powerful official at Dallas City Hall, resigned from his seat on the city council Thursday effective immediately, said Cox. He pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy, wire fraud, and tax evasion. She said each charge carries a sentence of five years in federal prison. For his cooperation, the legal parties agreed to 84 months imprisonment. Leonard was charged with one count of conspiracy.

WFAA reported that Caraway admitted to taking more than $450,000 in bribes, kickbacks, and other benefits in exchange for city council votes favoring Leonard’s camera company, Force Multiplier Solutions, which sought to work with DCS as part of a stop-arm-camera program, according to documents filed in Dallas federal court Thursday morning. Allegedly, the bribes and kickbacks began in 2011. Cox said Caraway failed to report the money for income tax purposes.

Caraway surrendered Thursday and was booked into jail. Cox said his sentencing is set for mid-December.

Also known for his uncompromising leftist stances, Caraway demanded the NRA cancel its upcoming 2018 convention in Dallas.

The disgraced politician now faces seven years in federal prison.
